How to fix e-5 or err 5, possible reasons for e-5.

E- 5 errors read as " Err5 " on controls manufactured before 2006

• Loading may be uneven- try putting two elements between the bottom two shelves and add more mass to the upper areas in the kiln
• Loading may be too close to the thermocouples.
• Element(s) out-broken inside the kiln, look for damage or perform a paper test .
• Element(s) out- a wire bringing power is burned off.
• Element(s) out- the center relay is out. The kiln section's temp may noticeably lag behind at med/ high temperatures. Top or bottom relay failure usually gives an E- d
• Thermocouples reading unevenly (from age or loading unevenly or too close to the thermocouple).
• Different style thermocouples are used in the same kiln.
• Possibly there is an issue with thermocouple readings- like a thermocouple may be about to fail or have a poor connection somewhere (typically temp will jump all over the place with a poor connection/ nearly failed thermocouple).
• Lid/ Hinge out of adjustment- lid opens a bit in the front when hot.
• Press 1,2,3 while firing and see if you see temperature readings jumping around.
• Do a paper test to see if all the elements can come on (tiny piece of paper on each element and watch them while you run a Fast Glaze for a few minutes)

CyberGhost5 Error

I have been having an error with CyberGhost 5 right from launching the program.

I keep getting an error on launching the program which says "Could not establish a secure connection to the CyberGhost 5-Network! Maybe CyberGhost 5 is blocked in your country or by your ISP". Which leads to 2 options "Try to reconnect" and "Quit". And above it is also written "Could not check CA-Certificate!". As a result the UI itself never launches.

Other useful information are:- 1. CyberGhost 5 is blocked in the country and thus the website is blocked to. But Hotspot Shield works (Too many ads so I don't use it).

2. Switching to Google DNS doesn't help.

3. CyberGhost 5 UI loads when switching location using Hotspot Shield.

4. Hotspot Shield is not hindering with CyberGhost 5. 5. CyberGhost 5 is allowed through Firewall.

If any other information is needed, please ask. Thank you for your help.

Sadly that means your country or ISP is actively blocking CyberGhost VPN...

Only thing I can advise you is try some other VPN provider.

I have tested a few VPN's on my blog: Free, Trial and Premium VPN reviews

There's even a free 180 days VPN (legal offer) if you look good...

If none of these work, please let me know.

Scusate ragazzi, sono nuovo in questo argomento, ho un problema con la stampante.

In pratica il motore del filamento non tira abbastanza, quindi non arriva abbastanza materiale all'estrusore.

E mi da anche "Err5".

Qualcuno potrebbe aiutarmi?

Non so se è un problema di software o del filamento.

Ho provato anche a collegargli un'altro motore, ma da sempre lo stesso problema.

Le cause possono essere molteplici.

• Hotend intasato
• Corrente motore troppo bassa
• Temperatura troppo bassa
• Qualche strozzatura nel tubo bowden
• Molla spingifilo con precarico troppo basso
• Ruota zigrinata non serrata sull'asse del motore

Intanto devi verificare sel il motore gira o se tende a bloccarsi, in questo caso lo senti scattare (TAC, TAC, ...), poi dovresti verificare che anche la ruota zigrinata giri.

Non penso che sia la temperatura, perché per un comune PLA ho messo addirittura 230 C°.

Il motore quando si muove a bassa velocità fa "tac tac tac", quando va veloce gira normalmente, penso che si muova troppo lentamente.

Provo allora a vedere se è intasato l'h otend.

Il tubo invece è regolare.

Ti aggiornerò se riuscirò a risolverlo.

Se fa "tac tac tac", lo stepper sta perdendo passi. Lo stepper deve eseguire i passi che gli dice la scheda madre non può girare più lentamente o più velocemente, ad ogni impulso deve ruotare esettamente di 1.8°, se gira più lentamente vul dire che perde passi anche a velocità maggiore anche se non si sente "tac tac tac".

A questo punto può essere l'hotend intasato o la corrente del motore troppo bassa.

Puoi provare anche la calibrazione step/mm dell'estrusore sia con il tubo bowden collegato all'hotend che con il tubo scollegato per vedere le differenze.

Oltre a tutto quanto detto se non sbaglio la stampante è bowden, quindi la difficoltà di alimentazione potrebbe essere causata anche dalla resistenza di scorrimento nel tubo bowden (pieghe, scarsa qualità). Prova a verificare anche quello, e magari posta un'immagine di estrusore, tubo e spingifilo. Potrebbe fare maggior chiarezza.

Per prima cosa io darei una pulita all'hotend smontando mozzle e gola perchè assai probabolmente è un problema di intasamento.

Mentre per la corrente del motore dovresti munirti di tester e misurare il valore della tensione sul trimmer del driver. Attenzione che se fai un cortocircuito friggi il driver e/o la scheda madre. In pratica imposta il tester su Volt (se lo metti su Ampere fai un cortocircuito) con fondo scala di 2 Volt, collega il negativo del tester sul negativo di alimentazione della scheda madre, con il puntale rosso tocca la vite di regolazione del driver (prendi bene la mira perchè con il puntale potresti fare un cortocircuito) e misura la tensione. Per calcolare la corrente dovresti anche verificare il valore della resistenza sense saldata sul driver, dovrebbe essere 0,1ohm (sulla resistenza ci dovrebbe essere scritto R10 o R100). Eventualmente manda anche una foto ingrandita del driver.

Il nozzle e la gola li ho già smontati e non erano intasati.

Durante la stampa invece vedo che quando ritira il filamento per spostarsi dopo non lo tira abbastanza.

Però proverò a vedere con il taster.

Ghost migration error from 3.x to 5.x

Issue Summary

• I’m upgrading a ghost instance from 3.x to the latest. From the guide, it looks like the best way is to backup the content and reinstall ghost, but then ran into this during the last step of the installation. And now I can consistently reproduce this by running ghost start

Steps to Reproduce

Setup information

Ghost Version 5.22.4

Node.js Version 16.18.0

How did you install Ghost? Had a version of Ghost 3.x, and did the reinstallation of Ghost 5.x.

Provide details of your host & operating system Ubuntu v18.04.6 LTS on DigitalOcean

Database type *MySQL 5.7

Browser & OS version N/A

Relevant log / error output

reinstalled ghost again with a different mysql db name ghost_prod2 and restored a backup and the site is running okay. but when I try to click on Posts/Drafts/Scheduled or Published, it always give me 404. And when I try to write a new post, there’s an internal server error:

I also tried ghost update --rollback but it tells me Message: 'No previous version found'

You need to be running MySQL version 8 with Ghost V5.

The steps to follow are:

• Backup the original database, or export your content, and copy the contents folder, theme, routes, and redirects.
• Install the latest versions of Ghost, MySQL, Node etc.
• Create a new Ghost site, and import the data.

Before doing this it’s a good idea to take a snapshot of the Droplet. Alternatively, create a new Droplet, setup Ghost, and migrate your data.

I'm getting Err 5 on my control panel, according to the manual: Display shows “Err 5” If there is a short at the Spa-side Remote, the display will show “Err 5” and the Remote Control is disabled (see L.E.D. behind right door of Contol Panel).
Replace Spa-side Remote switch Has anyone 'fixed' this issue, by not acutually replacing the remote. perhaps reconnecting some wires? any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I was able to clear the message on the terminal. Has anyone ever replaced a spa side remote? Without running cables again? is that possible? this is what I need. Just curious if I can use my existing wiring, hookup to the new remote (removing the wiring that comes with it). No, you must replace the switch with the wire. You also need to verify that it is the Spa side remote, and not the board. The switches fail in one of three ways: They go completely dead, and don't do anything. They do erratic things(turn stuff on and off) from time to time. They act as if someone is constantly pushing the buttons. This will generate an Err 05 in 30 seconds. The third is the easiest to rule out the board. What you do is open the panel(Phillips), and find the remote buss at the bottom with 6 wires connected. Kill the power to the board and take the whole buss off (will expose pins). Turn the panel back on. Clear the Err 05. If you get an Err 5 in 30 seconds, its the board. You can see how ruling out the board with the other 2 possibilities will be harder, or take more time rather. 9 times out of 10, it's the switch and not the board. But i had to give you that disclaimer. The switch comes in 3 colors, Blk, Wht, and Gry. So order to match. When you are ready, Make sure there is "slack" where the wire comes out of the conduit at the equipment. You may also want to lower the water level in the spa to the bottom of the tile (depending where your switch is). If your button is round, unscrew it and pull the button out (pulls in the slack at the other end). If your button is oval, pry it off,(should be siliconed) and pull out. Next, put the automation (3600) in service mode. Cut the (old) switch off the wire, and discard. Now you're going to use the wire in the conduit as a fish-tape. Attach the new cord to the spa-end of the "fish-tape", and pull the new wire through. Tip: strip back the wires so the connection has a lower profile, so it will slide easily through the conduit. Hook up the wires the same as the old(colors). New switch will be siliconed in at the spa side. If you can post a pic of the conduit in the spa after you remove the switch, I may be able to show you a quick, clean, way to mount the new switch. Good luck.

Having the same problem with a 3800. Went through a hugely expensive process of replacing the remote. Long story. Seeing the same problem - err5 - at the panel. Can I safely rule this a board problem?

Error 5 indicates the Roomba e Series right wheel cannot turn. Check the right wheel for obstructions.

Push the wheels up and down several times and shake out any loose debris that may be trapped in the wheel well.

Briskly turn both wheels by hand, ensuring they turn freely and that each wheel exhibits the same amount of resistance.
