GHOST: 'Year Zero' Pro-Shot Performance Clip From New York City

Professionally filmed video footage of Swedish occult rockers GHOST performing the song "Year Zero" live on May 11 at Webster Hall in New York City can be seen below.

A nameless ghoul stated: "Playing in New York will always feel very special for us, since it was the first city in the U.S. that embraced us. Every time we play there, it marks another step up for us — going from filling up the basement at Webster Hall, to filling up the Bowery to finally play at sold-out Webster Hall. We simply love New York."

GHOST 's new covers EP, "If You Have Ghost" , sold around 5,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 87 on The Billboard 200 chart. Issued on November 19 via Loma Vista Recordings , the five-track EP was recorded and produced by Dave Grohl ( FOO FIGHTERS , NIRVANA ),and includes cover versions of songs by ROKY ERICKSON , ABBA, ARMY OF LOVERS and DEPECHE MODE , plus a live version of the GHOST offering "Secular Haze" , recorded in Brooklyn earlier this year.

Outside North America (with the exception of Scandinavia), Spinefarm Records is the new releasing partner for Loma Vista on all GHOST recordings, including the new EP and previous album. Spinefarm releases are distributed through Caroline / Universal in all territories, including the U.K., where the EP was made available on November 18.

"If You Have Ghost" is available on CD, 12-inch vinyl and digitally. Those who pre-ordered the EP received an instant free download of "Secular Haze - Live" .

GHOST recently travelled to the U.S. to join AVENGED SEVENFOLD and DEFTONES for the "Hail To The King" tour; these dates — which ran until October 26 — marked the band's first proper U.S. outing since their "Haze Over America" trek earlier this year. GHOST also appeared at various music festivals across the U.S. this summer, including Coachella , Lollapalooza and Rock On The Range .

In Europe, GHOST has joined forces with ALICE IN CHAINS for a run of dates that started in the U.K. on November 9, before heading across to mainland Europe.

GHOST was forced to modify its name in the U.S. to GHOST B.C. for "legal reasons."

Ghost Light Shares Live Pro-Shot Video Of New Single, New Full-Show Audio [Watch/Listen]

A week ago today, Ghost Light  released their second original single from their forthcoming debut album with “Don’t Come Apart Just Yet, My Dear”. On Friday, the relatively new five-piece rock band shared the pro-shot video featuring their performance of the song, which was filmed at their 2018 concert at Atlanta’s Terminal West  back on December 1st .

Just like in the studio version, this 10-minute live rendition of “Don’t Come Apart Just Yet, My Dear” spent its first minute hammering away with its lively instrumental intro before bringing things down to earth, allowing for guitarist/singer Tom Hamilton to take it into the first verse. There was no 12-string acoustic (as heard in the studio version) this time around, but Raina Mullen kept a solid rhythmic foundation with her own mix of chords and harmonic backing vocals.

The performance’s lengthy solo section, featuring some wonderful back and forth play between Hamilton and pianist Holly Bowling , begins at the video’s 3:10-minute mark and continues into a gradual climax before wrapping at 7:30. Fans can watch the video below to relive the thrilling performance in full.

The twelfth edition of Danish metal festival Copenhell was organized in Copenhagen from 14th to 17th June with more than 38.000 people visiting the event during each of the four days. From four different stages to a huge number of places to eat and drink, the festival is also a safe place to be yourself, enjoying the sunset while listening to great bands, but also crowd surfing or being in the middle of a mosh-pit.
