The breath-taking superyacht KAMALAYA is a 55-metre Limited Editions Amels 180 displacement vessel, launched by the respected Dutch builder Amels in 2013. Luxury motor yacht KAMALAYA is designed by award-winning Tim Heywood and has an interior design from Remi Tessier. She accommodates a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins and has a crew of 13 for impeccable onboard service.

Guests arriving by tender will disembark onto the spacious swim platform, and abroad staircase to port and starboard leads to the casual lounge on the main deck aft, where armchairs for eight guests surround coffee tables.

The upper deck aft is furnished with an elegant alfresco dining table and a wet bar beneath the sundeck overhang, and two curving sofas coupled with circular drinks tables form a casual alfresco lounge along the aft balustrades.

The foredeck has sunpads in front of the windows, and along the bow there is storage for the tenders with a Davit crane for easy launch and retrieval.

Above, the sundeck has a touch-and-go helipad above the wheelhouse that can instead be laid out with sun loungers for the group to rest after an alfresco meal. Amidships and forward is a massive circular sundeck Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, and beneath the shade of the hardtop there is a wet bar and alfresco dining area. The aft is furnished with a dual sofa which has seating facing forward and to stern for magnificent uninterrupted views.

The lower deck hosts the majority of the guest accommodation, with three VIP staterooms as well as seven crew cabins and water toys storage in the stern.

On the main deck, the Master suite is placed forward with a twin cabin behind. The galley and crew service corridor is placed port of the main foyer and connects through to the formal dining area, which is placed forward within the open-plan main salon. The formal dining area seats up to 10 guests and has sliding glass doors to the side which leads to fold-down terraces. The salon creates two conversational areas by placing a sofa and two armchairs around a coffee table to port, and four armchairs around a coffee table to starboard.

KAMALAYA Specifications

The helm station is located forward on the upper deck, behind which is the Captain's cabin followed by the sky lounge, where broad windows allow for 180 views of the surroundings.

A pair of 1,408 HP MTU engines allows for a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 3 VIP staterooms and 1 twin cabin. The full-beam Master suite is placed on the main deck forward and has its own sea terrace. Behind, there is a twin cabin that can be used by guests or children as part of a family area. The three VIP staterooms are located on the lower deck, and every cabin comes with the TV and audio entertainment as well as a generous en-suite bathroom. The crew of 13 will ensure every guest is well taken care of throughout the cruise.

KAMALAYA Yacht for Charter

In 2013, Amels launched the 180'5" (55m) KAMALAYA. Elegant and commanding, she is a powerful, luxury motor yacht with plenty to offer the discerning charterer. She can welcome up to 10 guests, and they step on board to be welcomed by an expert and friendly crew of 14. A refit in 2018 updated the yacht, and she is in excellent condition for charter. The exterior design came from Tim Heywood Design, and the interior design is from Remi Tessier. Her beam of 30'1 (9.4m) means she has plenty of space inside and out on deck.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YACHT

The interior space and design are undoubtedly among the yacht’s highlights. She has an impressive master stateroom that extends across the full beam of the main deck, making space for a private office, a sleeping area, and a dressing room. It also has a fold-down balcony. The other guests sleep in a VIP, two double staterooms, and a twin cabin. The décor is understated, highly stylish and modern. Another of the yacht’s significant assets is her large sundeck. This features a bar, Jacuzzi, dining space and sunpads.

AN UNFORGETTABLE CHARTER

The yacht also has a great complement of water toys, and easy access to the ocean is guaranteed from the swim platform and the beach club. The toys include SeaBobs, a foil board, paddleboards, Sea-Doo Jet Skis, and diving gear. There are also bikes for exploring ashore and a gym for on-board fitness. Guests can look forward to cruising between each destination at 13 knots, with top speeds of 15 knots. An alfresco cinema means movie nights under the stars are a popular option after gourmet dinners.

Exclusive Amels 180 Limited Edition yacht KAMALAYA joins the charter fleet

Representing one of the most successful superyacht designs in recent years, 55m/180ft Amels yacht KAMALAYA is in a master class of her own. Delivered in 2013, she is marking her highly-anticipated debut onto the yacht charter market around the spectacular regions of the Mediterranean this summer, before heading over to the Caribbean for the winter season.

This elegant yacht helmed by Tim Heywood Design cuts a fine figure, showcasing beautiful lines and offering tantalising glimpses of her spacious alfresco living areas. If you're lucky enough to step aboard, her Remi Tessier-designed interiors are no less impressive, offering up an inviting blend of luxurious comfort and contemporary finishes as befitting a superyacht of her calibre.

Accommodation is provided for 10 guests in 5 stunning suites, comprising a full-beam master stateroom that plays host to an array of standout amenities, including a glorious fold-down sea balcony for intimate breakfasts à deux, private study and walk in closet. On her lower deck, you'll find 3 further doubles and one twin cabin, which can be converted into a full-beam VIP with one of her amidships double cabins, offering fabulous versatility for yacht charters.

Onboard highlights include a vast sundeck offering 360-degree views, replete with a Jacuzzi, comfortable sunpads and convenient bar. This area can be converted into an outdoor cinema under the stars or party deck depending on what you and your guests are in the mood for!

Her talented and highly-trained crew include a personal trainer for those looking to maintain their fitness regimes whilst onboard, as well as a swim instructor, perfect for the little ones. A number of crew members are also certified to provide training for the yacht's fantastic array of water sports toys, which include jet skis, SeaBobs and an electric foiling board for super-charged adventures across the waves.
