There isn’t a better way to visit Croatia and experience each of the islands than traveling on Dalmatino. The boat was stunning. The boat crew had the best service I have ever experienced. This trip will be very hard to top. We were directed to the best experiences on each island, food was absolutely delicious and beautiful at the same time. I would highly recommend this yacht and staff to anyone who has the opportunity to travel to Croatia!

I would give a six star as a vacation spot and a 100% satisfying rate. The staff was so helpful and so so nice. Food was over the top in presentation, variety and was delicious. The Captain chose just a perfect route through the islands, the right amount of village time as play time. I would do this trip every year on Dalmatino!

Each and every one of you made this week memorable and I will never forget it. Matea made sure our thunderstorm of a room was always inviting and shared her last hairtie with me so I could enjoy the water. Keke made sure I always had milk with dessert before even asking and kept us all in a good mood. To the chef who gave us a personal tour of the bars so we could experience the true culture. Rocco despite us leasing hi min the beginning made sure to act professional as always. Stipe on our day to the market gave us the submarine tunnel. Last but not leats, the Captain who ensure no matter the weather there was always a plan for fun in place. Overall, I wish I couls stay with you forever and I have never had such a wonderful time. I have no words to explain the marvelous adventure we have sailed with Captain Tom. It has been the upmost pleasure to embark in this journey around the Adriatic Sea with such a wonderful crew. Ivana is super attentive and dedicated to fulfilling the needs of all my fellow travelers who have stepped aboard Captain Tom’s deck. The sights seen could never be converged in the slightest. The sea was magical. The food was amazing. Everyday was a delight to my mouth. We cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you to the entire crew.

Altair – 08.2022

Carefree and a wonderful cruise down the Adriatic Mastercharter was the best Croatian travel agency I have dealt with in the last ten years. Ivana, Mirna and Mate are devout professionals who will tender to your every need. Ask a question and you will get an answer momentarily, if one of them is busy one of the others will respond. No detail is overlooked and everything is done to your satisfaction. They stay true to their motto which says “Everything is possible for one who believes”.

I wanted to charter a gulet for a family cruise and for my particular needs they suggested the Altair which turned out to be the perfect choice. The name Altair is derived from the bright star, aka Alpha Aquilae, which shines as the brightest star in the constellation Aquila the Eagle. It describes this gullet perfectly; it is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The crew is a family run affair; Captain Dare is a capable sailor and a wonderful host. His Dad Duje is a fantastic cook and a Captain in his own right and Dare’s sister Luce (Lucy) is a wonderful hostess and a do everything gal who will attend to your every need. Also there is Lovro, a very capable sailor who makes sure that the boat is securely tied, he will help you with all the heavy lifting, will provide you with the swimming toys once you are in the water and will watch over you while you swim.

The cruise down the Jadran (Adriatic Sea) was absolutely fantastic. We were in and out of secluded coves for swimming in the crystal clear water during the day and visited famous towns like Hvar, Korčula, Polače, Ston and others in the evening. It was a perfect combination of rest, relaxation and sightseeing.

I would like to take this opportnity to thank the crew once more for making me and my family feel like we were a part of their family and for providing us with a carefree, restfull, exciting and wonderfull experience. Special thanks goes out to my new friend Duje Junior (Dare’s son) who made our trip that much more enjoyable, this is from his new friend Brankec.

Corsario – 25 June 2022

We had the Best time in Corsario, aside from the amaizing places and smooth ride, the crew was so warm, dedicated and helpfull. Stand up padlle, water motor rides, snorkeling, biking and awesome more experiences we lived in this boat. Thank to this boat and the crew we could had an inforgivable family time! Romanca – 18.06.-25.06.2022

Global Rating: 5/5 (Excellent)

We travel often and far, and we have been around the world and had amazing experiences. But our vacation on the Romanca, chartered via MasterCharter, was truly unrivaled! Airline travel these days can be beyond hectic, and our vacation seemed to get off to the wrong start when the airline lost our luggage. Ivana (Mastercharter) and Andrea (owner of the Romanca) arranged a speedboat to take a passenger to get medication that had gone missing with the bags and PERSONALLY tracked our luggage down and had it hand-delivered to the boat as we were eating breakfast under sail. Additionally, a member of our party had a bicycle accident, and Marin (Romanca’s captain) was on location in minutes with the town’s doctor and sat with us through the process of going to the hospital and getting a few stitches, then offered to buy the injured person an ice cream, (because everyone knows when you get stitches, you get an ice cream). Despite our two mishaps, all 15 of our party fell madly in love with Croatia, the Adriatic, MasterCharter, and most specifically the Romanca and its crew. The Romanca is by far the prettiest wooden gullet on the Adriatic; you cannot help but share the pride of her crew as she sails into port. You can tie her up next to the largest, newest ship in any marina, and know you are the one privileged enough to call the Romanca home. Valentina and Mario knew everyone by name on the first morning and never forgot our food or drink preferences — my latte was being made before I could sit at the Romanca’s massive table. Victor is a world class chef and a true artist who goes out of his way to please everyone. He woke up in the middle of the night to feed the three of us who waited for the doctor to finish his work on our patient, and we got a beautiful steak with rice and salad, totally unexpected and above and beyond. Ivan, the first mate, went out with several of our younger “sailors” (as per our request) when they wanted to go to a club at midnight. He watched over us and protected us like family, even at the sacrifice of his night’s sleep. And Marin navigated us through it all, recommending phenomonal wineries, restaurants, and excursions on the islands. I’m not prone to write reviews, or be loquacious, but for this trip, I must! These people are so special and amazing; they find a magical way of outshining the scenery. That said, Croatia and her islands are not to be missed, their beauty is unparalleled and the experience is unmatched. Do yourself a favor, spend a week on the Romanca… just don’t book the weeks we want, we will be back!

What a wonderful experience for our family. From the very beginning everyone was warm and welcoming. Through our trip the crew was polite where we helpful and fun. The water sports were great and the e-foil was treat. The meals where fantastic and the bar never disappointed.

IT IS HARD IN LIFE TO BE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO EVER BE ABLE TO BE IN A POSITION TO BE ABLE TO VACATION ON A BOAT SUCH AS ANIMA MARIS. HOWEVER, IT IS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE THAT EXCEEDS ALL OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS.THIS TRIP WAS BEYOND WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. WE HOPED IT WOULD BE THIS WONDERFUL, BUT TO HAVE EACH DAY BE BETTER THAN THE DAY BEFORE HAS TRULY BEEN A DELIGHT. THE BOAT OF COURSE IS A WORK OF ART,A MIX OF MODERN YET STILL ROMANTIC. THE CABINS ARE SO SPACIOUS AND THE BATHROOMS AS WELL.NOVAK’S COOKING WAS SPECTACULAR AS WELL AS ALEXANDER. ANYTHING WE WANTED DELIVERED WHICH AS WE ALL KNOW IS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. SONIA KEPT OUR CABINS AND LAUNDRY IMPECCABLE AND THE REST OF THE CREW WAS WITH US ON DECK TIME WE NEEDED ANYTHING AT ALL. THE LOADED THE WATER TOY INTO THE SEA EVERYDAY SO OUR KIDS COULD RIDE THE SEABOB FROM MORNING TILL NIGHT. THEY WATCHED CAREFULLY AS THEY FLIPPED OFF THE TOP DECK IN TO THE WATER. CAPTAIN MARIO ALWAYS FOUND US THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BAYS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, PICKED THE BEST CREW. THEN WE CAME TO VICTORIA WHO ALL DAY, EVERYDAY MADE SURE WE HAD ANY DRINK OR SNACK WE WANTED. Captain Luka was very professional and helpful, his brother Damir and the chef were excellent too. I think the Steward, Ivor was a bit out of his depth as he was really a deck hand that had stood in for a Stewardess from what we learned, and whilst he tried hard, my only recommendation would be that an experienced stewardess would have added polish to the whole drinking and dining experience.

Blissful beaches, cool crowds

A pearl of the Dalmation Coast and the second-largest city in Croatia, Split is becoming a highly popular destination for luxury yacht charters . Its impressive architecture, trendy haunts and cultural beacons pull in thousands of visitors every year, but it is also equally renowned for its sapphire sea and picture-perfect beaches.

When arriving to Split by yacht, the city looks less like a thriving metropolis and more like a beachside oasis. Palm trees line the waterways, turquoise coves dot the shores and and flourishing green areas give the city a refreshing energy. 

Visitors can easily while away hours perusing the streets of Split. The city borrows inspiration from Venetian and Baroque themes, all underpinned by the signature Croatian architecture. A number of ancient sites were used as the backdrop for Game of Thrones; these include the fortress of Klis just outside the city and many of the city's elegant streets. 

The famous Diocletian’s Palace also enjoyed a star billing in Game of Thrones; namely the site’s basement played host to a den of dragons. Whether you’re a Game of Thrones fan or not, the UNESCO-listed building is well worth exploring while on a yacht charter vacation in the Mediterranean .  It dates back to the 4th century AD, and was originally built as a lavish estate for the Emperor. 

After a dose of culture, be sure to check out Split’s burgeoning creative side. The city is awash with prestigious art galleries and boutique shops peddling trend-setting bespoke goods. The city is also famous for its flourishing lavender fields, and you would be remiss not to bring back some heady lavender oil or sweet-scented cakes of soap after your trip to Split.

Within dawdling distance of Diocletian’s Palaces lies Bacivce Beach, a sandy strip where you can enjoy some down time before returning to your charter yacht to begin the next leg of your adventure.

After confirming the availability of your chosen yacht and your booking coming through, you will receive a MYBA charter agreement. MYBA is the Mediterranean Yacht Broker Association and sets the standards for everyone in the industry to adhere to. With it, we can guarantee you the impeccable service you seek. The agreement will also include any additional charges and taxes that may apply to your choice of itinerary.

APA is Advanced Provisioning Allowance. Paid in advance, it covers any additional expenses you rack up during your charter week. It includes fuel, marina fees, on-yacht meals, water toy usage, services, etc. Per the MYBA agreement, it’s usually in the range of 30-40% of the full price. If by the end of your cruise, you haven’t spent the entire amount, you’ll receive the remainder of it back. If your expenses exceed the upfront paid amount, you’ll have to cover them before disembarking.

From the moment you reach out to us, we work closely with you to determine your wishes and preferences and plan your itinerary accordingly. You’ll have to adhere to your yacht’s possible limitations and heed any captain’s advice. Yacht cruises are subject to weather conditions, marina availability, etc. But we always do everything in our power to reach your utmost satisfaction.

Booking yacht charters right before or already in the season is virtually impossible. Therefore, we suggest you aim to book the preferred vessel at least 6 months in advance to avoid the risk of losing out on it or the preferred dates.

Croatia, with its Mediterranean climate, offers a broad window into when you can visit it on a yacht charter. If you prefer milder temperatures and lesser crowds, we suggest visiting in spring or fall. Even though the summer season sees the most traffic, you can enjoy a cruise outside it just as much, if not more.

Gratuities are not subject to any written agreement, but they are customary. Depending on your satisfaction with the crew and service, you can pay between 10% and 15% to the captain, who will divide it among the entire staff.

In January 2023, Croatia switched from Kuna to Euro. For payments onboard, you should carry some cash with you. As for the other transactions in the country, you can count on most places having an option for card payment. If not, you won’t have much trouble finding ATMs around, either.

Anchoring in bays offers a delightful opportunity for morning swims and delightful dinners beneath the stars, yet it is suggested to converse with your captain and arrange for dinner instead of lunch when opting for a half-board package.

Diocletian’s Palace – Split, Croatia

Cruise into the city of Split, Croatia on a crewed yacht charter along the coast of Croatia at the turn of the 21st century to explore the ruins of the Palace of Diocletian built at the turn of the 4th century AD, approximately 1600 years ago. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of several along this very historic coastline, this site is well worth seeing while on your crewed yacht charter. And strewn throughout all are the remains of a long and varied history reflected in the architectural ruins of many cultures across the centuries.

Built as a retirement location, Roman Emperor Diocletian designed this structure to be a retirement palace, located along the crystal-clear waters of what is now the Croatian coastline. The town of Split grew up within and around the palace walls, as this was a structure built originally for 9000 inhabitants. Over the centuries, locals continued to create their home within the palace walls and now today there are still homes and shops that are anchored into the structure and there to stay.

Now, the Palace of Diocletian is the literal center of the town of Split, with one side along the sea. The other three sides remaining were built as heavily fortressed walls. The ruins are one of the most complete remains of a Roman Palace in existence. The Palace was built with several different levels, including a subterranean level with fully vaulted ceilings. The seaside façade, which was the main residence of the Emperor, retains the feeling of a villa, while the rest suggests a military camp. After the Romans abandoned the structure, the locals remaining moved into the fortified walls for protection, thus establishing the long history retained today of a living ruin, still alive with homes shops and bustling with day to day life.

Diocletian’s Palace: Explore on your own or have a private guided tour of Diocletian’s Palace which include Diocletian’s octagonal mausoleum (later was reconstructed into a Christian church – one of the oldest in the world) a temple later turned into a baptistery, the Peristyle a rectangular open court intended to become the heart of the palace, and the Palace cellars.
