For some of the most pristine waterfront views in town, head to Tide House, a second floor dining social with ample outdoor seating. This neighborhood favorite is serving up some of the best local seafood, all purchased directly from Florida fishermen. Stuart Boathouse

The Stuart Boathouse is a favorite local spot featuring a nostalgic blend of history, culture, and world-class hospitality. Located an expertly restored early 20th century building that once served as the St. Lucie Hotel in the mid 1920s, the structure was physically moved to its current location, which boasts views in every direction of the stunning St. Lucie River. Elliot Museum

The Elliott Museum is a treasure trove of temporary and permanent exhibits themed around a variety of historical subjects, including vintage cars, baseball, Americana, artwork, and much more. The museum was established in 1961 by Harmon Elliot to pay tribute to his father, Sterling Elliot, who was a prolific inventor, businessman and social activist. The senior Elliot was famously hailed a genius by his contemporary, Thomas Edison. He held more than 125 patents in his lifetime and invented a groundbreaking steering mechanism that would be used in American prototypes of the first automobiles. The museum bearing his name serves as a tribute to his life and work, with the hope of inspiring young minds toward innovation, curiosity, and character.

Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center

This 57 acre marine life nature center was founded in 1964 as a non-profit with the mission to protect Florida’s delicate and crucial coastal ecosystems. Situated between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean on Hutchinson Island, Florida, the center serves as an educational hub of exhibits that answer common questions like, “How does a baby sea turtle make it from shore to sea?” and “Where does trash in the ocean end up?” Exhibit galleries feature Florida’s coastal ecosystem with aquariums, dioramas, interactives, digital displays, and games. Review for Safe Harbor Harborage Yacht Club

The entire dock team, including Kateryn and Lee, were amazing on our recent stay. It's a beautiful facility with a wonderful pool, hot tub, bathroom and captain's lounge. I'm so glad we stopped by on our way down the coast. After getting fuel, we stayed on the south dock and had plenty of depth the whole way.

Nice layout with good facilities. It can be a little rough from wakes and waves entering the harbor from the ICW but the sturdy docks hold with no problem. Lots of available supplies and services available in the area.

This is the second nicest marina we have stayed in. Easy to book thru Dockwa and the dock staff are experienced & attentive. The only marina where they hailed me on VHF when I was a mile downstream! They use ch68 as their working channel but due to antenna location they often switch to cell phone for clarity. Jim was wonderful in giving us a lift up the dock and showing us the facilities after a very easy check-in. Beautiful pool, hot tub and clubhouse. Cc access laundry. Pump output in your slip on certain days, otherwise at the fuel dock. Just remember, this is FL so unlike other states, the fuel price they quote you does not include 6.5% state tax

First time stay for 2 nights. Beautiful marina property with clean facilities, a pool and fitness center. Many long term returning boaters are a tight group. Stayed on fixed piers and unfortunately during a NE wind which made for a rough couple of days. Fortunately they calmed down at night for sleeping comfort. A bit out of the way for visiting downtown Stuart but we were aware of that prior to booking. Staff was friendly but we had the bad fortune of having a brand new dockhand on duty who had no idea how to tie up our boat in high winds. Made for a rocky start.

HYCM is possibly the nicest marina I have stayed at between Stuart and Annapolis. The staff are just as friendly as I remembered them. Jim, Samantha, and Scott all remembered me from my prior stay. All of the staff are incredibly friendly. You'll be pressed to find a marina with the amenities HYCM provides.

Wow. 2nd stay with Harborage. They remembered me from 2 years ago. I cant say enough good things about this marina. Amenities are absolutely amazing. This is probably the best marina I have ever docked at.

Fabulous marina but please note this is the first marina we have stayed in which is on Waterway Guide whose prices were not updated. We actually paid $3.10 a foot for transient dock space not the $2.50 per foot shown in Waterway Guide.

Samantha was AWESOME to work with! She was very helpful over the phone as we were arriving late. Amenities are nice though showers/heads are a bit of a walk. Great restaurant!

Docking was a little difficult since we had to back in with high winds. The docks are concrete so make sure you have plenty of fenders ready. The showers and toilets were clean.

Excellent marina. Some of the friendliest staff I have encountered. Jim and Nick are awesome. Great facilities and a great restaurant on site. The pool is very nice and is clean. I would stay here year round if I wasn’t cruising. The parking is tight near the marina entrance, but there is ample parking further down the lot. Just a bit of a walk if it is raining.

Been here nearly a month getting upgrades and repairs done. Friendly staff, nice floating South Docks, have not had any trouble parking. I’m guessing the North Docks (fixed) are where the parking issues are. The train is kinda loud but we got used to it quickly. Location is terrific, close driving to HD, Walmart, Sams, West Marine, restaurants, etc.. Boat Owner’s Warehouse is a great resource nearby.

We liked this place in the winter of 2018. However our opinion has changed drastically. The place sold out to the new restaurant at the expense of the boaters. There are approximately 38 parking spaces (yes I counted) for boaters on the north end all the way up to the bridge. The restaurant has been given prime exclusive parking and parking lots. You compete with condo owners, condo guests, restaurant employees and guests, vendors and hundreds of boaters for a place to park. If you like trains, the train tracks are real close and the train has one loud horn. If adult entertainment is your thing, there is an adult club a short walk across the street. If you draw 4.6 you will kick up mud and yes, it will be in your intakes. Tonight we had the pleasure of watching what appeared to be a drunk driver hit a condo garage on the way in. Giant thumbs down this year.

East docks are fixed and west docks are floating. Ask about extended stay rules for sleeping onboard your boat and about rules for parking a car. Trains nearby.

Great marina across the river from downtown Stuart, FL. Very friendly staff and free golf cart shuttle to your boat. Downside is the parking.

Safe Harborage Marina in Stuart, FL is 5 star all the way. If you are looking for a friendly marina with the best dock hands and office staff that can answer your question you must stay at the Harborage. I've traveled the Intercostal from Maryland to Key West in my Viking motor yacht and The Harborage is the most friendly well run Marina second to none. It is so well manage and has so much to do for boat owners. It has Pot Luck dinners, free paint lessons on canves, free gym, free water aerobics, discount on fuel for boat owners staying at the Harborage, Happy Hour at the pool side bar. Tidewater restaurant is right at the marina, downtown Stuart is less than 1 mile away, I have now been here for several months and I have decided to make Stuart my final destination because staying at the Harborage feels like home. Another weekend where we can't leave the dock! Sitting on the bottom at high tide (5.5 draft) . Absolutely ridiculous! The marina is not maintained and having a conversation with management is crazy making ... clueless!!! The place has so much potential but can't seem to get there.

Great staff. I love the walking distance to downtown Stuart. I feel very safe and enjoy the amenities. I would recommend staying.

We stayed at Harborage for a month. We chose this marina because of the two pools. We enjoyed the bar and grill at the north pool and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful! I have never had better French frys and we loved the Texas burger and chicken Cesar wrap. I felt every staff member loves their job. The marina has mobile pump outs and water with 50 and 30 amp at each slip. They also have fuel and a pump out station. The docs are all new clean composite (Treck Decks I think). It's going to be hard to leave such a spot close to restaurants and grocery stores ( 1 mile to Publix) and friendly staff. Well done managers of this place it is clean pleasant and we will be back.

We stayed for a couple nights in the marina. Staff and marina is just terrific. Beautiful accommodations. Restaurant - Tide House was really good and ate there twice. The only feedback I would provide for the facilities is they advertise bikes but they haven't gotten yet, the fitness center should have towels and the steam room and a couple showers were not working. Other than that very well recommended.

This marina is now known as the Loggerhead, and is part of a group that allows visiting privileges to other marinas on both the east and west coasts of Florida.Of the Loggerhead marinas, this one has slightly lower fees than most, so with the visitation policy, this can be a real plus. There are two parts to the marina, one with floating docks (closer to the bridge and parking) and one with fixed docks (closer to the facility amenities.) Some months this place looks like a ghost town. There are usually slips available for to the general public. Since the city of Stuart no longer allows parking in the spaces near the bridge from 2am-6am, parking can be a little more of a challenge for those on a live aboard. The Harborage/Loggerhead also has a number of condos, and those owners have spaces under their buildings. Even though the marina is now owned by the Loggerhead group, all the signage outside still says "Harborage." There is a small pool, bar/cafe and restaurant that can be used by the boating crowd. Condo owners have a food/beverage monthly minimum, but that is not a factor for those renting slips. The facilities are nice and kept well, but nothing fancy or worth writing home about. The location is very convenient to downtown Stuart, grocery stores, etc. It is a little less convenient than the Marriott- Hutchison island marina if you are looking to get out to the blue water fast, or if you want a more resort-type accomodation. On the flip side, the Loggerhead/Harborage location is also much more protected and further inland for hurricane season and lots of the folk live there full time, so they are a little more friendly. They are dredging the inlet right now, as the water can be pretty skinny getting out from the intercoastal. Definitely something to think about if you draft deep, but good to know that it is being addressed.
