As real sailing professionals what we absolutely do not do is take you out when conditions are such that we cannot actually sail (see chart below). Beyond a doubt First Coast Charters is the premiere Jacksonville sailing experience for the money. Sail aboard Branwyn a modern, well equipped, fast, roomy Beneteau 311 sloop operated by a US Coast Guard licensed professional and ASA accredited sailing Instructor. Our 2 to 4 hour charters run just south of downtown leaving out of the Ortega river and sailing south. We provide an idyllic setting for family and friends to relax, enjoy food and beverages and good company all while having fun under sail! For that special connection our sunset charters are one of the best romantic offerings you can find in NE Florida!

Looking for a little more excitement? Try an introduction to sailing! If you have never sailed but are interested in learning then start with a 3-4 hour interactive introduction to sailing during which you will learn the fundamentals of sailing. After a brief orientation you will be invited to actively participate by manning the helm and sheets. Warning - this may be the beginning of a very rewarding new pastime!

Experience real cruising! Daylong cruises are available on the St. Johns river to Mayport or Ft. George Island. Extended multi-day cruising offerings include destinations like St. Marys, Cumberland Island, Amelia Island, Fernandina and St. Augustine. Whether on the river, Intracoastal or offshore we guarantee a fun, exciting and exhilarating sailing excursion.

The active boating community and the natural scenic beauty make it a prime destination for boat rides.

How much does it cost to rent a boat in Jacksonville?

Boat rentals in Jacksonville, FL, vary depending on the type and size of the boat. Generally, prices range from around $200 to $600 daily for standard motorboats or pontoons, while luxury yachts or larger vessels can cost $1,000 or more daily.

How can I find a romantic boat ride in Jacksonville, Florida?

Are you looking for a romantic boat ride in Jacksonville, FL ? Several companies provide afternoon charters and sunset cruises. You might ask if they provide “dock and dine” services or perhaps have a partner that offers picnics.

What river runs through Jacksonville, FL?

The St. Johns River runs through Jacksonville, Florida. It is one of the few rivers in the United States that flows north, extending over 300 miles from its source in the southern part of the state to its mouth at the Atlantic Ocean near Jacksonville. A boat ride in Jacksonville, FL, is the best way to experience its uniqueness and the natural beauty of the St Johns River.

Why is the St Johns River dark?

The St. Johns River appears dark primarily due to the high concentration of tannins in the water. Tannins are organic compounds that seep into the river from decaying vegetation and wetlands, giving the water a tea-like, dark color. A common myth is that it is dirty and polluted. The river's slow flow also allows these tannins to accumulate, further contributing to its dark appearance.

I truly enjoyed my experience with McCoy Waterways. We were provided with an array of beverages and food that was delicious and refreshing! Being out there on the water was relaxing and we were able to travel all the way to downtown areas. The owners are truly a blessing and wonderful hosts! I would definitely book an experience with them again. It’s WORTH it!

Rent a Boat in Jacksonville

Located in Northern Florida just south of the Georgia border, Jacksonville sits just inland from the Atlantic ocean on the St. John’s River. Area waterways provide easy access to the Atlantic, Lake George, Doctor’s Lake, and the famed Intercoastal Waterway, while the city’s abundant launch ramps and marinas make Jacksonville, also known as “Jax,” a great place for sailing and power boating.

Jacksonville features great fishing, with a wide variety of species both offshore in the deep waters of the Atlantic and inshore in the St John’s River and other area waterways as well as great snorkeling and diving, wakeboarding and tubing, kitesurfing, and much more.

With more than 1,110 miles of interior shoreline, easy access to the Atlantic, and so many opportunities for aquatic adventures, it’s easy to see why Jacksonville is a great destination for boaters.

What To Know

Jacksonville’s easy access to both inshore and offshore boating make a few different boat styles popular, which include –

Pontoon boats , runabouts, bowriders, and deck boats are common options for inshore cruises, fishing , snorkeling, wakeboarding, and cruising the extensive area waterways.

Jacksonville’s great offshore fishing makes center consoles and small cruisers popular boat rental options, although larger sportfishing boats and luxury yachts are also commonly seen on the ocean and river.

Safety Requirements :

Boating License/Education Rules : Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course and have in his/her possession photographic identification and a boating safety education identification card issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Life Jacket Requirements : Children ages 6 and under must wear a personal floatation device (PFD).

Manatees are a frequent sight in the inland waterways such as the St. John’s River and ICW so remember to watch for these protected creatures, protection zones, and your speed when present.

Visit the  Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission to learn more.

Where to dock your boat or meet your rental :

Metropolitan Park Marina

St. Johns Marina

Arlington Marina

Ortega River Marina

Seafarers Marina

Weather Conditions

Jacksonville has beautiful coastal weather all year long, with summer high’s in the 90s, although the area’s ocean breezes keep the heat from becoming oppressive. Jacksonville can also see more clouds and rain in the summer than other times of the year.

Spring and fall seasons bring milder weather, while winter temps usually stay in the 50s and 60s. Winter temperatures can occasionally drop below freezing, although it doesn’t happen often or for too long.

Since Jacksonville is not located directly on the coast, the city is a little better protected and less likely to see any effects from hurricane season.

Avg. Temperature High : July is Jacksonville’s hottest month with temps around 90°F

Avg. Temperature Low : January is the area’s coolest month with temps around 46°F

Avg. Water Temperatures in and around Destin :

83°F in the Summer (June, July, August)

68°F in Spring (March, April, May)

76°F in Fall (September, October, November)

65°F in Winter (December, January, February)

Things to Do in Jacksonville by Boat

Visit Exchange Club Island

Visit Exchange Club Island

Located in the middle of the St. John’s River just to the east of Jacksonville, Exchange Club Island is only accessible by water. Sitting partially beneath the Matthews Bridge, the 34-acre island features a winding nature trail, picnic shelters, and a place to dock.

Tie up your boat and walk the island, bring food and refreshments, check out the wildlife, or just sit and watch the other boats go by. While a visit to Exchange Club Island is a peaceful way to spend the day, getting there and back by boat is half the fun.

There is no bad time to visit the island. However, be aware that there are no facilities or shops on the island so watch the weather and be sure to take plenty of food, water, and sunscreen along.

Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW)

Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW)

Jacksonville is home to 40 miles of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway,  which runs more than 3000 miles from Boston all the way around the tip of Florida and up to Texas. Consisting of natural waterways connected with man-made channels, the Intracoastal Waterway, or ICW, provides boaters with a beautiful way to cruise from place to place or just spend a day enjoying the scenery and wildlife.

Jacksonville ICW cruisers can see beautiful houses and abundant wildlife including herons, egrets, manatees, and more. A cruise along the ICW can also include swimming in beautiful coves, and exploring the coast, or it can just be a great way to enjoy a beautiful day on the water.

Fish inshore on the St. John’s River or Offshore in the Atlantic

Fish inshore on the St. John’s River or Offshore in the Atlantic

Sitting near the mouth of the St. John’s River where it connects with the Atlantic, Jacksonville offers boaters the choice to fish offshore for big stuff, or in the rivers and waterways when the weather makes it a challenge to head for deeper water.

Jacksonville’s abundant waterways and fish species even make it easy to fish from a kayak if the mood strikes.

Deep Sea Fishing in the Atlantic (Offshore)

Target species : Marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna, wahoo, snapper, mackerel, cobia, shark

Seasonality : March through November are best for many species. Although things cool down in the winter, there is still plenty to catch year-round

Boat selection : Center consoles, cruisers, sportfish, and convertibles for deeper water

Fishing the St. John’s and Inland Waterways (Inshore)

Target species : Trout, redfish, sheepshead, black drum, tarpon, snook, flounder

Seasonality : There is something to catch all year long

Boat selection :Pontoon boats, center consoles, aluminum fishing boats, flats skiffs, runabouts

Where to Go Boating in Jacksonville

Fort George Inlet

Fort George Inlet

Located just north of the St. John’s River where the Fort George River meets the Atlantic, Fort George Inlet is a sheltered area just off the ocean and very popular hotspot for boaters. Surrounded by a sandy, hooked-shaped peninsula with sandy beaches and crystal-clear water, the large, open basin provides a great spot for wakeboarding, tubing, fishing, or whatever watery activity you prefer. There are also plenty of areas to explore by boat.

Nearby Marinas : Fort George Island Marina, Morningstar Marinas, Harbortown Marina

Closest Boat Ramp : Cedar Point Boat Ramp, Mayport Boat Ramp, Joe Carlucci Sisters Creek Boat Ramp

Wake Zone : Although none are listed, watch for signs on all Jacksonville waters designating an area as “Idle Speed – No Wake” or “Slow Down – Minimum Wake.”

ProTips : Fort George Inlet is a very popular destination for area boaters and can get crowded on holiday weekends. Also, beware of the inlet’s many shallow sandbars.

Lat/Long : 30.41781 N, -81.41305 W

Google Maps Link

Bayard Point

Bayard Point

Located approximately 17 miles south of the city on the St. John’s River, Bayard Point is another popular Jacksonville boating destination. Bayard Point is also the site of Jacksonville’s unofficial holiday, Boaters Skip Day, when hundreds of boat owners “play hooky” from school or work to meet up and enjoy a day on the water. With it’s natural beauty and large, shallow sandbar, the area is perfect for rafting up with other boats or finding a place to beach and explore the natural surroundings.

Nearby Marinas : Black Creek Marina and Bait Shop, Amity Marina, Julington Creek Marina

Closest Boat Ramp : Shands Boat Ramp, Palmo Boat Ramp

Wake Zone : No wake zones and manatee areas exist throughout the St. Johns River, watch for signs designating an area as No Wake or Minimum Wake and understand what they mean.

Tips : The Bayard Point area and the sandbar is a very popular destination for area boaters so it can get crowded on holiday weekends.

Lat/Long : 29.93982 N, -81.60419 W

Jacksonville Beach

Jacksonville Beach

On a beautiful, sunny day, there are few better places to be than out on the ocean. For Jacksonville boaters, going out to the Atlantic is as easy as running up the St. John’s River or driving to a ramp out near Jacksonville Beach and hitting the open water. Cruising along Jacksonville Beach gives boaters and sailors plenty to see and do, whether the plan calls for sightseeing, fishing, or diving the wrecks and reefs off the beach.

Nearby Marinas : Fort George Island Marina, Morningstar Marinas, Harbortown Marin

Closest Boat Ramp : Mayport Boat Ramp, Jim King Boat Ramp, Joe Carlucci Sisters Creek Boat Ramp, Oak Harbor Public Boat Ramp

Tips : The Florida sun can catch people off-guard if they are not used to it. Be sure to bring plenty of food, water, and sunscreen for a great day on the water.

Lat/Long : 30.30960 N, -81.38878 W

Dan was great. Professional in every way possible. The experience was beyond words can express. Boat was in incredible condition. Seven of us enjoyed a beautiful day on the water tubing and relaxing on the big float. Dan gave us a nice map with points to visit, including the rope swing. The family had a memorial or day we will never forget. We will most definitely be calling Dan again to rent. Highly recommend for your perfect tritoon/pontoon boating experience. It was like having our own luxury boat for the day.

Diane

Capt. Alyse and her first mate were exactly what we were looking for today for some time on the water! She was knowledgeable and persistent about finding our 16-year-old a good fishing spot, resulting in his personal best flounder. She made our group of friends feel right at home on her boat. All of our communication was timely and professional. Highly recommend…and hope to be back ourselves!

Boris was fantastic to work with ! We rented three boats from him all on the same day and each performed VERY well. We could not have asked for a better experience or person to work with. Boris and his boats are great !

Isaac

The entire experience was great from start to finish. Brian was so quick and prompt to respond and make accommodations for a last minute booking. The boat was great, the equipment was excellent and time on the water was perfect.

Owner of stranded boat on Jacksonville Beach wants to move on and get ‘back on the water’

The state will start the process of removing the boat in about a week.

Ariel Schiller , Reporter , Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The owner of a shipwreck turned tourist attraction that has been stuck on Jacksonville Beach for more than two weeks has a deadline from the state to remove the 40-foot vessel from the shore.

Luke Rehberg said he was floating off the coast to watch the air and sea show a few weekends ago when the anchor broke , the engine failed and the waves pushed the craft onto the beach.

Rehberg said the state will take over the boat and start the process of removing it on Nov. 16 as he works to move forward from this situation.

“I’ve been able to move most of my personal belongings. At this point, there’s very little chance of it getting back in the water. It looks like it’s going to be recovered by the state of Florida,” he said.

The rare site has drawn the attention of many sightseers -- local and out of town.

Bonnie Will is one of those visitors from out of state.

“I just drove from Greenville, South Carolina, for six and a half hours, walked out on this beautiful beach and the first thing I see is this awesome boat, so it’s pretty exciting to see,” Will said.

Many others like Will were on the beach Wednesday afternoon to take pictures of and with the the stranded boat.

Raja Asim is a boat enthusiast who’s visited the site several times since coming into town a few days ago.

“Wonderful experience, especially since I’m interested in wanting a boat like that myself. It’s a good idea to look at it closely and read the inspector’s notice on it so it gives me a better perspective on it,” said Asim, who was visiting from North Carolina.

Rehberg said he is doing his best to close this chapter.

“Just trying to get this situation taken care of cleanly and safely and move on to try to build another boat and get back on the water,” he said.

Since the state is taking over the boat, Rehberg plans to use the donations from the GoFundMe to help pay the expected bill from the state.

Coast Guard Station Mayport crew speaks out after saving family of five stranded at sea

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Action News spoke with the crew that helped rescue a family found sitting on a capsized boat out at sea.

The Coast Guard Station Mayport crew said the rescue could have escalated if the family hadn’t worn their lifejackets or stayed together.

“The boat started taking water. Please help,” a family member said during the 911 emergency call.

A family of five was on top of their overturned boat after their bilge pump stopped working properly.

“Our boat is upside down. Will you be able to locate us? Our boat is sinking,” the 911 call continued.

The Coast Guard Station Mayport boat crew got the call and performed a rescue operation.

“If it hadn’t been for their speedy response to the search and rescue case, it could have ended much differently,” Mk2 Thomas Aveni said.

Upon arrival, the boat crew found the five individuals, all wearing lifejackets.

“That was a key factor in the success of this case. The fact they stayed with their boat and the ability of my crew that I am so proud of. They were able to get this boat underway quickly to save those guys,” Aveni said.

“Smiles across their faces as soon as we got up to them,” crew member Tyler Vance said.

The crew safely brought all five back to land. But their jobs weren’t over.

“I say two hours after we were done, we had another case by Sisters Creek of a boat taking on water. They ended up mooring their boat into the ramp so they wouldn’t sink,” crew member Christian Celino said.

That family was able to continue their Fourth of July holiday thanks to this rescue team.

“That’s why I Join the Coast Guide to help and save people,” crew member Misael Acocar said.

Officials encourage boaters to have a lifejacket and a personal locator beacon when on water.

Coast Guard suspends search for missing boater in Lake Erie; 2 others found alive, 1 dead

sailboat in jax beach

The U.S. Coast Guard in Ohio suspended its search Saturday evening for a missing man after a 23-foot boat he was on capsized in Lake Erie.

The search first began around 10:34 a.m. Saturday when someone sent a MAYDAY call to Coast Guard Sector Eastern Great Lakes in Buffalo, New York, U.S. Coast Guard District 9 said in a news release.

A helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Detroit and a boat crew from Station Cleveland Harbor joined the search, but then nearly an hour later, the Air Station Detroit crew was sent to help with a separate person-in-the-water case in Lake Erie, off Ashtabula.

The Cleveland Harbor crew continued working on the initial case and the Air Station Detroit Crew returned to help after the other rescue was made.

At 1:46 pm, a local fire crew contacted Sector Eastern Great Lakes to tell them they’d found coolers and other debris floating in the water about 1 to 2 nautical miles off the Perry Power Plant.

3 people found in the water: 1 responsive, 1 unresponsive

The Detroit crew that was sent to another rescue took care of that case, refueled and came back to help. They found one responsive person in the water who was wearing a life jacket and rescued them.

The fire department boat crew also rescued one responsive person from the water who was wearing a life jacket. The Cleveland Harbor crew rescued a third person , a man, who was unresponsive and was later pronounced dead at a hospital, the Coast Guard said.

In addition to finding the three people, searchers also found their 23-foot vessel that had capsized and became partially submerged just before 2 p.m. Saturday.

Divers with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office searched the boat. Investigators don’t know what caused the boat to capsize.

Fourth boater missing, search suspended

After the three boaters had been rescued, searchers found out there was a fourth person still unaccounted for. It was not immediately clear whether the person was wearing a life jacket or not.

To find the fourth individual, a boat crew from Coast Guard Station Fairport was sent out to look. Altogether, Coast Guard Station Fairport, the Detroit air crew and the local fire department searched for this fourth person.

The Coast Guard suspended the search Saturday evening after rescue crews searched by air and boat for 10 hours. The search encompassed 64 square miles , an area slightly smaller than the city of Cleveland, the Coast Guard said.

“Suspending a search and rescue case is one of the most difficult decisions for us to make,” said Capt. Mark Kuperman, the Commander of Coast Guard Sector Eastern Great Lakes, in a news release.

Over 10 agencies were involved in the search, including the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Lake County Fire Department, the Perry Police Department and the Mentor Fire Department.

Eventually the Cleveland Harbor crew was released from the search due to crew fatigue, the Coast Guard said.

Kuperman thanked the agencies that were involved in the search. He recognized the crews for trying to return the boaters to their families safely.

“We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of those involved in this tragic incident,” he said.

5 others rescued in Lake Erie Saturday

Elsewhere in Lake Erie Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard rescued five people who were clinging to a cooler about 10 miles from the shores of Ohio, reported the Detroit Free Press , part of the USA TODAY network. The people were on a 22-foot boat that was "swamped" by a wave, sending the group into the water.

Someone from the group called 911, leading to their rescue. The Coast Guard shared footage from the rescue on social media.

Those rescued were all wearing life jackets and there were no medical issues, the Coast Guard said. The people were flown to the Northwest Ohio Regional Airport in Jefferson.

Palm Beach set to donate $80,000 to Lake Worth Beach in exchange for beach access

sailboat in jax beach

Palm Beach staff soon will be meeting with their Lake Worth Beach counterparts after the Town Council gave the go-ahead for them to draft an agreement that would allow the town to access the beach via that city's patch of coastline.

The town wants to use a concrete road south of the Lake Worth Pier during a South End beach and dune renourishment project that is expected to begin later this year, Public Works Director Paul Brazil told the Council during its meeting on Tuesday.

In return, Palm Beach would donate $80,000 from the Town's Coastal Fund to Lake Worth Beach to improve the public area between the beach and city's public parking lot, he said.

The project to replenish sand along the stretch of coastline from Phipps Ocean Park to La Bonne Vie Condominiums requires a land-based access point to transport and dump sand along the southernmost portions, Brazil said.

"We have to truck it in, there isn't any other alternative," Brazil said, noting that the protected seafloor near the coastline bars barges from pumping sand there.

During previous beach renourishment projects, the town entered Reach 8, the coastline spanning from The Ambassador Hotel to La Bonnie Vie Condominium, through an access point at the 3360 S. Ocean Blvd Condominium, Brazil told the council.

Those projects had a significant impact on the quality of life of the condominium's residents.

“They have said that they don’t want to participate anymore, and I cannot blame them at all,” Brazil said.

Instead of seeking out another condominium, the town decided to reach out to Lake Worth Beach, as it offered the easiest access to the coastline, he said.

Historically, the town and Lake Worth Beach have had a tenuous relationship, with the city repeatedly denying the town's request for access, Brazil said. This year, he said, Lake Worth Beach was receptive to the proposal and had a "reasonable" request in return for access. Hence, the donation of $80,000 for the park.

"What we have seen in the past going through a condominium, our restoration cost could easily exceed $80,000," he said, noting that the project would only have to replace the dune vegetation. "So the restoration of their property would be very low (cost), since it's paved surfaces."

Brazil said he hoped the agreement could serve as a foundation for a collaborative approach to coastal management in the town's South End.

The Council agreed, with member Lew Crampton calling support for the agreement a "no brainer."

Council Member Bridget Moran asked if the town was setting a precedent by giving Lake Worth Beach a donation for access to the coastline.

"I don't know how it's going to work out, it's the first time we've gotten this far," Brazil said.

Town Manager Kirk Blouin said he didn't believe the town would have to give another donation, as Lake Worth would benefit from any beach nourishment project targeting the South End.

Mayor Danielle Moore and Council Member Julie Araskog gave a special thanks to Lake Worth's elected officials for their willingness to collaborate.

Ronald Matzner, co-counsel for South End-based Citizens' Association of Palm Beach, praised the town staff efforts to replenish the South End's coastline .

"This is really a big deal for the residents of the South End," Matzner said. "The anxiety about our beaches — this will help resolve all of that.

Town Council voted 5-0 to approve a future $80,000 one-time donation in exchange for coastline access, which will be codified and implemented when staff returns to the council with a draft interlocal agreement.

LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) — A power boat crashed into a jetty in Southern California, killing one man and injuring 10 other people, officials said.

The Long Beach Fire Department responded to reports around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday that a 48-foot (15-meter) boat had crashed into the Alamitos Bay jetty, officials said Thursday.

Capt. Jack Crabtree, of the Long Beach Fire Department, said speed was likely a factor, with initial estimates indicating the boat was traveling at roughly 40 mph (64 kph), the Los Angeles Times reported .

All 10 people who were injured were taken to hospitals.

No other information was released and the investigation is ongoing.

A jetty is a long, narrow structure that extends from shore into water.

Jeffrey Epstein secret transcripts: Victim was asked, Do you know 'you committed a crime?'

The Jeffrey Epstein saga began — and could have ended — in Palm Beach County in 2006. The Palm Beach Post sued in 2019 to find out why it didn't. Now, secret documents detailing what happened 18 years ago when Epstein was indicted on only a single prostitution charge are public.

When presenting her case against Jeffrey Epstein to a 2006 grand jury, a Palm Beach County prosecutor asked one of two teenage victims testifying whether she was aware she "committed a crime,” according to secret transcripts published Monday in a Palm Beach Post lawsuit.

Members of the grand jury echoed the accusatory tones of assistant state attorneys Lanna Belohlavek and Mary Ann Duggan, posing questions that sounded more like condemnation.

One juror asked the girl: “Do you have any idea, deep down inside of you, that you — what you’re doing is wrong?”Victim: “Yeah. I did.”

Juror: “Have you set the goals to not do it anymore?”

Victim: “Yes.”

Juror: “And you’re well aware that — what you’re doing to your own reputation?”

Victim: “Yes. I do.”

Belohlavek: “You’re aware that you committed a crime?”

Victim: “Now I am.”

The Post sued for the release of the materials after it found in its 2019 investigation that then-Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer undermined his own case against Epstein in 2006. His office never spoke with any of the victims, according to state attorney documents, and once Epstein's famous defense attorneys came to town, his office quit communicating regularly with police.

No longer secret: Jeffrey Epstein 2006 grand jury documents are public. Read for yourself what happened

Read The Post's 2019 investigation: How Jeffrey Epstein's first prosecutors failed his victims, seeing them as prostitutes

In a highly unusual move, Krischer convened a grand jury to consider criminal charges against Epstein. During the proceeding, sources told The Post , prosecutor Belohlavek questioned only two victims. Belohlavek then undermined her own witnesses.

Those victims, one a 14-year-old girl, stood up to a man who hobnobbed with the likes of former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton.

POST EXCLUSIVE: Never-before-seen Jeffrey Epstein biography surfaces

The grand jury indicted Epstein on only one charge — felony solicitation of prostitution, what a "john" would face propositioning an adult sex worker. The mysterious outcome did not address the fact that police say they found multiple incidents of sexual abuse of about two dozen young women and underage girls.

Palm Beach police thought the crimes were more extensive. They'd found five minors who were victims and whose accusations could prompt criminal charges, according to the law at the time. Seventeen witnesses, many of whom were 16 or 17 when Epstein abused them, could have backed up their stories, which were strikingly similar.

This survivor wanted documents released: Jeffrey Epstein victim goes public: ’I want to know why’

Charges recommended by police could have put Epstein in prison for decades. He ended up spending 13 months in jail and left six days a week, 12 hours a day, on work release.

The outcome of the grand jury proceeding and another prostitution charge that Epstein pleaded guilty to allowed him to traffic, rape and molest underage girls for 11 more years after he pleaded guilty. One victim's attorney estimates Epstein abused at least 500 victims.
