About Arrow

Arrow is a Feadship of firsts in various ways, not least the fact that this is the inaugural new-build superyacht commissioned by the owners. This striking 75-metre motoryacht is also the first Feadship to be drawn by Jonny Horsfield and his team at the H2 Yacht Design studio in London, which is a mighty fine way to celebrate 25 years in the business.

The result is a striking Feadship with a complex exterior featuring elegant sculpted elements and shapes. The intricate outdoor spaces include elaborately detailed premium furniture normally associated with an interior with back lit marble and varnished teak. The low glass railing accentuates the sleek lines of the yacht as a whole. High deck heights and expansive gangways make for an outstandingly spacious feel as you walk between areas such as the sun deck with its bespoke mosaic-lined jacuzzi and the sensational beach club aft with a truly unique bar area.

Step aboard ARROW and be transported to a world of indulgence and luxury. Stepping aboard her aft deck, guests are welcomed into a world of sleek sophistication and ultimate relaxation. Designed by H2, the interior and exterior spaces of ARROW raise the bar when it comes to luxurious superyachts.

Inside, the main salon features lavish lounge areas, with varnished teak and backlit marble creating a stunning ambiance. Guests can relax in the offset settees, while enjoying the panoramic views through the large windows. The formal dining area boasts a glass table that seats 12, and beyond that is a cinema area with surround sound.

ARROW can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a main deck master, a bridge deck VIP, and three further doubles and a twin cabin on the lower deck. Each stateroom is meticulously designed to provide ultimate comfort and style, with sumptuous linens and high-end finishes.

Up in the bridge deck sky lounge, guests can enjoy alfresco dining under the protection of retractable glass panels, or relax in the lounge area aft while taking in the breathtaking views through the infinity-view glass bulwarks. ARROW's exquisite sun deck is a standout feature, with its partially transparent Jacuzzi with sunpads forward, pizza oven and barbecue area, gym – which can be either open or enclosed – a cool sit-up bar and lots of lounging options, including C-shaped sofas aft with more infinity views.

However, ARROW's pièce de résistance is undoubtedly her full-beam beach club, which transforms into a sea-level evening entertaining lounge. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar, relax on the ample seating or indulge in a massage in the massage room and steam shower. And, during the day, the beach club is the perfect hub of activity for guests who want to try out the plethora of water toys or hop aboard one of the three tenders.

Charter guests can expect the highest levels of quality and service, while a glass elevator from the lower deck to the bridge deck makes it an ideal base for multigenerational charters. With stabilizers at anchor and underway, ARROW yacht assures a smooth charter, and guests will want for nothing aboard this magnificent vessel.

75m Feadship ARROW is packed with fun amenities, including a full-beam beach club that converts into a sea-level lounge in the evenings, an elevator, and a cinema with surround sound.

Launched in 2020, the ARROW motor yacht really raises the bar for multigenerational charters. Aside from her glass elevator that goes from the lower deck to the bridge, she’s got plenty of features to entertain everyone, from a massage room and bulging toy chest to a large sun deck with a gym, plus lots of space for lounging, and anchor stabilisers.

Interior Design & Engineering

The interior of the ARROW yacht is crafted by H2 Yacht Design. Thanks to glass bulwarks, her interior is flooded with light, and the main deck offers plenty of infinity views of the seascape.

12 guests are accommodated in six cabins during an Arrow yacht charter. The master lies forward on the main deck, with floor-to-ceiling windows on either side and an office. The ensuite bathroom includes a luxurious spa bathtub with his and hers sinks and showers. The rest of the party will sleep across a VIP suite, three doubles and two twins.

This luxury superyacht’s interior boasts a lavish lounge in the main salon that exhibits flourishes like varnished teak, backlit marble and curved seating. The dining room also seats 10 around a curved table for a more formal yet intimate setting.

Yacht facilities & Entertainment

One of the highlights of the ARROW yacht is her full-beam beach club. By day, it’s the perfect hub for enjoying her vast array of water toys. At night, it can be remodelled into a sea-level entertaining lounge. It’s also where you’ll find the steam shower and massage room for essential pampering.

Other popular facilities include her onboard cinema with surround sound and a plush sofa for viewing in maximum comfort, a bridge deck sky lounge that opens to the aft terrace seamlessly, and an expansive sun deck with a Jacuzzi, sun pads, pizza oven, barbecue area, sit-up bar and a gym that can be open or enclosed.

A crew of 19 will ensure your ARROW yacht charter lives up to your expectations.

There’s a plethora of water toys for you to enjoy. Speed fans will enjoy toys like Jet Skis, E-foils, waterskis, wakeboards, and the wing and foil board, while those who prefer a slower paddle will be able to jump on a SUP or kayak.

Young and big kids alike will get hours of fun from the towable inflatables and toys like the sea pool or water trampoline. And if you’re aching to explore the underwater world, there’s snorkelling and scuba diving gear available to you.

With three tenders, it’ll be easy to hop ashore. You can even take the two E-Mountain Bikes with you to venture off the beaten track.

The 75m (246') luxury motor yacht ARROW (Project 703) was built by the prestigious shipbuilder Feadship in the Netherlands. Her exterior and interior were developed by H2 Yacht Design led by Jonny Horsfield, while De Voogt Naval Architects worked on the yacht's naval architecture. M/Y ARROW was delivered in 2020 and accommodates up to 12 guests over six en-suite cabins, with a crew of 19 to ensure that everyone on board receives first-class service.

The ample lower deck swim platform connects with the beach club to make a large terrace beside the water. Two staircases join to the main deck aft, where there is a large social area of corner sofas and coffee tables for unwinding beneath the shade of the bridge deck overhang.

The bridge deck aft provide a large area for outdoor gatherings with sunbeds and curving seating along the stern that can be shaded by a canvas bimini. The foredeck has been left clear for a variety of uses, including outdoor exercise and use as a sunbathing and lounging space.

The sundeck is split into an aft section and forward section, with the former providing plenty of plush seating in the sunshine for large guest gatherings, with refreshments provided by the wet bar. The latter area is furnished with curving sofas and tables for casual alfresco dining from the barbeque grill. Two large sunbeds with a raised Jacuzzi in between fit into the forward section for guests to soak with sweeping views of the location.

The interiors by H2 Yacht Design are light, contemporary and refined, using a variety of textures and matte and gloss finishes. The beach club is one such space that guests will encounter when they step aboard, and within there is a wet bar with widescreen TV and plenty of plush white seating to rest out of the sun.

ARROW Specifications

Both the main deck salon combined with the formal dining area and the skylounge continue with the same styling, offering high quality entertainment and a layout for large groups and intimate conversations alike.

The sundeck interior contains the well-equipped gym and has warm honey tones and large windows down the length of both sides of the room. There is easy access forward and aft through glass sliding doors, and all decks are easily accessible using the lift (elevator).

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins (1 with extra pullman) and 1 twin cabin convertible to a double with the addition of a Pullman berth. ~ The Master suite is placed on the main deck forward to take advantage of the full beam, while the VIP stateroom is placed on the upper deck. The rest of the guest accommodation is on the lower deck. ~ The expert crew of 19 will provide first-class service to everyone on board.

Richly decorated in an architectural way which is entirely in tune with the exterior, more information on Arrow’s interior will be released at a later stage. What will never be seen but very soon be heard is the success of the unprecedented sound attenuation work that went into making this Feadship as quiet as possible, including the noise transmission between the living spaces.

Feadship celebrates launch of 75m Arrow

An emotional moment for first-time superyacht owner….

On Friday 10 January, Feadship hosted the official naming ceremony of its latest vessel. This is the first time that 75m Arrow has been seen with her lighting added and exterior outfitting complete.

The ceremony started with a speech from Henk de Vries thanking the owner. “While all Feadships are pure custom projects, there have been quite a number built recently around the 90-metre mark, considerably longer than the 60-metre spectrum that was more common a decade or two ago. At 75 metres, Arrow is right in the middle of this range and a trailblazer for a new and ground-breaking line of super-luxurious boats in this length. She is also an exceptional personal family yacht, quite possibly the best we have ever completed. Arrow  is the perfect way for Feadship to launch into a new decade with a cutting-edge design that is very much the face of this period of the 21st century.”

His first ever yacht purchase, the owner of Arrow stated that the launch is an emotional moment for him. “Although I had a ten-foot dingy as a child, this is actually my first real boat. I have, however, seen many other people’s superyachts in my life and have to say that Arrow is the most beautiful and amazingly executed of them all.

“Working together with Henk and the whole team at Feadship has been an absolute pleasure since the day we agreed the contract. The way everyone seamlessly cooperated to blend the exterior with the interior was an unrivalled experience for me. Having now seen the end result there is no doubt in my mind: the best car is a Rolls-Royce and the equivalent in the superyacht world is definitely a Feadship.”

According to data from The Superyacht Agency, Feadship currently has four more vessels due for delivery in 2020. Additionally, in support of Henk de Vries’ statement, when looking at the average LOA of yachts delivered since 2010, it is evident that Feadship is currently delivering larger yachts than in previous years

River Club rejuvenates Georgetown waterfront’s dining scene this summer with tableside spirit service, decadent decor from Beirut, and a meze-styled menu encapsulating the far-reaching flavors of Lebanon, Italy, and Spain ( 3000 K Street NW ).

River Club’s co-founders Farid Azouri and David Nammour already know what they’re doing. They have ownership ties to Residents Cafe and Bar , Dupont’s established Mediterranean hot spot with Michelin Bib Gourmand credentials and one of the best espresso martinis in the city.

For the duo’s latest Northwest D.C. venture, small plates, grilled skewers, and family-style mains find a home at the iconic roundabout into Georgetown Harbor. “We decided we wanted to do a meze restaurant — me and Farid are Lebanese and familiar with Italian and Mediterranean cuisine,” says Nammour.

Terracotta-toned walls, palm-printed plush seating, glassy light sconces, and vegetative wallpaper set the scene for a transportive meal courtesy of executive chef Nate Berry. The alum Michelin-starred Plume inside the Jefferson hotel also runs the kitchen at Residents.

Moss-green suede menus open up to dishes and drinks distinct to each country. Instead of presenting a mashup of all three on one plate or in a glass, River Club reserves sections for each.

“We’re trying to stay authentic — these aren’t fusion dishes of the three cuisines. Each comes from the specific region,” says Berry. “We sat down and cooked a whole lot of food, then narrowed that down to the best of the Mediterranean.”

Final cuts include gambas al ajillo and pan con tomate, wagyu beef carpaccio, croquetas, skewered beef tenderloin, fish loin, or lamb belly, and lobster paella. Berry says his “for the table” section his personal favorite; two- to four-tops can pick from a rack of “fall-off-the-bone” smoked lamb ribs with whipped hummus and labneh; branzino prepared the pan-seared Spanish way; or whole roasted Green Circle chicken like the one nonna used to make, served with confit potatoes and asparagus.

The 3,400-square-foot space is utterly unrecognizable from its former life as dumpling standby Bangkok Joe’s. Nearly every design detail was sourced 6,000 miles away in Beirut, which in turn helped support the Lebanese capital’s manufacturing and artisan economy. A curious toucan comprised of lacquered wicker peeks into a soaring dining room, where a retro-styled stained glass ceiling joins a shimmering tiled floor made of mother of pearl. Upon entry, luxe lampshades lined with tassels hover over a bar that used to be located in the back.

“With Residents being very cocktail-centric, we wanted to showcase the bar as soon as you walk in,” says Azouri. The 140-seat space also includes a 34-seat terrace dotted with pretty pink umbrellas. To start, River Club swings open at 4 p.m. until late (midnight on weekends) and brunch will join the mix soon.

Drinks also follow the food’s lead, and each country is honored with two cocktails apiece. Arak, the popular anise-flavored Middle Eastern spirit, joins blueberry-infused cognac, blueberry, lemon, and salted sage crisp; a seasonal negroni speaks to Italy; and a gin-and-tonic shows love for Spain. Director of operations and Farmers Restaurant Group alum Jon Arroyo oversees the bar.

River Club’s pink beverage book highlights three separate spirits for tableside service: arak (Lebanon), amaro (Italy), and vermouth (Spain). River Club’s namesake martini also gets the tableside treatment, assembled with Vusa vodka, capano bianco, fino sherry, lemon zest, olives, and pickled fennel components. River Club pays homage to the 1990s nightclub of the same name that Nammour’s dad ran a few blocks away.

“The space itself was beautiful — it felt like we were in a different realm of old-school Georgetown,” says Arroyo. “We really wanted to focus on service for this space and everything that encapsulates it.”

A soundproofed redesign includes a high-tech sound system dedicated to funk, soul, and groovy playlists (think everything from Stevie Wonder to Arabic music). There’s no house mixes, however; that’s Residents’ territory. And whereas Residents’ crowd-pleasing espresso martinis are made with ghee, River Club opens with its own promising pick-me-up that leans Italian via affogato gelato and rich pistachio oil.
