Very well set up for marina living, slipping and . Also recommend the galvanising people in Bundy. We sail on the first and third Tuesday of each month, weather permitting from 9:30am until 1pm. Our venue is Causeway Lake at Mulambin, Yeppoon. We offer Hobie Cat sailing and Hansa 303 sailing as well as pontoon boat "Percy". There is something for everyone. Bookings are made through www.trybooking.com. The benefits of sailing for those with disability Sailing offers many valuable benefits for the disabled, going beyond physical limitations to provide freedom and empowerment. It fosters a sense of independence, allowing individuals to navigate the waters and conquer challenges. Socially, sailing communities offer friendship and support, fostering a sense of belonging and reducing isolation. The serene water environment offers relaxation and stress relief. Additionally, sailing encourages problem-solving and adaptability, boosting confidence and resilience. Ultimately, it's a transformative experience, empowering individuals to explore the world and redefine their capabilities beyond disability. what you can do Participate. A typical sail for our participants lasts 20-30 minutes. Depending on your ability level, there are several sailing boat styles to choose from as well as our pontoon boat "Percy" for those less able or wheelchair dependent.
