All the money they charge they can't even fix the pot holes !! Unacceptable!!! I was told by the maintenance man because of the hurricane they are slow in fixing the deep holes. Are you kidding me ?? The hurricane was 2 weeks ago !! These deep potholes throughout the entire complex have been there all summer !! If I was a resident there I would refuse to pay my rent until they fixed the holes. I'm just a visitor n find this unacceptable!!!

"Luxury" living at its finest! For over $2,000/mos , which is considered competitive pricing, you can have: huge pot holes throughout the community, slamming of doors all hours of the day and night, trash everywhere, shitty appliances that take months to fix, "amenities"that are out of order more than they are working, maintenance staff who do not know how to fix anything, and valet trash service you pay $25 a month for that 9/10 times don't take your trash. Do not worry though because this place is under new management so you can rest assure that your rent WILL increase another 30-40% every year you renew. This is definitely called valuing your tenants!

This place has really gone to shit. The photos will tell most of the story. Recently they raised the rent over $300/mos. So now the rent is over $2000/mos. Dishwasher doesn't work. I've had a work order in for over 5 mos to fix it. Our ceiling fan stopped working. We bought our own washer and dryer because maintenance takes forever to fix things. These are considered" luxury apartments". What a joke. Not worth it. For the price you can live in a much nicer complex.

This place is a DUMP! They nickel and dime you then raise your rent astronomically after you've been living here for years. My rent went up 3% last year and this year it increased 30%. My son lives in a much nicer community for less and they have real wood cupboards, wood flooring, and the property is immaculate. Don't take my word for it just Come tour the grounds and see what you can't afford. I've seen nicer places in the hood. It's sad because it used to be a very nice place to live years ago.

My experience with Stephanie from beginning to end was amazing. I was searching for a new place to live for months. I looked at a lot of places and for me this place you got more bang for your buck. I shared with Stephanie concerns about carpet and stains and she made sure that my new apt had new carpet in the bedrooms. The location too is awesome. Before Yacht club I moved into brand new apartments that were 3 years old and believe there were issues as well. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience from beginning to end.

I love living at this apartment complex, everyone is friendly and I have no problems with my living situation. Gabby at the front desk is especially helpful and put all our needs and priorities first! She always greets us with a warm and welcoming smile. Me and my roommates are very pleased!

Our experience here has been less than pleasant since first arriving, and is nothing like the "luxury apartments" which are advertised. We signed a lease sight unseen and carefully read reviews, which I now know get deleted on some sights if not favorable. We arrived to our apartment clearly not being cleaned from the toilet being dark grey inside to the counter tops being covered in filth. Our carpets were "cleaned" and all the dirt resurfaced after a month, baseboards are deteriorating in big chunks throughout, the laminate on countertops is peeling, the appliances are crap (dishwasher doesn't clean), and the plumbing is awful. For the hefty price of $2615/month for a 2 bed I expected WAY more. A few days into our lease the toilet valve broke while we weren't home and flooded part of our apartment. Then a couple days later our a/c went down. At that time we were told there were over 200 open work orders because of staffing issues. I was clearly upset at that point and contacted our assistant manager. She forwarded the emails to our acting manager, since we didn't have one on site at the time. I called, emailed, and went in office with no response. Our "security" gates were broken for 3 months, the restrooms at the pool are usually so gross that my 6 year old won't use them, the pool pump hardly runs, the parks onsite are run down, and the trash compactor area is left a mess on weekends causing raccoons. Also, beware of 1st floor as there are 9 a/c units out of my master window, which make it VERY noisy to sleep. I believe at one time this was a beautiful property, but it is no longer because it isn't maintained. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Hopefully, the new manager can turn it around from the mess it currently is.

If this is all you can afford don't bother reading further. If you are deciding between saving some money and living here or living somewhere else; read on. Decide for yourself if this is worth saving your money. I've lived at the Yacht Club for 3 years. It was decent to start and slowly declined as I lived there longer. I was a student and it wasn't worth moving out to be leaving the city within the next couple years. So here is my experience..... -staff is subpar. They've been through 3 managers since i lived there. Front office staff has slowly declined to now just incompetence. -maintenance is bizarre. Sometimes they'll come immediately. Other times it will be weeks. Head Maintenance guy lost a key ring that had either our key or the master for our building on it but didn't want to tell the manager. So we didn't get any maintenance done if we weren't home to open the door for a long time. Nonetheless knowing that a key was floating around was extremely bothersome. -dog park is a glorified fenced in dirt patch. Barely any grass, your dog will leave covered in weeds and the smell of other dogs poop. Fence has had holes in it that they avoid repairing. -kids play area always has something broken with caution tape strung up. Liability waiting to happen -kids bikes/toys are ditched everywhere. Even saw two bikes in the pond -most people take care of their dogs. However, there are a number of families that allow their children to walk their dog that shouldn't be. The dog is way too big for them to control and when they poo they never pick it up. -landscaping staff are great guys. They work hard and always do what they are hired for. But you can tell the complex does not put their money into this. Where mulch is supposed to be in the flower beds is just dirt and there are more dead patches than grass. When there is grass it is overgrown. The ponds are always disgusting. They have a lot of overgrowth and never look kept up. -when pest control for the grounds come they never tell you. You won't know when to watch your dog or kids because by the time you walk far enough to see the two mini signs put out they've already rolled around in the chemicals. -they care zero about safety. A tenant cracked a concrete step moving out. Complex wouldn't fix it, for months, until a UPS driver almost busted his face tripping on it. There was a shooting in the complex right before rent was raised. I contacted the office about how they were going to ensure safety and help avoid a situation like this again. Even spoke with the regional manager. They flat out said if you look in your lease you'll see that safety is not our problem or responsibility. They did not do anything expect keep the gates shut all day instead of only at night. And the gates break every other day so yeah very "safe". -raccoons were a problem for awhile due to the outdoor trash bins. They refused to pay for raccoon traps or utilize animal control measures. -rent will be raised every time you renew. Don't kid yourself on that. -pool will have delinquents there every night even though it's "closed" -pool will be "broken" every other weekend. AKA the county health department deemed in unfit for use -did a large pool maintenance project that started in the summer and ended in October for what was told to be less than a month long project. Was told to "enjoy the pool" even though it was closed during the time of year when anyone would even use it -they'll tell you they don't allow commercial vehicles but there are always commercial vehicles parked overnight -there's a car that's been parked and hasn't moved the whole time I've lived there (3 years) and other cars held together with duct tape -I lived on the third floor. Our roof leaked FOUR different times in the same spots. All they ever did was paint over the spots and say they had the roof "fixed". Obviously not when the leaks continue to happen. When hurricane Irma came one of our leaks was active and they did not care to ensure the roof was intact before the storm came. They will not board up any windows or do anything to avoid storm damage. -Found another resident passed out from a drug overdose in the parking lot -the amount of times I saw a person walk down from their building to a parked car by the front circle to walk right back to their building looked extremely reminiscent of "recreational" activity dealing -Strong scent of pot especially at night around the buildings -Always be aware of what you're paying. The staff does not seem to know simple math to ensure correct bills or charges. -they'll avoid emails that they don't want to respond to or will call back to emails so that conversations aren't in writing All in all, I would not live here again. I couldn't wait to get out of here. If you need a cheap, sub-par place to live look no further. If you have higher expectations move on.

I was a resident for a year and a half and I'd rent there again primarily because of the utmost service, and professionalism displayed by Gabrielle (Gabby) Felix!! She truly and sincerely cares for everyone there and ALWAYS went above and beyond normal call of duties and did so with a smile! It's because of her that I rate the Yacht Club a 5 Star residence!! There are newer complexes nearby but I'd come back to the Yacht solely because of my experience with Gabby!! She's a rock star and the Yacht Club is lucky to have her!!
