Byron Shirley grew up with sailboats , both in his native France , but also in the Caribbean and on the West Coast of the US . Along with having enjoyed living aboard a Gulfstar 44 and a custom 76 footer, he has been boating, racing, and doing deliveries.

Finally he followed that natural path into the boating business . A yacht broker since 2010, he’s worked for Beneteau sailboat and powerboat dealerships and sold over a hundred brokerage boats.

As a resident of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest since 2014, Byron has learned what it takes to boat in this beautiful boating region. He wants to help clients find what boats are going to be better fits for them than others, to steer you through some of the potential benefits and pitfalls of certain boat layouts and designs. The best experience is one where his clients experience minimal surprises during the sales process and their boat ownership, are able to negotiate a fair and balanced deal: The right boat, at the right price.

Andrew  is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker with 35 years of experience in the marine business. During his 6 years at Selene Seattle, Andrew was the top sales agent on the West Coast for new and brokerage Selene Trawlers.

He has been a yacht broker for the past 27 years, assisting clients in the sales of power and sailing yachts, while representing Hallberg-Rassy, Pacific Seacraft, Hampton Yachts and Selene. Previously, Andrew worked for West Coast Yachts, Seacraft Yacht Sales, Adventure Yachts and Selene Seattle.

Susan Bilginer, Office Manager

Susan was born and raised in Cheshire, Nr Liverpool, England, UK and moved to the US in 2015 with her Husband and family.  Susan previously lived in Turkey, California and Florida and moved to Seattle in 2022 to be closer to family.   Her love for boating began at an early age due to her Father being a Marine Engineer and owning several boats. During many summer months, days were spent on the rivers and canals of Britain with family and friends.

Susan’s Marketing and Administration career spans across many years and several industries in the UK (London) including Telecommunications, Banking, Publishing and Leisure. Whilst working for some of the largest Global Corporate industries as Head of and Senior Management, Susan has gained mass experience within Marketing, HR, Web Design, Administration, Finance and several other areas.

In Susan’s spare time she likes to spend time cooking, creating new recipes with her Executive Chef Husband, hiking, swimming and spending time discovering the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Ben Rhoades, Service Manager

Ben is the Service Manager at Ocean Pacific Yachts and has decades of experience in the marine industry. He is an expert at yacht service and maintenance and can fix almost any issue, including engine repairs, engine replacements, electrical systems, navigation systems, bottom painting, and haulouts of boats large and small. He has worked on a wide variety of motor yachts, including hybrid yachts, and holds several industry certifications. Alla Botvina, Yacht Broker

Alla Botvina came to the United States in 1993 from Tores, Ukraine. She studied business management at Lynn University, but her love for the ocean led her to enter work in the yachting industry as a professional crew member.

Starting out as a deckhand in a male-dominated position, she performed every aspect of yacht maintenance. From scrubbing decks to cleaning bilges, her hard work and determination to succeed made her stand out as a yacht crew elite. Moving up the rank to a Bosun, she managed the deck crew and upkept the yacht to the highest standards. Whether she was crossing the Atlantic or doing yard periods at a shipyard, her hard work ethic and knowledge made her an expert in maintaining large vessels.
