This name was given to all sorts of combined paranormal events, such as strange loud noises with no apparent source, telekinetic movements or strong fluctuations of the electromagnetic field . After some time, scientists found out that these strange events often appeared near a certain type of sensible persons. Several of them were chosen to take part in a top-secret experiment, where the researchers injected them with a special substance to stimulate paranormal events . Some claimed, that after receiving this stimulant, the “specimens” were able to somehow connect our world with its paranormal counterpart and thus gained special abilities at the cost of their own sanity . The goal of the “Project Poltergeist” was to exploit this knowledge for military purposes.

However, in the secret research facility located somewhere in Prague, things started to get out of hands. For some reason, the entire project was prematurely terminated. Soon, it became obvious that nobody made it out of the facility alive, but the government just claimed that nothing like “Poltergeist facility” ever existed in the first place. For many years, nobody could be sure this whole project was not just another urban legend. Just until a strange walled-up iron door was found…

Yes, it is highly recommended. You can easily create a reservation in the calendar below. Choose your ideal day and time, fill in your contact information and you are in. No payment upfront is required, you will pay when you arrive (Cash or Card).

Maximum of 5 victims can go in one group at one time. If your group is larger, you need to book several time slots. Each group will take about 45 minutes so there will be some waiting time. As an experienced player, I'm always looking for the wow-effect in a room. The buzz that will keep you talking about a room later and enjoying bringing back memories about a room years after playing. We have played both Medieval Dungeon and Haunted house and I will review both, but since they were both awesome, I'll keep to one review. In general the lobby looks stylish. I think the first receival could be more enthusiastic. We were 15m early for our first game and were sent away, too bad the lobby cannot accomodate a few groups. No drinking and chatting up afterwards either, but I would advice to go to the lovely Italian restaurant around the corner for that. We started off with the Medieval Dungeon. The initial introduction was a bit unengaging, but then the Gamemaster took over and sucked us right into the game. Jakob did an excellent job in scaring the hell out of us, but with a lot of jokes and proper care for his guests safety. The room itself looks perfect. Aside from the mandatory safety measures, this IS a medieval dungeon. All puzzles fit the atmosphere perfectly and are cleverly designer. There is a lot to do, so there was never a moment where a player was lost. I loved the hint system, which also fit the theme. A world class experience and all I could ask for in an escape game. The next game was the Haunted house (the first one, for some reason they named the second room with this theme Haunted house II, which is somewhat confusing). We got our intro from Annie, who happily skipped the basics for us experienced players and gave us the backstory for the room. I wouldn't mind seeing a video in this case a a start, it would fit the rest of the room better. We were dropped of in a small corridor across the alley and the game was on. This room is way different than the Medieval Dungeon but also brilliantly crafted to give a feel of a horror movie. The atmosphere is very creepy and the attention to details is amazing. The special effects really are cinematographic. The room is not so much about testing your puzzle skills but more about telling a story, and doing a great job at it. So, beside from the entree the experience was perfect and I would highly recommend both rooms to any group of 4.

Each game has a different level of difficulty, different kinds of riddles and a different story. Nevertheless, all games have one thing in common. You have to solve the problem, save the world and escape! 

How to escape from the top activity in Prague?

As we have already mentioned, The Chamber offers six kinds of escape games. Your team consists of 2-6 players. You have exactly one hour to find your way out. During your time in the room, you will have to unravel some mysteries, find hidden doors and just use logical thinking. 

If you don’t speak Czech, please give us this information while making a reservation. The games are language independent. For people speaking foreign languages (other than the Czech language), the text on the letters is written in easy English.
