We are a bunch of yachties, young and not-so-young, novices and experienced, women and men, who don’t just share a common passion of boating. We are a Club which has proudly built our membership by engaging with our members: we get together for social races and cruises, enjoy good fun and comradeship at our monthly member social nights, share support and knowledge with each other, and celebrate and participate in community events.
Set in the magical Whitsundays with the backdrop of turquoise seas and 74 tropical islands, this is Australia’s most boated region. Abell Point Yacht Club caters for both sail and power vessels and serves to celebrate the joys of yachting in our region, and beyond. Abell Point Yacht Club Abell Point Yacht Club (Cruising)
The Club’s members get together for a social evening usually on the first Tuesday of the month from February to December each year (date may be adjusted around Easter Holidays if necessary, and we don’t hold a meeting the month of the Coral Coast Rally). Our meetings are held at the Ocean Club, set within the picturesque Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach. We have open air facilities, a bbq and comfortable seating with views overlooking the marina. We invite you to attend and enjoy a casual feed and drink, and we often have an interesting guest speaker. Our committee members attend these meetings and are available to hear your comments and answer any questions you may have.

The Abell Point Yacht Club
Abell Point Yacht Club (APYC) may be a long-been established group in the Whitsundays, but in recent times, it has undergone a bit of a makeover and taken on a new direction as a united group. Deciding to branch out and include power boats within their fleet of usual sailors has become a new feature of the club, increasing membership and branching out to the wider boating community.
With a new committee onboard and with a focus on fellowship, the club has organised upcoming events to reflect its historical racing program, which includes the historical Coral Coast Rally and Warri Cup. The club will now run other casual events for members such as beer and burger nights, marina barbecue as well as a Whitehaven Beach white in night and a Knuckle Reef Cocktail Function.
The Abell Point Yacht Club is a separate club to the Whitsunday Sailing Club.

Cruise French Polynesia with Abell Point Yacht Club

Abell Point Yacht Club (APYC) in conjunction with Dream Yacht Charters is bringing yacht club members the opportunity to experience the stunning cruising ground of French Polynesia, as part of the clubs June 2017 Polynesian Adventure.
Join a group of like-minded people, book a cabin and sit back and enjoy this unique experience. All vessels are fully provisioned with an onboard hostess to prepare an array of delicious meals and manage the galley. You just need to sit back and enjoy the sailing as you cruise around the islands and atolls of French Polynesian. The lead vessel has a local skipper onboard to guide the cruise and ensure the cruise runs smoothly.
With a skipper on the lead vessel this opportunity is a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed. With this unique bareboat package offer, there is not the hassle of relocating your own boat to these cruising grounds, simply book your flights to the charter start base at Raiatea, pack your suitcase and sit back and enjoy a relaxing holiday on the water.
Included in the charter is: • Full board – all meals including soft drinks (alcohol to be provided by the guests) • Hostess – one per vessel to prepare and serve an array of delicious meals • Damage Waive/ Security Bond • Fuel • Skipper – on lead vessel. All vessels in the Polynesian adventure will be cruising together and mooring up as a group on a nightly basis.
Flights are not included.

Round The Molles Yacht Race
The Abell Point Yacht Club in Airlie Beach in conjunction with the Whitsunday Sailing Club is hosting a brand-new yacht race on Sunday 18 June 2023.
With only a couple of weeks left to enter, this race will see participants racing around the four Molle Islands of West Molle (Day Dream Island), South Molle, Middle Molle and North Molle.
There will be three divisions - Multihulls, Monohulls with Spinnakers and Monohulls without Spinnakers.
The race will be altered depending on the weather of the day.
For entry forms, notice of race and sailing instructions go to abellpointyc.com.au and click on Round the Molles Race in the events page or follow the Abell Point Yacht Club on their Face Book page.
Presentations will be held after the race from 5.30pm onwards at the Whitsunday Sailing Club.

In conjunction with the launch of the revitalised Abell Point Marina brand, the marina has announced it will throw support behind the Abell Point Yacht Club (APYC) as part of the vision to create a destination marina.
The Abell Point Yacht Club's 2023 Coral Coast Rally was a resounding success with 12 yachts and 35 people sailing through the start line off Sorrento's Restaurant and heading off for the first night's anchorage outside Cape Gloucester Beach Resort. The next morning the fleet was up early and headed further north to Cape Upstart.

REVIEWS. The Apelsin Hotel in Elektrostal near Moscow is a relatively new Hotel (opend in 2013) Due to the stay from winter to summer i can claim that the rooms are nicely warm in winter and with own (quite) AC are... Good hotel overall. Pleasant staff. But there is no desk in standard rooms.
