About Luxury yacht Lex

LEX is a 26-meter Maiora that was constructed in 2007 and last renovated in 2018. The owners of LEX, who are avid art collectors, have adorned the interior with works by well-known Spanish painters, giving LEX a personality that few yachts of her size can match. Furthermore, while being a yacht of less than 30 meters in length, the service offered is comparable to that of a yacht of more than 40 meters, with attention to the tiniest detail.

The LEX can accommodate ten people in four cabins, each with its own bathroom. The master cabin has a comfortable double bed, a TV, a large bathroom, and an office area for any business things that need to be handled while on vacation. The VIP cabin features a double bed as well as a television. The two twin rooms include an additional Pullman bed to accommodate 10 guests and may be changed to double bed cabins, which is excellent for visitors that want three cabins with double beds rather than the customary two. The LEX superyacht's crew consists of four experts who provide exceptional service on board.

LEX has a classic and friendly ambience with a stylish and modern decor. Crisp white soft furniture, rich chocolate brown wood flooring, warm wood paneling, and delicate cream headlining characterize the salon and dining areas, which are open concept. Side windows provide lots of natural light while still providing excellent vistas. The formal dining room, which is located at the front, seats guests in elegance and grandeur. 

In the saloon and cabins, LEX has a TV and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. It is able to listen to your iPhone's music on board thanks to its streaming music technology. A modest cellar with excellent Spanish wines, as well as a variety of cigars, are accessible to clients on this superyacht. 

There are a lot of toys, so you won't get bored. The three-person jet ski, an electric surfboard, and two Seabob F5S units, the most exciting watercraft on the market, are among the highlights.

LEX , previously named Melody Maker , is a 2006 custom built 24 m yacht by Maiora with an extensive refit in 2015. 

LEX is a beautifully decorated yacht based in Ibiza. Lex's stunning timeless interior is also present in her 4 staterooms that accommodates up to 9 guests: one master cabin, one VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins,  with one pullman bed, all equipped with TV, DVD and audio system.  LEX has a crew of three members that will ensure a quality charter experience:  Captain Joaquim Batlle, cook and stewardess. 

With a cruising speed of 23 knots, a maximum speed of 28 knots and a range of 525nm from her 10000 fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.

The entertainment facilities in LEX includes  Waverunner,  Jet-Ski,  Doughnut,  Wake Board,  Water-Ski,  Paddleboard, Snorkelling Equipment - ideal for kids and adults.

Guest Accommodation

Lex is great for families thanks to her child-friendly setup. She offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests with a layout comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin and two twin cabins. There are 8 beds in total, including 1 queen, 1 double, 4 singles and 2 pullmans. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Lex benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as air conditioning to keep your comfortable throughout your charter.

Performance & Range

Lex is built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 20 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 28 knots with a range of up to 525 nautical miles from her 10,000 litre fuel tanks. Her low draft of 1.6m/5'3" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines.

Lex has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Guests can experience the thrill and adventure of riding one of the WaveRunners. Another excellent feature are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are two F5S SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and see a variety of aquatic sea life. If that isn't enough Lex also features wakeboards, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. When it's time to travel from land to see, it couldn't be easier with a 3.85m/12'8" Williams Tender.

Great lovers of art, the owners of LEX have personalized the interior with great works of important Spanish artists, giving LEX a personality that few yachts of her length possess. In addition, it is worth noting the service provided on board, which despite being a yacht less than 30 meters in length, the service provided is like a yacht of more than 40, attending to the smallest detail. If we had to define the experience on LEX  it would be like a stay in a Relais & Châteaux.

DESTINATIONS

The superyacht LEX is available for charter all year round on the island of Ibiza, moored in the best area of one of the most prestigious marinas on the island,  Marina Botafoc . From Ibiza, you can cruise to Palma de Mallorca in only 4 hours and with a longer crossing, to the virgin island of Menorca.

ACCOMMODATION & DECK AREAS

LEX has a capacity for 10 guests in four ensuite staterooms. The master cabin offers a comfortable double bed, TV, a very generous bathroom, and an office area for any business matters to be carried out during the holidays. The VIP cabin has a double bed and TV. The two twin cabins offer an extra Pullman bed to accommodate 10 guests and can be converted to double bed cabins, which is ideal for those guests who need three cabins with a double bed instead of the usual two. The crew of the LEX superyacht has 4 professionals who offer an unforgettable service on board.

PERFORMANCE

The perfect combination of performance and luxury is found in LEX . With a cruising speed of 20 knots and a top speed of 24 knots, the LEX superyacht allows you to sail between the Balearic Islands in great comfort.

EQUIPMENT & FACILITIES

LEX is equipped with a TV and a  Bang & Olufsen sound system in saloon and cabins. Thanks to its streaming music system, it is possible to listen to the music of your iPhone on board. Side decks lead forward to the foredeck and a large double sunpad.

LEX Specifications

Charter guests wishing to make the most of the azure waters, will find the extended swim platform ideal for effortless water access. LEX’s upper flybridge deck features a further alfresco dining option, spacious sunpad, BBQ service station and partial shade.

The LEX motor yacht is powered by 2 x MTU 1550hp engines, she is capable of cruising at 23 knots and reaches top speeds of 28 knots.

Spanish crewed charter yacht LEX can accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 en-suite cabins on the lower deck. The master stateroom is amidships and full beam of the yacht, with a center lined queen size bed and love seat. The VIP cabin is forward and full beam of the yacht, with a center lined double bed. Two guest cabins each have side by side twin beds, both with an upper Pullman berth, for one additional guest. M/Y LEX is fully air conditioned throughout, for optimum comfort.

Charter fee includes:   ✓  Hire and insurance of the yacht with all its equipment.  ✓  Crew.   ✓   Homeport berth.

A.P.A (Advanced Provisioning Allowance):  The Charterer will be charged for all expenses corresponding to fuel, berthing costs outside homeport, food and beverages and any other particular services that you may request. With the purpose of covering these costs, we will require an advanced provisioning allowance (A.P.A) which is 15% – 30% of the charter fee. At the end of the charter, and during if requested, the captain will produce full accounts of all expenditure either with a refund of monies not spent or a request for payment if the APA was exceeded.

Taxes:  The Charter fee will be subjected to taxes depending on the cruising area, in Spain this is 21%.

Lex is a luxury 26 Meters charter motor yacht built by the prestigious Italian shipyard Maiora in 2006, refit in 2018. Luxury yacht Lex offers accommodation for up to 9 charter guests, in 4 en-suite cabins: the Master Stateroom with Queen Size Bed is amidships and full beam of the yacht, the VIP cabin with double bed is forward. Two guest cabins both with an upper Pullman berth, for one additional guest.

Lex charter motor yacht features chic and modern interiors, with a timeless and welcoming ambience. The salon and dining is an open plan, offering white soft furnishings, dark wood floors, warm wood panels and pale cream headlining. Side windows infuse the space with plenty of natural light, while offering spectacular views. Forward, the formal dining area seats guests in elegance and style. Lex is fully air conditioned throughout, for optimum comfort. Exterior living on Lex is on 2 decks and boasts ample areas to entertain and relax. Adjacent to the salon through sliding glass doors, is a magnificent large teak table for the perfect alfresco dining experience, along with plenty seating and shade. Side decks lead forward to the foredeck and a large double sunpad.

Rates and Conditions: 

Lex charter motor yacht weekly rates MYBA, WMT (Spanish VAT 21% applicable): July/August € 55.000; other months € 46.000. Rates include: yacht’s hire, crew, yacht’s insurance, yacht’s laundry fees, BERTHING FEES IN MARINA IBIZA. Rates do not include: guests’ food and beverage, fuel for the yacht and the tander(s), personal communications costs (internet, fax, if available onboard), personal laundry fees.

N.B.: Lex offers berthing fees paid in the prestigious Marina Ibiza.

Built by Maiora in 2007 and refit extensively in 2015, Lex is in immaculate condition. Her friendly and professional crew of 3 maintain her to a great standard. The captain is highly experienced, and is supported by a stewardess and highly-skilled chef. This amazing team is ready to welcome you on-board this yacht rental Palma!

Interior and exterior living space is generous. The aft deck is the perfect place to dine. With a large table to welcome up to 9 guests, enjoy the fine cuisine of your chef in comfort here. Forward, you will find a large sun-lounger. One of her highlights is her flybridge. Great sun-bathing space and some welcome shade can be enjoyed. There is also a flybridge TV. A great space for entertaining or soaking in the warm Summer sun.

On the main deck, there is a large saloon. Sofas and AV equipment make this a great place to relax. A Bang & Olufsen sound-system is also found here. A large dining area is found forward. Large windows bathe this space in natural light.
