THE SPEED-ENTHUSIAST’S PURE ALUMINUM COMPANION

Eagle BRX in pure aluminum is the choice for you, who appreciate ease of use, durability, comfort and versatility. Behind the wide windshield both driver and co-driver sit in fully padded Offshore seats, and if necessary, two more comfort seats can be fitted on the open stern area - still leaving plenty of space for moving around the boat and fully taking advantage of the fixed stern bench and the two aluminum foldable flap seats in the aft. The bow has been designed to function well both in daily use and when you are out fishing. 

The hull for Eagle BR, the popular Silver model which was introduced coming into season 2016, provides the base for our Silver Eagle BRX model. The X stands for pure aluminum, meaning that pretty much everything in the Eagle BRX model is made out of aluminum except for the steering consoles, which for ergonomic reasons are partly out of fiberglass. In addition to the durable aluminum hull, the inner sides, the storage units, the floor/deck, stern bench and stern folding flap seats are out of marine aluminum. Sturdy 30 mm thick aluminum railings increase the feeling of security onboard and make it easier to attach e.g. fishing equipment to the boat. 

Behind the sizeable windshield the driver and co-pilot travel comfortably in fully-padded Offshore seats. The windshield in itself is out of hardened glass, and thus mounting of windshield wipers is possible. The driver’s windshield wiper is fitted as standard. In-between the two steering consoles stands a two-part door, which improves wind shelter for passengers sitting in the back. 

The stern has been fitted with a fixed, centrally placed stern bench with a foldable aluminum flap seat on either side of the bench. Together with the two flap seats and the sizeable aluminum swimming platforms the bench transforms into a cohesive flat surface suited for e.g. spin fishing. The open stern area is so spacious, that it can even fit two additional comfort seats (similar to the co-driver’s seat); one seat behind the driver and one behind the co-driver. Thus up to four persons can travel extremely comfortable sheltered behind the windshield. The additional seats are available at an extra cost.

The bow deck encompasses a clear walkway and large storage spaces for your belongings. The walkway is, however, possible to cover with a separate aluminium plate construction (separate cost applies) - this solution has been developed in order for the bow deck to work better for e.g. spin fishing enthusiasts. Of course it can also be utilized as a sunbed, adding a mattress (add-on accessory).

As with the popular 2016 Eagle BR model, an outboard engine of up to 150 hp can be fitted on the stern transom of the Eagle BRX. The durable design, together with the possibility of a powerful outboard engine, makes Eagle BRX a great choice for the boater who is looking for speed and excitement, without having to compromise on neither safety nor great drivability. The fenomenal hull design makes the driving experience pleasant, in all speeds.

Everything necessary as standard

Eagle BRX is the complete package for the active boater. The novelty comes with a standardly fitted 9-inch Raymarine Axiom-chartplotter (as of MY2012 an Axiom+ screen), which serves the user both in navigation, fishing and recreational purposes. The multifunction display supports the general sea chart formats C-Map, Navionics and Lighthouse, and it has built-in Wifi and Bluetooth. The Wifi connection makes screen updates easy and effortless and it even makes it possible to share the screen view with your tablet/mobile phone. The Raymarine Axiom -chartplotter has a standardly fitted echo sounder, which helps give you a clearer picture of what is happening underneath the surface. A NMEA network is also included as standard, which i.e. facilitates installation of additional electronics or equipment, and makes sure that your outboard engine and chartplotter discusses seamlessly. The driver gets realtime information concerning important engine data such as speed, water depth, engine RPM and trim tab angles. The screen view is of course extremely easy to adapt, so that you see exactly the information you need at any given time.

The door between the consoles, the driver’s windshield wiper and foot rest, the fixed centrally placed stern bench, the two foldable flap seats in the stern, as well as the strong 30mm aluminium railings are included in the standard pack. See all standard equipements in the menu below.

I have been a licensed funeral director for over 30 years and have been involved with many types of services. When it comes to a memorial service at sea I never think twice about contacting Paradise Bound Yacht Charters. Captain Alex and Marlene are professional at providing a loving caring tribute experience for your loved one and the family.

Had to follow a friends wishes and have his ashes taken to the ocean. Did not know who to call till I found Captain Alex on the internet. I have to say he was very professional and made this very difficult task very easy . He was waiting at the dock to greet us took us out to sea and made this experience very easy for my son and i. Captain Alex and First Mate Marlene were truly wonderful hosts. Yesterday, we had a send-off for our mother. The whole experience was incredibly cathartic for all of us. The sea was calm. It felt like we were in a whole different world for 2 solid hours. It was a chance for each of us to have the ocean and wind blow away all of our grief and troubles and just let her go. Seeing the flowers on the water was simply magical. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Captain Alex and First Mate Marlene were so kind and helpful. The horn was an amazing touch as well. What a memorable experience we had sailing with Captain Alex and his lovely wife Marlene on the Silver Eagle. We departed from the marina and sailed north, hitting Malibu before we headed back. The boat was beautiful and well-kept. Quite spacious for a group of 6. There were refreshments available to us and we brought some snacks as well. My boyfriend was super excited to take his first sailing lesson. Not only is Captain Alex a terrific sailor and former Navy Captain, he also plays the trumpet like a boss and will entertain you for hours with his stories. We are thinking about going out on one of his larger charters with a bigger group. There are so many deals and options for various group sizes. I highly recommend Paradise Bound Yacht Charters to anyone!

Captain Alex is simply the best!

Captain Alex and Marlene were very hospitable and gracious hosts. It was our first time on a sailboat and it was a wonderful experience. The boat was immaculate. Captain Alex pointed out all the sights on the shore as we sailed to Malibu. The weather was great and we really enjoyed talking with Captain Alex and Marlene. We would recommend this sailing experience.

We had a Great day on the Silver Eagle. Captain Alex and his wife Marlene were perfect hosts. The weather was perfect. The yacht was clean and beautiful. We were fortunate enough to get into a pod of dolphins. We will definitely do this again.

Captain Alex and First Mate Marlene provided a stunningly beautiful send-off for my parents' ashes on Palm Sunday. My Mom died at age 100, and one of her wishes was to have her and my Dad's ashes scattered off the coast of Santa Monica, where they first met in 1941. We took the Silver Eagle out of Marina del Rey and sailed north to 3 miles out opposite the Santa Monica pier. Captain Alex guided me in the correct way to scatter ashes from the stern, took three turns around each spot, which created a calm circle around the rose petals we had also scattered in each place. He then played a beautiful rendition of "Taps" on the trumpet. So moving and beautiful. Just as he had predicted, within minutes we were surrounded by sea birds--pelicans, gulls and Cormorants--and leaping porpoise! Stunningly beautiful. The whole experience was sacred and consoling, a very fitting send-off for two people who grew up near and loved the Pacific Ocean. Could not have been better, and Alex, Marlene and their wonderful sloop Silver Eagle made it so--along with a lot of help from Mother Nature. I had never sailed before, and Captain Alex let my wife and I hoist the main sail and take the helm during this great voyage. Because they didn't have another booking until the evening, we stayed out longer than our alotted time; they said they lived showing people a wonderful time at sea. The boat was spotlessly clean, and there were no diesel fumes, though we did run the engine when the wind wad down. You can't go wrong with these people--what a perfect memory we'll treasure forever.

Went on an adventure today on a beautiful sailboat called the silver eagle. It was a beautiful day the weather was fabulous the seas were calm, Captain Alex and 1st mate Marlene were so fun. They really made our day, they even let my husband take the helm. If your looking for a fun relaxing excursion, I highly recommend this.

This was the perfect way for my family visiting from out of town to truly experience Southern California. Captain Alex and his first mate Marlene are the real deal when it comes to genuine hospitality. From the moment you arrive to the dock, you and your guests are warmly welcomed to board the "Silver Eagle" with Captain Alex and Marlene to assist with any food/beverage items that you may bring along. Once you set sail the views of the California Coast are unbelievable!!! SilverYachts reveal interiors of 80m in build Silver Edge

SilverYachts has revealed new interior renderings of its 79.5-metre model Silver Edge , currently listed for sale with Fraser . Construction started on speculation in 2022 and Silver Edge is set to join the Australian shipyard's all-aluminium globetrotting fleet (including Silver Fast and Bold ) in 2026.

Piredda & Partners has conceived two distinct design proposals for Silver Edge 's interiors, named "Midnight" and "White Sand".

White Sand is described as "sophisticated and delicate", incorporating sandy wood, rough stone and natural antique bronze throughout. Cultivating a relaxed, communal environment, the spacious central lounge only has one private corner which divides the main dining area from the saloon via a built-in sofa.

Alternatively, Midnight has been labelled a more "challenging" aesthetic. Designed with refined materials "from all around the globe", the interiors balance open spaces with several private, intimate corners. This version also features a television lounge and a see-through bronzed wall that divides the formal lounge from an informal cinema.

Silver Edge is based on the same slender profile as Silver Fast with a military twist, a creation of legendary superyacht designer Espen Øino . Despite its length and slim design, the vessel draws just 2.8 metres and offers a 10-metre beam.

Accommodation is for up to 18 guests split between a 95-square-metre owner's cabin and three main deck VIP staterooms, with the remaining four cabins found on the lower deck. Further cabins sleep a total crew of 17. Other highlights include a wine cellar, winter garden and a touch-and-go helipad.

The main deck aft features a five-metre-long glass-bottomed swimming pool and sun lounge, accessed from an oversized swim platform using twin staircases. A secondary dipping pool is found on the sun deck while owners benefit from direct access to a third exterior deck.

A seven-metre tender can be stored in the forward tender garage alongside Jet Skis and wave runners, while a four-metre certified rescue boat is stored in the foredeck hatch.

Power comes from twin MTU 12V 4000M93L engines delivering a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles.

The newest concept by SilverYachts is a shining example of marine design in more ways than one.

The 260-footer, aptly christened Silver Edge, sports a gleaming hull and superstructure forged exclusively from aluminum, along with a host of other glitzy amenities. The Australian yard again penned the vessel in partnership with renowned naval architect and designer Espen Øino , who has played an instrumental role in the realization of the Silver fleet.

Silver Edge has been imbued with the yard’s DNA, which is the epitome of pure industrial chic. Replete with sleek lines, the superyacht will have a wide beam spanning roughly 33 feet and a draft of approximately 9 feet. She also offers a generous interior of 1,030 GT that will be customized to the owner.

The all-aluminum superyacht spans 260 feet.  SilverYachts

Silver Edge can sleep a total of 18 guests across four guests cabins, three VIP cabins and a sizable owner’s suite with a private salon and ensuite. There is also accommodation for 17 crew. Sleep will hardly be a priority, though, thanks to all the fun stuff onboard.

The superyacht’s main deck is crowned by an expansive, 16-foot-long swimming pool with an integrated glass bottom that’s the perfect place to unwind. Elsewhere on this deck, there is a picturesque winter garden for relaxation, plus a lounge and a bar for the requisite wining and dining. The sundeck, meanwhile, offers a Jacuzzi and alfresco dining area.

To the aft, seafarers will find a beach club, gym and dive center, as well as a swim deck that comes complete with a movable swim platform.

As for toys, there is a garage that can store a 23-foot tender, Jet Skis and wave runners, along with a foredeck hatch that holds a rescue boat. There is also space for another 30-foot tender on the aft deck. All that gear can be seamlessly deployed into the ocean with the concealed crane at the rear. Of course, Silver Edge is also equipped with a helipad to support comings and goings.

Though the yard did not give any concrete details regarding propulsion, Silver Edge is designed for global adventures and will likely have a Trans-Atlantic range.

The new design comes shortly after SilverYachts launched explorer yacht Bold . First unveiled in 2019, the all-aluminum 279-foot explorer marks the shipyard’s largest vessel to date and has garnered much critical acclaim.

Here’s hoping Silver Edge eventually hits the water and is just as, well, bold.

Silver Yachts launches 80m Silver Edge

The latest hybrid project from the australian boatbuilder is the fifth model to be launched from its silver series….

The steel and aluminium yacht will feature a hybrid propulsion system and exterior design from industry veteran Espen Øino. For interior design, the new owners opted for Piredda & Partners.

“We are truly inspired to be joining together with Fraser and Silver Yachts,” says Nicolò Piredda, Managing Director, Piredda & Partners. “Together with Espen Øino and the quality Silver Yachts crafts into every ship they create, Silver Edge will proudly stand from the crowd. Our vision and constant search for future canons in design and style aims to give life to a true new classic.”

On the main deck, Silver Edge will include a helipad, sundeck with sun pads, jacuzzi, and dining area. The interior offers a 95m² master suite, three VIP staterooms and four doubles, hosting up to 18 guests.

Fraser Yachts has been appointed as the central agent for the sale and currently has the yacht listed for a cool $75m. Peter Redford, Director of Fraser Australia, adds that Silver Yachts has built a strong reputation for building striking, high-quality yachts in terms of development, technology and quality in recent years. 

“World premieres of new superyacht models are always exciting, and Fraser is excited and proud to play a part with the Silver Yachts team,” says Redford. “There is no doubt that the Silver Edge will be a leading superyacht adding to Silver Yachts’ impressive stable.”

Delivery is scheduled for 2026.

The white interior with beautiful mahogany wood varnished joinery details and cupboards is bright and flooded with natural light from plenty of wraparound windows. The large owner cabin, positioned forward, offers plenty of privacy, a dedicated shower and separate bathroom with toilet to ensure optimal use of the available space. The two double guest cabins share a bathroom with a separate shower area. Accessed from the deck, a separate crew cabin with toilet and shower ensures privacy for both crew and owner.

Fine food and beverages can be prepared in the well-equipped galley. The gimballed  electric cooking hobs and oven ensure warm food on a passage. A large 2.10m-long sofa with a U-shaped sofa on the opposite side offers plenty of comfort, as well as the seating to dine and a cosy corner, where one can retreat after a day of sailing. The 70 foot yacht’s combined 24.000 BTU air-conditioning system will keep everyone cool down below.

The large cockpit features a large table offering not only storage space but also a cold drink from the cockpit fridge. From the cockpit, all sailing systems can be controlled with ease. Hoisting and dropping the mainsail is easy with the in-boom furling system. The Jib winches are positioned within reach of the helmsman, making it possible to even sail single handed . With 217 m2 of upwind sail area and a modest 20-ton displacement, there is no doubt this 70 foot sailboat will quickly disappear beyond the horizon.

The elegant 7-spoke steering wheel will provide direct rudder control and the Hoek design is balanced to perfection making it a pleasure to take the helm. As with all the Eagle yachts, the Eagle 70 has a clean sharp uncluttered deck providing all sailors on the 70 foot sailboat with a grand view. Finally, when it is time to dock, the Yanmar 4 cilinder 110-hp engine aided by the Lewmar retractable bow thruster makes easy work.
