04/16/11 - Beautiful facility in Bailey Harbor w/an awesome lakefront view. We had a lakefront view from our room & a beautiful sunset the 2 nights we were here. Very clean spacious area Our room was large, super clean & came w/a fully functional kitchen. We had an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine stocked w/coffee, tea, filters, creamer & sugar. The cabinets had pots & pans & utensils. Normally I don't need a kitchen when on vacation however there wasn't very much open in Baileys Harbor this time of year I really loved the faculty, the location right in the water facing west where we were treated to 2 gorgeous sunsets literally right through the window or just outside the door. The staff was all super friendly & helpful. There was an indoor swimming pool & jacuzzi as well as an outdoor pool (not opened yet)

Nice place to stay in upper Door Co. Each unit is individually owned, so you get what you get in terms of decor, but that doesn't bother me. My 14-yo thought she had stepped into an episode of Golden Girls (the highest level of praise from her), and (what I care about,) it was CLEAN. We stayed in a 1-br suite and the pullout bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was fine for 2 kids. The full kitchen came in handy when we wanted to make dinner one night, and we had our own breakfast (and my own coffee!) each morning. Outdoor pool wasn't available (problem with the pump), but they still have a nice and serviceable pool indoors. Also a nice playground that my kids (11 and 14) enjoyed. Location is good - quiet area of Door Co and very close to several state parks. Dining options limited in Bailey's Harbor but good choices in Sister Bay and Egg Harbor as well. We would absolutely stay again and enjoyed the overall experience/amenities for the price. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful if you need something or have a question.

We stayed 4 nights. Room 312. Ground floor suite, lake view w/patio. Here's the GOOD: everything was spotlessly clean, fresh linens, comfy bed, nice roomy suite, full-size appliances in kitchen (big fridge), 2-sided gas fireplace you can enjoy from the living room & bedroom, good-sized bathroom with large shower, beautiful lake view, very quiet, felt very safe, and we enjoyed the outdoor pool. Nice, right? Here's the BAD: the entire suite is out-dated (a lot of places in Door County are), "granny" furniture and decor - which is not the worst thing, but it was uncomfortable too - especially the couch. From my side of the bed, the view of the TV was obstructed by the bed post. The TVs were quite small. The worst thing though was the water smelled terrible! In the shower, in the tub, in the sink, & in the kitchen. We didn't drink it either - we bought bottled water. We were not able to use the whirlpool tub because the water was SO stinky! Whenever we ran the water or showered, the "rotten eggs" stink filled the entire suite. Everyday. No matter how long we ran it, it always stunk. For that reason, we will not return. OVER-ALL: It was nice to get away, but it would be a better experience if they would update the furnishings and fix the stink.

The pluses: Water view room with awesome balcony (Christianne Lodge #120 , 07/2021). Quiet, secluded area with 5 minute drive to Baileys Harbor restaurants and Ridges county park public beach with facilities. Room was clean The minuses: Out dated furnishings. Uncomfortable couch. Mattress was soft and uncomfortable. Way to much furniture for the space. Kitchenette space was really small. One really annoying thing is you are required to take your recyclables and trash to the dumpsters\trash cans before checking out. WTH? Issues: We knew the property did not have elevators so we reserved a 1st floor room. When we checked in they told us we reserved a king suite, 2nd floor. Even though our printed receipt shows 2 queens, which on the website depicted a 1st floor room. Tip: NEVER reserve using their website, call to verify the room will be 1st floor if you don't want to carry your belongings up a flight of stairs. We may look at other properties before choosing this property again.

Overpriced dump! It's a gross, dirty and dated hotel that is way overpriced! The rooms don't have any air conditioning and ours had a nasty smell to it. The furniture was dated & dirty. The carpeting was from a different decade-if not older. Also, be warned there are no elevators! I would never recommend or return here! Let me say again incase you missed it. NO AIR CONDITIONING! We have stayed at roadside holiday inns that are nicer!

Nothing special. Quiet but boring. We expected to be able to see the lake but we got a lovely view of the parking lot. Th room was clean but closet space was lacking. We probably won't go back.

First time staying at this place. It's one of those individually owned room properties managed by a hotel management company. Each room will be slightly different with some of its amenities. For instance, my brothers room had a filtered water faucet attachment while my room didn't have one. The rooms we were in were clean and nice. We stayed in a stateroom so it a mini fridge, microwave and utensils available for use. We were traveling with a 15 month old so the fridge came in handy for his milk! They have two pools. One inside and one outside. The deepest end is only 5 ft. Theirs a hot tub and a sauna room. Towels available by the indoor pool. The staff here are all very helpful and nice. The price here is reasonable in my opinion. At the time, we paid $129/day during peak season. This was our first time staying on the "quiet side" of Door County and to be away from the main strip is what you are looking for, this place is it. You are still only 5 minutes away driving from the center of town so it's not much of a hassle to get food or your drink on! Lastly, free parking, free wifi, laundry facility on premises and towels available at the pools. The wifi here isn't the greatest but it's do-able. Cell reception is so-so also. I have AT&T and voice is fine but data is pretty much non-existent!

Just relax and slow down to unwind.

If you want to flare of an overpriced Cheap filthy motel room, Baileys Harbor yacht club is the place for you ,the pool was filthy the rooms are outdated old and very Dirty the smell was overwhelming we spend Two days in a room until they gave us a second room ,Which was a little better but still smelly and dirty ,What a disappointment ruined the whole vacation .

My husband and I stayed at this place and it was fantastic ! Our room was absolutely gorgeous ! We had a water view and it was very romantic watching the beautiful sunsets each night. We had a whirlpool that was so relaxing. The grounds were beautiful and staff was excellent. We were in a wooded area and close to the little towns for shopping and eating. The pool was beautiful and took advantage of that every evening and then relaxed in the hot tub. It was a great get away for us. We would definitely go back.

We stayed at the end of the season (Mid October) and had never stayed on the lake side so after some research and yelping we decided on Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort. We fans of some of the great restaurants in Baileys Harbor already. Their just down the road maybe 5 minutes from Downtown, its a nice spot on the lake and pretty convenient to get too. There is not allot right around there so you will have to drive, you could walk but its a good hike. The property is well maintained and the room we had was very affordable and large enough to stay in and not feel cramped with a coach and small kitchen table. The service was friendly and we had no issues during our stay. We didn't have time to check out the indoor pool or hot tub but it looked nice. We will definitely consider it again the next time we come up. They have a small playground for kids and some grills for guests to use. Would be a nice place for a family gathering. The room was clean and spacious and service and price we good...what more can you ask for.

Didn't do breakfast. Great location! Wonderful staff. Clean room with so many amenities. Loved ground floor room with balcony. Gracious host able to answer any questions and advise of local attractions. Apple cider in the lobby with fireplace wonderful. Pool and hot tub excellent. Choice of movies great and family friendly.

The room was very comfortable, clean and well-appointed with amenities. The harbor view was spectacular and we enjoyed the balcony so very much! I was impressed the bed had a Nectar mattress and really appreciated the mini kitchenette setup. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The common areas were cheerful and inviting, and I loved there were both indoor and outdoor pools plus a hot tub and sauna available to us!

Booking was last minute - actually made online as we traveled North from Green Bay. Had never spent much time in Bailey's Harbor - usually spent time on West side of the peninsula. Was thrilled with the facilities - so much for the amount charged. We didn't want to leave, we're already making plans to come back just to stay at the facilities.

• Our classic Staterooms  feature a traditional, hotel-like room with one or two beds, an optional kitchenette, sitting area, private bathroom, either a private patio or balcony, and harbor or courtyard views. All include a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
• Junior Suites  have a private bedroom and bathroom.  Each has a separate living room area with a sleeper sofa and a kitchenette. All Junior Suites have a private patio or balcony and a spectacular view of the harbor and marina.
• Our One Bedroom Suites  have a private bedroom, bathroom, and a separate living area with a sleeper sofa and a gas fireplace. These suites include a full kitchen, a private patio or balcony, and harbor or resort courtyard views.
• The  Two Bedroom Suites  can include either two private bedrooms or one private bedroom and one loft bedroom. They may have either one or two bathrooms. All include a separate living area, a gas fireplace, and a fully-equipped kitchen.  They may have either a private patio, balcony or screened porch and the views are either serene woods or harbor views.

All of our units are are individually owned by families who take great pride in sharing their homes with you. Your rooms are meticulously maintained and conform to our very high standards. However, each unit has been decorated by its owner, and therefore our pictures represent just a sampling of the decor.

Cancellation: Cancellations requested at least 14 days prior to date of reservation will receive a refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Deposits for reservations that are cancelled with less than 14 days notice will be forfeited.

Early Departures:  Guests are responsible for all nights reserved and confirmed.

Deposits: A 50% deposit of the total reservation amount is required at the time of booking. 

Discounts:  We honor either a 10% AARP or AAA Discount on stays of two or more nights from November through May. Double discounts not allowed, not available with other specials or promotions.

Minimum Stay: There are two and three night minimums required during certain time periods.

Pets: Sorry, no pets are allowed. Violators will be charged a $500 cleaning fee. 

Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed. Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort is a smoke-free environment. Violators will be charged a $500 cleaning fee.
