Phinisi sailing yacht Lamima for sale

The 65.2 metre sailing yacht Lamima has been listed for sale by Adam-Michael Papadakis at Camper & Nicholsons .

Custom built in Indonesia using traditional materials (ironwood for the hull and teak for the superstructure) to a design by Marcelo Penna and MCA classed, Lamima was delivered in 2014 as a Phinisi sailing yacht aimed squarely at the charter market.

Accommodation is for as many as 14 guests in seven cabins consisting of a main-deck master suite with four doubles and two twins below, all with entertainment centres, flat screen televisions and en-suite shower facilities. In addition, there are quarters for 20 crew aboard this yacht for sale .

The crew include a dedicated tour guide, two experienced Indonesian chefs, two Balinese masseuses, a yoga instructor and two qualified dive masters, ensuring that guests make the most of the turquoise waters of the Indonesian archipelago.

Her saloon is situated amidships on the main deck. This spacious indoor area is furnished with a bar and lounge as well as a dining alcove designed to comfortably seat all 14 guests. The upper deck, extending forward of the pilothouse, is furnished with Indonesian sun mattresses and dedicated to relaxation.

With over 1,200 square metres of sails and a 1,000hp MAN diesel engine, she cruises at 10 knots and can reach a top speed of 12 knots.

Carpe Diem Phinisi Deals

Extensively refitted in 2017, the 98-ft Carpe Diem is a traditional Indonesian phinisi boat offering year-round liveaboard dive cruises within the Indonesian Archipelago. You can look forward to diving or snorkeling, kayaking or simply relaxing and lounging upon the deck, while being served by a world-class crew and a private chef. With four beautifully appointed cabins, Carpe Diem Phinisi can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests.

Carpe Diem’s air-conditioned cabins can be configured to suit a variety of sleeping arrangements, ideal for families, couples or groups of friends. The impressive Master Cabin on the Main Deck spans almost the entire width of the boat and has a skylight and large windows on three sides to let in plenty of sunlight, as well as a separate shower-room and en-suite bathroom.

Three more cabins sit on the Lower Deck; one of which can be set as either twin or double that is ideal for friends or siblings to share, while the other two can be set up as triples with a double bed and a top bunk for an additional guest. Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom and features gorgeous teakwood floors, Indonesian textiles, a writing desk, and ample storage space.

Life On Board

The expansive Main Deck sweeps above the Master Cabin to the wheelhouse presenting an alfresco dining area. The upper deck invites you to the lounge with a low table, hammock and sun loungers. This multi-use teak-floored space is ideal for activities such as sunrise yoga sessions before gearing up for the day’s activities, and then relaxing with a cocktail as the sun goes down.

Feast on imaginative dishes comprising locally-sourced fresh ingredients around the central dining table, or lie in the sun with a book while cruising through the islands. On the Upper Deck there is another chill-out area with sun loungers and unobstructed views all around, and on the Fore Deck there is a dive station. Inside you will find a cosy salon with a 10-seater dining table, a galley-kitchen, and a library stocked with plenty of books.

Exploring The Underwater World

With an affinity for ocean conservation, Carpe Diem’s crew happily caters to beginners and experienced divers, as well as snorkelers. All dives are accompanied by qualified dive guides bringing together the essential combination of local knowledge and international standards. As a testament to Carpe Diem’s commitment to safety, each diver is provided with a waterproof GPS locator. Full first aid and oxygen equipment is on board.

Other Activities

There are nine friendly and professional crew members on the Carpe Diem Liveaboard Indonesia, including a cruise director. You can look forward to beach barbecues, snorkeling activities in gin-clear water on shallow reefs, expeditions to little-known dive sites, as well as visits to remote villages to learn more about the people, history and cultures of Indonesia. The crew can also set you up with stand-up paddleboards and kayaks.

The intimate cruises are crafted around the dream of facilitating adventures and fun, both above and below the surface for small groups, families and individuals who are looking for superb, personalized service.

Itineraries & Prices

All itineraries are subject to change due to seasonal weather conditions (and resultant variations in river and tributary water levels) affecting accessibility to locations. Thus navigation routes, times and excursions may need to be modified at the cruise captain’s or your guide's discretion.

7 Day - Komodo Islands

Embarkation

AM : Guests are met at Labuan Bajo Airport and accompanied for the short trip to the jetty by taxi and then by launch to the Carpe Diem. Once onboard guests will receive a welcome and safety briefing accompanied by a cool towel and a cold drink.

PM : Once all guests are safely onboard we will set sail for South Rinca. This leg of the journey is about 7 hours leaving guests free to unpack, relax and familiarise themselves with their cabins and the boat in general. We will anchor in the sheltered waters between Pulau Kode and Rinca overnight.

South Rinca

AM : We will remain at the same anchorage all day, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy some of the local diving/snorkeling sites such as Cannibal Rock, Pulau Pisang (Banana Island), Crinoid Canyon and Yellow Wall.

PM : Also the beach in South Rinca is home to some of the world famous Komodo Dragons and we can visit them (from the safety of our launch) while allowing guests a great photo opportunity. Overnight we will remain at this secluded and breathtakingly beautiful anchorage.

Apple Orchad

AM : A short two-hour passage to the diving and snorkelling sites of Apple Orchard and Kerita Tol. These can be challenging dive spots depending on conditions but for those experienced enough the rewards are worth it.

PM : After the afternoon dive we head back to the anchorage, where we will stay overnight, and have the opportunity for a night dive at Torpedo Point, a great spot for small critters.

Nusa Duawaju

AM : And we lift the anchor early and head West to Nusa Duawaju, the home of Manta Alley. Here we have the opportunity to dive and snorkel with beautiful Manta Rays who frequently gather at this feeding station which is supplied with nutrients from the colder Southern Ocean. Speaking from experience, this is one of the many highlights of the trip. The last time I dived here I was accompanied by 20 or so Manta Rays.

PM : After two dives at Manta Alley we will make the short 1 hour trip to Loh Sera for an afternoon dive and snorkel and remain here overnight.

Pulau Padar

AM : Once again it's an early start for the crew as we will head to Pulau Padar taking in the dive sites at Three Sisters and Pillar Steen along the way.

PM : Also we can take time ashore here for an afternoon climb to watch the sunset from the top of the island. Guests can also take the SUPs or Kayaks and enjoy the beach and island at any time.

AM : Another early start and we head North to Pulau Komodo and the famous Pantai Merah (Pink Beach).

PM : Here, tiny pieces of bright red coral mix with the white sand to create a fabulous pink hue which gets more and more beautiful as the sunsets. Also there is diving, snorkeling, trekking, kayaking and paddle boarding all available to our guests.

Disembarkation

AM : Sadly it's the last day, so we up anchor and make our way to Labuanbajo allowing guests time to pack and relax along the way before we escort them ashore and to the airport to wave goodbye.

7 Day - Central Raja Ampat

AM : We will pick you up at the ferry or your hotel and welcome you on board with drinks. After the safety and boat briefings we will show you to your cabin and let you settle down and unpack.

PM : We will have an afternoon and night dive in Friwinbonda or Sapokreng.

Mioskon & Yenbuba

3 dives. After the 3rd dive, we will go to the Piaynemo viewpoint and explore the lagoon.

Manta Sandy & Sauwandarek

2 dives in the morning at Manta Sandy & Manta Slope Afternoon and night dive in Sauwandarek.

2 morning dives. In the afternoon we make our way back to Waisai.

We will take you to the ferry or your hotel in the morning.

8 Day - Central and North Raja Ampat

AM : Meet guests at the Waisai Ferry terminal at 11:00. Welcome drinks on board and safety briefing.

PM : It’s time for a check dive in the afternoon and night dive at either Friwinbonda or Mioskon

AM : Two morning dives at Pulau Wai.

PM : Afternoon and possible night dives at Yenbuba or Sauwandarek.

4 dives at various spots around Yangefo.

Visit Piaynemo. 3 dives and a land excursion to the Lookout Point for that classic Raja Ampat photo opportunity and visit to the lagoon.

Manta Sandy

AM : 2 Dives at Manta Sandy to try and see majestic Manta Rays that tend of group there.

PM: Afternoon and Night dives at Sauwanderek or Yenbuba.

Cape Kri, Blue Magic & Sardine Reef

4 Dives at Cape Kri, Blue Magic, Sardine Reef and Mioskon or Friwinbonda.

Mike’s Point

Two morning dives at Mike’s Point or Batu Lima.

Transfer to Waisai Ferry at 0900.

8 Day - Komodo: Labuan Bajo to Bima

AM : We will pick you up at the airport or your hotel and welcome you on board with drinks. After the safety and boat briefings we will show you to your cabin and let you settle down and unpack.

PM : We will have an afternoon and night dive in Sebayor.

Central Komodo, Dragons and Pink Beach

AM : We will have 2 dives in Central Komodo in the morning at either Tatawa Kecil or Batu Bolong and Karang Makassar.

PM : In the afternoon, we will go to Loh Liang ranger station to see the famous Komodo dragons and finish the day on the Pink Beach. 

Manta Alley & Padar

AM : We now enter the South part of the park with a completely different landscape. The water is also cooler but very rich in marine life. In the morning we will dive at Manta alley where we often see trails of manta.

PM : In the afternoon, we will dive at Padar and we will go trekking to enjoy one of the most famous views of Komodo. 

Central Komodo

We will have 2 morning dives in 2 of the various dive sites in Central Komodo and have the afternoon dine and night dive at Gili Lawa Darat.

North Komodo & Banta

AM : For our 2 morning dives, the renowned crystal rock and castle rock dive sites will provide you with an action-packed day with current and marine life with schools of fish and sharks.

PM : We will have an afternoon and night dive at Banta.

We will have 4 dives at the feet of this active volcano island where the colorful coral and critters stand out on the black sand.

We will have 2 muck dives in the morning in Bima Bay where critters such as wonderpus octopus, coconut octopus, zebra crab, coleman shrimp and various spieces of nudibranchs can be spotted. 

We will take you to the airport or your hotel in the morning. 

8 Day - Central and South Raja Ampat

PM : We will pick you up at the airport or your hotel and welcome you on board with drinks. After the safety and boat briefings, we will show you to your cabin and let you settle down and unpack as we make our way to Raja Ampat. If the time allows, we will have an afternoon and a night dive. 

Dampier Strait

We will do 4 dives a day on some of the signature dive sites in the Dampier Straight such as Mioscon, Chicken Reef, Sardine Reef, Cape Kri, Yenbuba, Sauwandarek, Friwin Bonda... We will have the opportunity to observe the vibrant corals and marine life and encounter wobbegong sharks, pigmy seahorses, schools of sweetlips, Bumphead Parritfish and many more. 

Manta & Piaynemo

AM : In the morning, we will dive at 2 sites renowned for observing manta rays.

PM : In the afternoon, we will have 1 dive at Piaynemo and hike to the famous viewpoint before starting our southward journey as the sun sets. 

We will spend these days discovering the south of Raja Ampat with 3 or 4 dives a day as well as exploring the lagoons and some of the landmarks so you can see all that this area can offer under and above the water. We will cover different areas such as Balbulol, Fiabacet, Yeliyet or Boo to take in de variety of landscapes, colorful soft corals, huge sea fans and spot different species of pigmy seahorses, dive in schools of fish and maybe observe the majestic oceanic manta rays.

Today, we will have 2 morning dives and then start our way to Sorong. Do keep an eye for dolphins and whales! 

AM : We will take you to the airport or your hotel in the morning.

8 Day - Komodo: Bima to Labuan Bajo

PM : We will have an afternoon and night dive in Bima bay for some muck dives where critters such as wonderpus octopus, coconut octopus, zebra crab, coleman shrimp and various spieces of nudibranchs can be spotted. 

Sangeang & Banta

AM : We will have 2 dives at the feet of this active volcano island where the colorful coral and critters stand out on the black sand.

PM : Then we will have an afternoon and night dive at Banta.

North Komodo

PM : We will then have our afternoon and night dive either at shotgun or at golden passage.

Manta Alley & Nusa Kode

AM : We now enter the South part of the park with a completely different landscape. The water is also cooler but very rich in marine life. In the morning we will dive at Manta alley where we often see trails of mantas.

PM : In the afternoon we will head to Nusa Kode at the south of Rinca Island where we can admire the colorful reef and critters. We can also observe wildlife above the water with wild boars, deer, sea eagles and Komodo dragons.

Nusa Kode & Padar

AM - PM: We will stay in Nusa Kode in the morning and will spend the afternoon in Padar. After the 3rd dive, we will go trekking to enjoy one of the most famous views of Komodo. 

Siaba, Mauwan, Kalong

AM : We will have 2 dives in the morning back in central Komodo where you can be surrounded by turtles and maybe more mantas.

PM : We will spend our last beautiful sunset-watching bats flying off Kalong island. 

AM : We will take you to the airport or your hotel in the morning. 

8 Day - Komodo National Park

AM : Airport pick up in the morning.

PM : We will sail to Sabolan for check dive and night dive.

Sebayor, Tatawa Besar & Gili Lawa

AM : Diving in Sebayor, Tatawa Besar, Gili Lawa. These sites offer healthy coral with a variety of colours.

PM : Sunset trekking.

AM & PM : 4 dives Tatawa Kecil, Mawan, Shotgun.

Batu Bolong, Karang Makassar & Padar

AM : Diving in Batu Bolong and Karang Makassar. Those are the highlight of Komodo with a lot of different fish and maybe manta rays.

PM : Afternoon dive in Padar. Sunset on Pink beach in Padar.

Manta Alley, Loh Sera

AM : 2 dives in Manta Alley. This site offers high probability of seeing manta rays.

PM : Afternoon dive in Loh Sera.

4 dives in south of Rinca.

Siaba, Penga, Loh Buaya & Kelor

AM : Diving in Siaba and Penga.

PM : Afternoon, see the dragons in Loh Buaya's ranger station. Evening at Kelor island.

AM : Sail back to Labuan Bajo. Airport transfer at noon.

10 Day - Triton Bay & South Raja Ampat: Sorong to Kaimana

We will pick you up at the airport or your hotel and welcome you on board with drinks. After the safety and boat briefings we will show you to your cabin and let you settle down and unpack while we are pulling the anchor and start our journey to South Raja Ampat.

3 dives in Daram and night dive in Yeliyet.

4 dives in Fiabacet area.

3 dives in Boo area and we will start crossing to Pulau Pisang.

Pulau Pisang

3 dives and then we start crossing to Momon.

AM : 2 dives on Momon pinnacle.

PM: In the afternoon, excursion to the waterfall. Then we start crossing to Triton Bay.

4 dives per day.

Whale sharks

AM : Early morning, diving below the bagan (local bait fishing boats) with whale sharks. The whale sharks feed on the bait fish that are attracted by the bagan lights at night. The encounter with whale sharks is not ensured at 100%.

PM : In the afternoon we will start our way to Kaimana, where we will spend the night. 

We will take you to the airport or your hotel.

10 Day - Triton Bay & South Raja Ampat: Kaimana to Sorong

We will pick you up at the airport or your hotel and welcome you on board with drinks. After the safety and boat briefings we will show you to your cabin while we pull up the anchor. In the afternoon, we will go to Namatote Island and check with the bagan (local bait fishing boats) if they saw whale sharks this morning. 

Very early morning, we will dive under the bagan with whale sharks. In the afternoon, we will do 2 dives in Triton Bay.

3 dives and we start crossing to Momon.

AM : 2 morning dives.

PM : After lunch, excursion to the waterfall and we start crossing to Pulau Pisang.

3 dives and we start crossing to South Raja Ampat.

South Raja Ampat

2 morning dives and we start our journey to Sorong.

We will take you to the airport or your hotel in the morning.

• If there is a cancellation by the participant, then the payment that has been made cannot be refund / moved trip / reschedule, but participants can find a replacement person (change name).
• Cancellation due to Force Majeure (natural disasters, bad weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations, and other coercive conditions), the trip can be changed / canceled and there is no refund to participants for facilities that are not used or imposed any losses / inconvenience to the organizer. (Force Majeure: an event that occurs beyond human ability and cannot be avoided so that an activity cannot be carried out properly).
