The clubhouse is located at the Montgomerykaai near the Beach and the Port Entrance
It is the only yacht club along the Belgian coast located in the citycentre. All shops, restaurants, train- and bus connections, museums, hospitals etc. are within walking distance. The clubhouse has a most pleasant bar, a gastronomic restaurant, a multipurpose meeting room and the most beautiful sunny terrace of the coast, with a seaview, the beach and the harbour.

Royal North Sea Yacht Club
RNSYC is an exclusive location, provided with a bar and a gastronomic restaurant and a multipurpose meeting room up to 40 persons. It is situated in the Ostend marina. Magnificent view over the harbour and the sea guaranteed.
The club was founded in 1946 by a close group of Snipe and Papillon sailors and has grown into one of the most dynamic water sports clubs and marinas on the Belgian coast. It is the only yacht club in Belgium located in the city centre. All shops, restaurants, train and bus connections, museums, etc. are within walking distance.

Einer 128-Richtlinie (2xIso.4s) folgend durch die weit herausragenden befeuerten Molenköpfe in den Hafen einlaufen. Nach Stb in den Montgomery Dock einfahren. Quer laufenden Gezeitenstrom, Fährverkehr sowie Verkehrssignale beachten.

Im lebendigen Oostende dreht sich viel um den Fisch: Im Nordseeaquarium sind über 60 lebendige Meeresbewohner zu bestaunen, auf dem Vistrap, dem Fischmarkt, liegen sie bereits auf Eis und am Visserskaai kommen sie in die Pfanne. Kunstliebhaber besuchen das Museum für Moderne Kunst mit zeitgenössischen Werken von Maurice Wyckaert und Bram Bogart oder das Wohnhaus des Künstlers James Ensor (1860-1949), der als wichtigster Vertreter des belgischen Symbolismus gilt und eine Menge skurriler Gegenstände hinterlassen hat.
