We will create a new MarineTraffic account using the information from your FleetMon account. This includes your username, name, email address, address, telephone and mobile number, as well as your company name and affiliation (if applicable). After you log in to your new MarineTraffic account, we kindly ask you to reset your password for added security. Of course, you will continue to be able to use your FleetMon account for the time being (we will let you know the next steps about this at a later date).

Rest assured, all your subscriptions, whether monthly or yearly, will be matched accordingly. Your My Fleets and Tags, along with your Credit Points, will also be transferred to your new MarineTraffic account. Additionally, we will assist you in smoothly transferring your My Zones.

With your new MarineTraffic account, you will have access to all its features and services during the remaining duration of your FleetMon subscription. If your contract with FleetMon has already expired, there's no need to worry. We are offering a free trial period of two months, allowing you to experience and explore all the fantastic features MarineTraffic has to offer before deciding on a suitable subscription plan. If you encounter any issues or have any questions, contact our support team directly. They will be more than happy to assist you with your new MarineTraffic account.

We would also like to express our appreciation to the photo community for the incredible photos you have contributed over the past few years. Your contributions are invaluable, and we want to ensure that your efforts are preserved. Therefore, we kindly ask you not to transfer the photos manually. Rest assured, we are actively working on a technical solution that will automatically match and include your uploaded photos in your new MarineTraffic account.

There are 13 major commercial ports of Algeria that serve the country’s international trade transport requirements. Out of these, 8 ports serve as general cargo ports, 3 are mixed ports, and 2 serve as energy ports.

The Port of Algiers (El-Jazair in Arabic) is the main seaport of Algeria in northern Africa. Built on the slopes of the Sahel Hills, Port of Algiers stretches for ten miles along the Bay of Algiers.

The port of Alger is one of the largest deep-water seaports in Algeria. The water channel of the Port of Alger is 22.9m deep and the cargo pier is 7.6m long. It is built on the slope of Sahel hills and extends up to 10 miles along the Bay of Algiers. Major towns near the port are Wahran, Tuggurt, Adrar, Algiers and Medda.

The Port of Algiers (El-Jazair in Arabic) is the main seaport of Algeria in northern Africa. Built on the slopes of the Sahel Hills, Port of Algiers stretches for ten miles along the Bay of Algiers. The Port of Algiers is located about half-way between the Port of Dellys to the east and the Port of Cherchell to the west on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Its name comes from the Arabic word al-jaza’ir, meaning “the islands.”

The number of berths in the port is 39, including:

• General cargo berths-containers and RO-RO berths.
• Grain and fodder berths.
• Unpacked cargo berths, cooled cargo berths and general cargo berths.

The depth of sea waters in such berths ranges from 9 up to 14 meters, while its total length is 7837 meters. Such berths are provided with modern equipment and installations for cargo handling and stowage, in addition to carrying it from the port, also forklift and other electronic lifts of different types, some of which are of 3.2.15 tons capacity. Moreover, lifts for unloading grains, receiving dock with a length reaching 4000 meters and the sea depth along the dock ranging between 4.5 and 6 meters.

The Port of Alger is managed and operated by Enterprise Portuaire d’ALGER (EPAL), and is coordinated by the National Corporation of Maritime Transportation and Algerian Navigation Company. The port was opened to traffic in 1998, and in 2019 it handled a total of 2200 vessel calls and 444, 621 TEUs.

The Main Storage Terminal has an expanse of 282 thousand square metres and is capable of storing 120,000 MT of goods. Other major facilities of Port of Alger are:

• Potting and Stripping centre of 4800 square metres
• A maintenance workshop of 2000 square metres
