The Dufour 48 is a brand-new catamaran, designed by Umberto Felci for the French shipyard Dufour. It is the shipyard's first multihull release, which until now exclusively built high quality and elegant monohull sailing yachts. Being acclaimed by many industry experts and awarded "Boat of the Year" in the catamaran category at the Genoa Boat Show 2018, it is broadly regarded as the progenitor of what will follow by DUFOUR. Some of its special features are: Its large outdoor cockpit that is located on the same level as the living room and kitchen; its cleverly designed fly-bridge that offers a raised lounge which is perfect for sun-bathing and relaxing in privacy; and its elegantly designed interior area that is spacious and exceptionally well lit by natural light. She is in Mykonos which is the prefect starting point to explore the famous Cyclades Islands, including Milos, Naxos, Paros, Mykonos and Santorini.

Dufour 48 catamaran

This is the first Dufour-branded catamaran out of the French shipyard known for its large and popular range of cruising monohulls. Introduced in 2017, the Dufour 48 with its innovative design is now establishing itself as a popular addition to the boat charter market.
A modern, roomy catamaran, the Dufour 48 was designed with cockpit, cabin and forward section including sundeck each taking up one third of the boat's length, above which a spacious flybridge give unobstructed views. Access flows to all parts of the boat, which features large glass doors that make the main cockpit an extension of the indoor living area. Sailing controls are all within easy reach of the helm in the flybridge that doubles as a second cockpit and thus greatly expands the outside space. The main cockpit includes an integrated barbeque and table seating for eight, with the galley close by in the rear of the main saloon.
The Dufour 48 catamaran can accommodate 10-plus people in a combination of double and single berths, with up to five bathrooms depending on configuration. Accommodation has sizeable portholes that provide natural light, All cabins have separate access from the saloon, which is an innovation. Each cabin includes its own bathroom with separate shower, plus ample storage space.
The stylish, modern Dufour 48 catamaran is fully air-conditioned and fitted with all the galley appliances and on-board accessories expected of the modern bareboat charter yacht.
