Walk Through

The 80’ Lazzara sky lounge is one of the most popular models ever built. “New Horizon” 2003, most notable feature is the ample storage for toys. With a hydraulic swim platform, two jet ski pods, and a davit, she can accommodate a variety of toys. Tender, jet ski are included in the purchase

New Horizon” features a desirable five-stateroom, six-head layout with 2VIP guest rooms amidships and full beam mastery and two additional guest rooms - for guests or crew - forward. The skylounge provides a second space for entertaining on the upper deck, and allows for a spacious country kitchen and day head below.

The intricate woodwork throughout “New Horizon” is notable - she features the upgraded high gloss dark cherry wood from Lazzara throughout, which complements her classic interior. Her interior has also benefited from recent upgrades including new softgoods, headliners, and flooring, leaving her in immaculate condition.

Board New Horizon via the boarding gate Aft or Starboard, or via the swim platform. Aft you'll find a beautiful wood table expected of a Lazzara with wood inlay as well as built-in seating and three teak chairs for alfresco dining. Aft also features a minibar area with two Summit fridge drawers perfect for entertaining. She has a Hydraulic swim platform, a fishing & diving cockpit with twin transom pods with space for a jetski each, freeing up precious deck space.

The teak-soled aft deck of “Summerwind” features a large and beautifully polished teak table with newly upholstered built-in seating and teak chairs. A convenient Quartz wet bar with beverage refrigerator is situated to port . The flybridge can be accessed by way of stairs from the starboard side, where the captain will also find a convenient docking station. 

The hydraulic swim platform is accessed from the starboard stairway. This area features teak sole, freshwater washdown, and port and starboard jetski lockers which conveniently house the included jetskis. The 14’ Nouvarania tender is also stored on the swim platform. 

Entering the full-beam main salon through the stainless steel and glass doors from the aft deck, the modern interior will impress. To port is a “L” shaped sectional couch with custom glass coffee table and additional seating to starboard. The flatscreen TV is built into a custom cabinet with storage underneath. 

Forward of the salon is the formal dining area onboard “Summerwind.” It features a high gloss wooden dining table and seating for six. Cabinets surround the table and offer storage for stemware and dining ware. To starboard, a buffet divides the space from the stair access to the midship accommodations. 

A hallway leads forward from the dining area to a convenient day-head and country kitchen style galley. The galley is modern in design with quartz countertops, bamboo flooring, and new wall and headliners. Equipment in the galley include a full size refrigerator, 4-burner stovetop, oven, dishwasher, sub-zero freezer drawers, and microwave. Completing the space is a dinette with quartz top and leather wrap around settee - the perfect spot for a casual breakfast, or enjoying the views underway. The helm station is situated to starboard. 

Following the stairs down from the salon leads to the three mid-ship staterooms. The full-beam master stateroom is aft, featuring a king sized berth with walk-in closet and en-suite head with his-and-hers sinks. The head also features  marble countertops and an enclosed shower with marble walls. Forward of the master stateroom, are two mirrored VIP guest rooms, each featuring a queen sized berth and en-suite head.

Two additional staterooms are accessed from the stairway in the galley. These rooms can be utilized as crew quarters, but are also nicely appointed and fitted for use as guest accommodations. The two forward staterooms both feature en-suite heads, and twin bunk beds with sleeping for up to five. 

The flybridge is accessed either from the aft deck or by way of an enclosed stairway leading from the galley. Atop the flybridge, a jacuzzi, wet bar, and comfortable settee entice guests to enjoy the view. A 40” TV and Fusion sound system provide entertainment, and the under-bar refrigerator and ice maker ensure the drinks stay cold. To aft on the flybridge, there is an electric grill and additional storage for tenders and toys hoisted aboard via 1500-lb davit.

ABOUT THE 80 SC

The Lazzara 80SC is an 80-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge and a raised pilothouse that was produced by the award-winning Florida yacht-building firm Lazzara Yachts between the years of 2001 and 2004. Clean and soft lines with plenty of curves, flared accents and rounded, tear-drop windows give this yacht an unmistakably aerodynamic feel from profile, while a modified V-hull in fiberglass and a set of rugged diesel engines enhance its smooth performance out on the water. Classic interiors with plenty of glazed exotic timber, plush carpeting and natural light make this a great option for those who like to enjoy coastal cruising in sheer comfort and supreme style.

Perfect for all climates, this model’s expansive flybridge features both an enclosed pilothouse and an open aft lounge where you can soak up the sun. To the rear there is a piped leather sofa hugging an oval dining table and room for a couple more chairs, as well as two wet-bar stations with chilled storage, a U-Line icemaker, a sink and an outdoor electric grill. The pilot-house offers a sedate retreat with warm Makore cherry cabinets, an Ottoman, a coffee table and two plush upholstered sofas, while a pair of fluted timber columns frame the entry to the wood-lined dashboard, where you will find Side Power thruster controls, Simrad radar, Shipmate VHF radio, NorthStar GPS, MTU throttles, a Furuno engine monitor, a leather-lined steering wheel and superb visibility.

On the main deck there is a sun-kissed foredeck lounge with a marina-facing sunpad, while a shaded and teak-lined aft-cockpit hosts a transom sofa and a dining table, as well as side-steps down towards a bathing platform with a transom door to a crew quarters or storage area. Interiors on the main deck present a comfortable and traditional theme, with plenty of rounded frames, glossy cherry paneling, timber columns and integrated cabinets. A side sofa and armchairs sit to aft, while further forward there is glass-topped circular dining table, handsome display cabinets and a set of floating stairs up to the bridge. Occupying the front portion of the main deck is a spacious live-in kitchen with granite countertops, a work island with a steel sink, a double-width Kitchen Aid fridge, a GE Spacemaker microwave, a four-zone hob and a Superba convection oven as well as a C-shaped dining sofa and table.

Three en-suite staterooms on the lower-level impress with knife-insert or port-hole windows, mirrored panels, cushioned walls and hand-sculpted Makore cherry cabinets, along with queen-sized beds and sparkling bathrooms. The master stateroom down here is a full-beam affair and features lavish carpeting, a king-sized island bed, a work desk, bookshelves, a side sofa, torch lamps and a marble-lined bathroom with a full-sized bathtub, a shower fixture and a double-width vanity mirror.

Twin 1320mhp MTU 12V diesel engines offer top speeds in excess of 28 knots and cruising speeds clocking in at approximately 24 knots. At a leisurely 12 knot pace the Lazzara 80SC can cover some 1,570 nautical miles before needing to head back to port for refueling, while a shallow draft makes this vessel perfect for exploring coves and reefs.

As a teenager, he spent the summer as a mate on a private M/Y and hasn’t turned back since. He has served under multiple highly respected Captain’s and has been able to take take this knowledge and apply it to his own work. Captain Brett has extensive knowledge of the Atlantic and Bahamian waters. He has run countless charters ranging from M/Y to private sport fishing vessels. Here’s a brokerage opportunity that doesn’t come around every day: a chance to own a pair of Lazzara 80 motoryachts.

Jody Lee , a 2004 build, and Passion , a 2005 build, are both currently for sale through Lazzara Lenton Yachts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jody Lee is listed at an asking price of $2.35 million, and Passion ‘s owner is asking $2.49 million. Both are Open Bridge Grand Salon models with a pair of 1,550-hp Caterpillar C30 diesels.

That’s not to say they’re identical yachts in terms of performance, of course. (Always read those full specs carefully!) Jody Lee has a cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of 32 knots, while Passion is a little faster at cruise speed, at 27 knots, but slower at the top end, at 30 knots.

Where these yachts are the same is in their layout, with five staterooms apiece to keep even the extended family comfortable during long-weekend getaways. Each yacht also has six (count ’em!) heads, including the en suites in the staterooms.
