Once you confirm your reservation, your broker will process your payment.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Your Captain is USCG Licensed and knows the local waters well. Your Chef / Stew will make sure that if you opt for a food package, that you never go hungry. We want your experience to simply amazing.

We are lucky in Fort Lauderdale to have so many options on where to cruise. The Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) and the New River are at your doorstep and provide some amazing views of magnificent homes and super yachts that give Fort Lauderdale the title "Yachting Capital of the World." Longer charters allow us to also enjoy beautiful anchorages off the beaches in Fort Lauderdale and Miami for swimming and sunning. Nothing beats Miami at night, except for fresh Key Lime Pie or snorkeling in the Florida Keys. If that is your goal, we can do that too. Everything depends on your dreams.

Nothing beats a beautiful day on the water like a meal properly paired with wine, enjoyed while the sun goes down. When you book your charter, should you wish to enjoy a custom culinary experience I will work with you one-on-one to understand your dietary requirements so that when you sit down for dinner, it is one to remember. My specialties include French, Mediterranean, Spanish and Asian-Fusion.

Safety Aboard and Prohibited Items

We have to cover this for everyone's enjoyment.

Safety Aboard - We take it very seriously. Know that every crew member of M/Y Rapture has been trained in First Aid / CPR with AED. Additionally, they are enrolled in a active drug testing program. When on charter, our crew is prohibited from consumption of alcoholic beverages. There will be time for that at the dock.

Prohibited Items - We don't like to talk about this, but we have no choice. Rapture Charters has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to controlled substances onboard the boat. This INCLUDES marijuana (including medical) and CBD. These regulations are required by the United States Coast Guard. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the charter, and no refund will be issued . Please understand the seriousness here. Your crew can lose their licenses to work, and the boat can be seized if contraband is found onboard. So leave that stuff at home. You'll have a great time without it.

Firearms - We believe in the Second Amendment, and we support your right to keep and bear arms. However, on the yacht we ask that you not bring them. If, however, it is a choice between locking it up on your car and locking it up on the boat, please bring it onboard, but allow the Captain to secure it for you. We would rather keep it safe onboard that risk it getting stolen from your vehicle. It will be returned to you upon completion of the charter.

Smoking Onboard - YES...you CAN smoke on Rapture. However, we have a designated smoking area, so please respect that.

When you have the yacht you want selected, you can simply request it via our website. When you do this, we will check to make sure it is available and that everything is alright with the options you’ve selected. 

Reserve Your Yacht Rental

If this works out, you can make the actual reservation. To do so, you will have to put down a small deposit. This will be returned to you after your rental. 

Select Your Crew and Captain

Now, you can  select the captain and crew that will be accompanying you on your trip. You have to select a captain, as they will be responsible for driving the yacht you are renting. However, any additional crew is an optional choice that allows you to make your experience more enjoyable.

The only exception is if you want to bring on more people than the ship lists as the maximum. This is a hard limit and cannot be exceeded. So, if your limit is 13 people and you initially plan for 10, you can potentially take as many as three more people with you. We cover all these details in  our FAQ . 

What Safety Practices Are In Place?

The team at Anchor places  safety as one of our highest priorities . In fact, we instruct our captains to keep safety at the top of their concerns while out on the water. This means they may be limited in what they can do for you based on the safety of the situation. Essentially, they will do what they can to keep you safe. 

Besides this, we ensure each ride is safe. This includes watching out for things like occupancy limits and the weather. We also follow all relevant boating laws. 

What If the Weather Is Bad?

In many cases, bad weather in Fort Lauderdale blows over pretty quickly. You can simply wait for the weather to pass and still get the most out of your boat rental. 

If the weather doesn’t pass and we determine that you cannot take out the yacht for the day, your rental will be canceled. If this happens, we’ll issue you a voucher for the value of the experience you booked. You can use this voucher to book a similar experience within 365 days of the experience you initially planned.
