Is it just me, or have almost all of the intense and dramatic moments teased so far been a letdown? We’re now five episodes in and all we’ve gotten is petty bickering, constant conversations about who likes who, and Gary being ickier than ever, none of which have led to anything substantial.

This episode opens with Gary and Mads still kissing in the Jacuzzi as Alex stumbles through the boat. Colin awakens to find him eating alone in the crew mess and asks if Gary, whom Alex calls “fucking Farquaad,” is “cutting your lunch.” “Leaving the girl you like in the hot tub with Gary is like waving a banana in front of a monkey and expecting him not to eat it,” Colin — the only person of sound mind on the boat — tells us.

The next morning, Lucy continues her streak of being a klutz by hitting her face on her bed’s guardrail. It’s the day before the third charter, so everyone’s recapping the previous night. Colin asks the guys if they hooked up with anyone, and Gary says he doesn’t remember. Chase, on the other hand, is “done with the lady situation” to avoid tension between him and Alex. Meanwhile, Alex worries his excessive drinking may have “fucked up [his] chances with Mads,” which may be true now but doesn’t matter in the long run because, remember, she has low standards.

Gary and Colin head outside to chat, and Gary says that “a man never tells his secrets” before admitting that he and Mads kissed but that he feels bad because the other guys like her. He has never been one to think first before acting. At the same time, Mads spills about her and “Gazza” to Lucy, who says it was “fucking obvious.” When asked if it was a good kiss, Mads says she “wished I made out with other people.”

At the preference sheet meeting, we learn the next primary is John Cerasani, a “serial entrepreneur” celebrating his new book with his girlfriend Natalia, daughter Anastasia, son Jacob, and friends TJ and Lauren. Ileisha is provided with a lengthy list of dietary restrictions, but she doesn’t seem overly stressed about it. Once that’s out of the way, Captain Glenn announces that a stew will accompany guests when leaving the boat from now on because it looks more professional. This frustrates Daisy, who believes it’s a waste of the interior’s time. “If I notice things that need to be adjusted, I’m going to challenge my team to make those adjustments,” Captain Glenn shares. Sure, but this is something that should’ve been discussed privately with Daisy rather than calling her out in front of her co-workers.

After that’s over, Gary attempts to chat with Mads about the makeout, and she brushes it off because she doesn’t feel like talking about it. “I had fun; I’m just not trying to start drama,” she tells him. Elsewhere on the boat, Colin and Daisy flirt while he fixes a broken drawer. Colin asks if she hooked up with someone, and Daisy says she’s “staying away from everyone.” Colin plans on doing the same because the “two young girls are too young,” and he isn’t attracted to them. Gary could never!

Gary then checks on the guys and pulls Alex aside to inform him about the Jacuzzi hookup. Gary adds that he’ll “back off” if Alex likes Mads, which he should’ve considered beforehand. Interestingly, he doesn’t extend the same courtesy to Chase, who told him he liked her. In a confessional, Alex, who thinks this was a “strange move,” shares his thoughts: “What do you want me to say, thanks for hooking up with the girl I like?” Gary’s shenanigans are starting to get old.

In the evening, while having drinks outside, we learn that Ileisha used to be a contortionist in a local circus growing up. She has lived so many lives. Mads then tells us that she only really smooched Gary because Alex was drunk and “a girl needs her needs met.” Fair. The following day, Gary tells Colin he thinks Mads only hooked up with him because, as Colin puts it, he was the “last man standing,” which is true. Oh, how the tables have turned!

Meanwhile, Chase is thrilled about being assigned anchor watch this charter because he needs a “break from Gary bitching about everything I do wrong.” He adds, “Distance makes the heart grow fonder.” I, too, welcome this break from their annoying drama.

The guests finally arrive, and it’s immediately clear that they’re a demanding bunch. Mads says that John radiates “high-school douchebag vibes,” and I couldn’t agree more. After Daisy shows them around, they head up to the flybridge to take in the view while enjoying Ileisha’s hors d’oeuvre and requesting countless drinks.

Captain Glenn tells Gary that a deckhand needs to drive the tender rather than towing it like usual, which introduces a new issue for him and Daisy to bicker about. Gary tells Daisy that a stew should learn how to drive the tender to help out, and Daisy is rightfully “flabbergasted” by the request. “I think Gary thinks I’m sexy when I’m angry,” she tells us before adding that she’s mad and currently  not  feeling sexy. Gary whines to Captain Glenn and Colin about how he always helps out the interior, but Daisy never returns the favor. Captain Glenn’s response: “Have you guys set a date for the wedding?”

Outside, John is showing off his cockiness as Anastasia records a video of him flaunting his chain necklace while saying, “I’m on a yacht, motherfucker!” Captain Glenn then captivates the guests with his sailing, which goes smoothly (sorry). Afterward, John really wants Captain Glenn to wear his chain for some reason, so he agrees and takes photos wearing it, which gets some laughs from Colin and Gary.

Throughout all this, the interior attempts to keep up with the guests’ constant requests. Daisy thinks the guests will “ask for everything under the sun,” and she’s right. “Nobody sees how many directions we’re being pulled in,” she expresses before mocking Gary’s request of having a stew drive the tender. Agreed, and I don’t like how Captain Glenn refrains from coming to the interior’s defense in situations like this one.

Once they drop anchor and the guests go out for water sports, Daisy starts planning the ’90s theme party they requested and suggests a Spice Girls–inspired crew performance. She asks Gary to be involved, and he agrees but complains about his doing her yet another favor. Babe, briefly having to entertain guests is  not  the same as asking a stew to stop working to drive a boat!

As Gary and Captain Glenn chat in the laz, Jacob, who was warned to keep a distance when using the eFoil, crashes into TJ. And with that, we have this season’s first guest injury, and it’s a bad one. TJ says he’s fine, but the gnarly gash on his head says otherwise. Captain Glenn calls a medic, who arrives shortly after and determines that TJ must go to the hospital. This kills the vibe and alters Ileisha’s original plan of having vegetarian dishes for dinner, but, as John decides, the night must go on.

At dinner, John thinks crew members should fill the empty seats at the table, and Jacob requests that Gary join them. Daisy is annoyed because she thinks “me serving Gary is a sick joke,” so she suggests that he be at dinner the following night. Is this going to be a recurring theme this season? Does the crew not already have enough on their plates that they have to add last-minute crew-guest meals to the list??

Next, the crew gets ready for the tacky theme party (which should be banned from the  BD -verse). Chase wears Daisy’s leopard-print dress, Mads sports an orange wig, and Gary wears a sports bra and short shorts because he’s Sporty Spice, though Chase says he’s “more like Old Spice or Hairy Spice.” Nothing about the décor for the evening — a depressing display of colorful lights and some balloons — feels reminiscent of the 1990s. Even I, someone who wasn’t alive in that decade, am aware of that. Without Gary’s hyper energy, the “performance” would’ve been even cringier. However, the guests are so preoccupied with TJ and Lauren, who have yet to return from shore, that they don’t notice the absence of the gelato station requested on their preference sheet.

The next morning, John grows more worried after waking up to find TJ and Lauren’s beds left untouched. His phone calls to TJ won’t go through, so Chase wakes up Captain Glenn to update him on the situation. But after being sent to voice-mail several times, John is able to get ahold of TJ, who says that he has yet to be seen by a doctor but will be “ready to rage” soon. Talk about an anticlimactic conclusion to a tense moment.

As TJ and Lauren return via water taxi, Alex and Lucy head to the beach to set up for a trip requested by the guests. It doesn’t take them long to get everything ready, so they’re left sitting on the beach doing nothing. Meanwhile, the guests are requesting things left and right, which makes Daisy feel “like I’m drowning” and unable to keep “things under control.” The episode ends with Daisy going to her room to presumably have a breakdown, and I feel awful for her. Based on next week’s preview — in which she cries at the tip meeting — it’ll only get worse.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for as we finally saw what led to Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae’s shock kiss.

In the season four trailer, the pair could be seen getting very close after a night out – which threw many for a loop as the chief stewardess had a flirty banter with bosun Gary King .

The latest episode unpacked their drunken passionate kiss , which came at the end of a very tense crew dinner.

On the way back to the boat, Gary embraced stewardess Mads in the van, with the camera panning across to an unhappy-looking Daisy.

Discussing her reaction in a private chat with Colin, he reflected: ‘I kissed Mads in the car, and Daisy looked at me as if I’d just cheated on her. But she told me to stay away from her this season.

‘It’s not a game for me. I’m f**king sick and tired of games. Over it.’

He wasted no more time and picked things back up with the stewardess, taking her into a guest room – where Colin and deckhand Chase decided to walk in on them, completely killing the mood.

Later returning to the scene of the crime, the engineer was joined by Daisy as they went to check on their castmate, when things took a surprise turn.

Walking back to the cabins, the microphone picked up the moment Colin said: ‘Whose bed are we going to?’

As they made their way up the stairwell, Daisy put her arms around her co-star on the stairwell and they shared a very passionate kiss, after which he asked the question we all wanted to know: ‘What the f**k? Where did that come from?’

Things got even steamier when they made their way into the chief stew’s bed, where she told Colin: ‘You really turn me on.’

With that, a message flashed up saying: ‘To be continued…’

Despite not having a teaser for next week’s episode, fans were living for the footage and flocked to Twitter to discuss the twist.

‘Was anyone else screaming (in excitement) when Colin and Daisy started kissing?!?!?!?!!!!!! #belowdecksailingyacht,’ a viewer said.

However, it has emerged that Daisy and Colin are no longer following each other on Instagram, suggesting that there is a lot more to come from their boatmance…

The trailer showed the moment Gary erupted after being told of their embrace, suggesting that there are rocky waters ahead.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk , the head of the interior crew admitted that she was surprised by his anger , telling us: ‘I think the viewers will be shocked – it all starts to kick off with the second half of the season. I don’t know what Gary’s game is, even me watching the episodes, it’s like watching a whole new show.

‘Seeing him go after the girl that all the boys go [for], it felt like Gary was jealous because he just didn’t want Colin to have me. It didn’t feel like, at the time, he genuinely had feelings for me. Of course, I’m confused – do I go with my instinct? Do I go with what I’m being told?

‘Watching the series progress, I’m like, my instinct was 100% right, you just wanted me because I was a prize to you, like I was a shiny toy. At least in my opinion.

‘I was pretty surprised, I was shocked. I was like, “Wait, you’ve given me no indication, apart from the odd flirting…” To come straight out and be like, “I’m super jealous and I have feelings for you….“’

Daisy Kelliher of Below Deck Sailing Yacht is sharing insider details about her love triangle with Colin and Gary in the newest season.

Chief stew on Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Daisy Kelliher, is revealing how weird it was to be stuck in a love triangle with Gary King and Colin MacRae. The Dublin native has been pretty good at keeping away from the men on her ship, as she never used to mix business with pleasure. However, it seems like the three best friends couldn't help but find themselves intertwined.

Daisy's first season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht showed that the chief stew could balance guests' needs with the wants of her young crew. Daisy's freshman season put the Bravo personality in the hot seat with the First Mate, Gary. They started off as enemies, since the laid-back Gary did hit on crew members. On the other hand, Daisy was a stickler for rules, and didn't want her second and third stew distracted by Gary's antics. Daisy, Gary, and Colin made the Parsifal III their home, and became a close trio. The three friends were as thick as thieves, and didn't want anything to impact their relationships with one another.

Daisy Didn't Want Drama This Season

Daisy shared with TV Insider that she was not into the drama when it came to her, "complicated" boatmances with Colin and Gary. The engineer Colin had been dating his long-time girlfriend Silvia Latini for the past three seasons, but revealed in the premiere that he was now single. As for Daisy, she shared that she considers herself to be a, "slow burner." She isn't the type to have many one-night stands. That sets her apart from some of the other crew over the years.

Meanwhile, Gary has always been the playboy of the boat. He's had love connections with Ashley Marti, Sydney Zaruba, and Ali Dore. At the end of last season, Daisy and Gary smooched in the hot tub. However, they still claimed to be good friends and nothing more.

Daisy Admits To The Love Triangle Between Her, Gary, & Colin

As Bravo viewers have seen, Daisy's approach to a relationship is to get to know the person, revealing that she and Colin have been friends for years . So, when the opportunity to explore their relationship appeared, she jumped at the chance. Daisy confirmed to fans that a love triangle existed between her and her two best male friends.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season is still unfolding, but the trailer hinted that there would be a lot of drama to unpack, including conversations, "tears, and arguments" between Gary, Colin, and Daisy. The clip showed Gary acting out of sorts as he accused Daisy of hooking up with his best friend and bunkmate, Colin, "out of spite." He admitted that he missed his chance to build a more serious relationship with her.

Even though Daisy may be weighing her options when it comes to potential suitors, she did share that she is still in communication with Colin and Gary . Sadly, the fate of Gary and Colin's relationship is unknown. The trailer's hinting they were not on speaking terms.

The current season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht has only just set sail, but Daisy has promised that the drama is off the charts. Gary has yet to arrive for his charter season since he keeps testing positive for COVID-19. Colin's also had a rough first charter, thanks to the engine breaking down. Even Daisy hasn't had it easy due to some irritated charter guests. However, the spark of love will soon be aired, and Daisy tells fans to take their bets on who wins in the game of love.

Daisy Kelliher 's relationship with Colin MacRae hit another obstacle — and Gary King was once again caught in the middle.

During a new episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , which aired Monday, June 26, Daisy and Colin worked out their past issues and appeared to be making progress in their relationship . However, things took an unexpected turn when Gary and Daisy crossed paths.

“I don’t want to affect mine and Gary’s relationship by trying to put a boundary between us, but I also don’t want to upset Colin by being inappropriate,” the chief stew explained in a confessional. “I’ve never been in this situation before, so I don’t really know how to handle it.”

The coworkers ended up sharing a kiss after Daisy slept with Colin. Daisy called the moment “so inappropriate," but Gary felt compelled to share something "romantic" with her.

“When you’re with me, it feels like time slows down,” the first officer said. “How amazing is that? I think that’s one of the most romantic things I might have ever said to you.”

Colin, for his part, walked in on the pair as they embraced in the crew mess. “Gary is a desperate man,” the engineer told the cameras. “His ego feels attacked if he doesn’t have female attention. And now that I’m in the thick of it, it’s a bit of a s--tty situation to be in.”

Later in the episode, Daisy suggested that she and Gary put their flirty banter on pause amid her romance with their mutual friend. “Colin’s not gonna be happy [with] the way we interact,” she told Gary. “We probably should stop flirting.”

Gary, however, argued that there was nothing wrong with their friendship. “But it’s who I am. He knows that,” he asserted. “It’s not like I’m trying to — actually, let me just stop talking.”

Since joining Below Deck Sailing Yacht in season 2, Daisy and Gary have sparked romance rumors on several occasions. The duo ultimately surprised viewers earlier this season when Gary revealed that he and Daisy had sex when cameras weren't around.

The Ireland native previously admitted that she has no expectations when it comes to a future with Gary.

"That was what was really confusing [while filming season 4]. I was like, 'You're hooking up with everyone. I don't know why I'm in the hot seat.' I learned from previous seasons, and I think it's really important to reflect on your behavior in life and to reflect on situations," she exclusively told Us Weekly in April. "I think some time apart is always good. I think when we're together it gets a lot more complicated because we do have that chemistry," she said. "So, it is like, is this more? But I think we are just friends. That time apart kind of clarifies things a bit more [for me]."

That same month, Gary addressed how his feelings for Daisy played a role in the cast’s overarching drama this season.

"I'd say to a certain extent I was a bit jealous. Daisy and I, we do have a connection regardless of whether she denies it or not," he shared with Us . "And I think anyone in this world will be a bit jealous if they see the person that they've got a connection with hooking up with someone else. I mean, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous."

The Gary doth protest too much! 

On Monday night's Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Daisy Kelliher and  Colin MacRae both checked in with  Gary King after their unexpected makeout session — and as is fitting for Bravo's soap opera on the high seas, Gary kept the drama swirling by changing his answer depending who asked.

To his friend and former wingman Colin, Gary mostly said "No" — as in "No, I'm not mad," and, "No, I don't have feelings for Daisy." In fact, Gary's knee-jerk denials hit a grand total of 19 times (often in rapid-fire staccato) that he told Colin he was not just not upset that Colin had kissed Daisy (Gary's hot tub hookup partner last season) — but, he insisted, he was actually "quite happy" about it.

After Gary laid it on a little too thick, telling Colin, "I would love you guys to date," the Chief Engineer called out the dissembling in a confessional interview: "What he's telling me is there's a green light. But what his face is telling me is another thing."

To Daisy, Gary sang a different tune.

"Maybe there’s a little bit of jealousy there ," he admitted, before saying, "Maybe I'm a coward in that sense. And I'm too scared to see what your reaction's gonna be, so I'm happy to tell everyone else [I like you] because that's how I feel, and I'm just too scared to tell you."

She told him straight: "This kind of bothers me — like, you can’t even tell me that you have feelings for me?"

In a confessional, she wondered, "What f---ing warped zone am I in right now? I can't believe he realized he has feelings for me now that he's seeing me with someone else. I mean, come on . I think Gary's upset that I’m not his backup. It's so f---ing annoying."

Gary — perhaps bummed that his multi-season conquest had fallen into bed with his pal right before his birthday — then implicitly blamed Daisy for pushing him away. “I couldn't pursue you because I thought my chances weren't there," he told her, "especially when you tell me to stay away from you [at the beginning of this season]. I was heartbroken by that comment, really. We didn't really explore get to that, you know?”

“We don't get to explore it because you're in a relationship with my roommate,” Daisy shot back, referring to stewardess Madison "Mads" Herrera.

Gary told Daisy to "f--- off" after that comment, but she responded, "Gary, I don't know what you want me to tell you. After you kissed Madison, [did] you want to come over to me and see which one you have more chemistry with?"

Cue the chorus of “No. No, no, no” from Gary.

But Daisy had the facts on her side, telling him: "I kissed Colin last night, and we're three weeks into the season. You've been hooking up with Madison for the last three weeks."

"Yeah, OK, well sweet," Gary said, fleeing at the first chance when deckhand Chase Lemacks obliviously interrupted their tense conversation.

In a confessional interview, Gary was noticeably squirmy and said something curious: "I think that sexual tension between Daisy and I is always going to be there until we have sex, um, again — no, I’m joking!"

Or was he? More on that shortly...

Meeting up later on the deck, Colin told Daisy they should "obviously keep it professional — none of this PDA s--- in front of all the crew." But she was feeling flirty then, and the pair couldn't resist getting cuddly the next night, exchanging a chaste peck on the cheek before he headed off to bed as she finished up with the guests.

Daisy also went to visit Colin in the engine room the following day, and they shared a few more smooches — these ones witnessed firsthand by Gary, who about-faced instantly at the sight of his best friend and former fling getting so close.

At the start of the episode, Colin echoed a sentiment Daisy has shared since the season trailer debuted and news of their hookup has come to light — the longtime friends' attraction had been simmering underneath the surface for a while .

"Daisy and I have always been flirty," he said. "I've had girlfriends the last two seasons, so nothing was acted on or even really thought about. In all honesty, I kind of feel like it was a matter of time in some ways. But yeah, it's still surprising. I don’t know what's going through Daisy's head right now, but I'm pickin' up what she's puttin' down."

For her part, Daisy blushed as she admitted in a confessional interview: "Yeah, there's definitely a lot of sexual energy there."

Of course, as the midseason teaser that aired at the end of Monday's episode showed, that clear magnetism between Colin and Daisy won't stop Gary from getting up to his old tricks.

Most dramatically, he drops this bomb in a later conversation with Daisy: "Having sex with you was f---ing amazing."

That revelation comes in response to her telling him: “You f---ing  could have had me a million times over , and you didn't want me. Now that you can't have me, now you f---ing want me."

Given that the pair had clearly agreed prior to the season to keep the extent of their physical intimacy off camera, the reality of the situation proves a shock to Colin himself, who says: "The chemistry that they have, the way they look at each other, I thought it was all friends. It all makes sense now!"

And so Daisy is caught on the point of this love triangle, eventually exploding at both Colin and Gary: "You're both f---ing with my head. I want you both out of my f---ing head."

Shaking things up! Relationships are heating up between the crew of the Parsifal III, but one hookup is definitely unexpected.

“When I am drunk, I get touchy and emotional. When Jean-Luc [Cerza Lanaux] gets drunk, he is just in himself. He is like a little flower that doesn’t have water,” Dani Soares explains in Us Weekly ‘s exclusive sneak peek of the Monday, May 3, episode of Below Decking Sailing Yacht .

In the clip, Jean-Luc complains about the mess his crew members are making during a night off. Dani tries to make him feel better, but when that doesn’t work, the second stew kisses Alli Dore to make him jealous.

Dani recently announced on social media that she was expecting her first child but did not share any details about the paternity.

The stewardess shared the news via Instagram with a photo of her proudly showing off her growing baby bump.

“It’s just you and I little baby,” the Bravolebrity wrote on April 24.

Dani posted an update following an outpouring of love for her surprising announcement.

“I just wanna say thank you all so much for all the support. It warms my heart to read so many beautiful messages! PS: you gonna get tired of all the pregnancy pics coming your way,” the reality star captioned a photo of her and her bump via Instagram three days later.

The midseason trailer for season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht teased Dani’s upcoming pregnancy.

“The more I get to know you, I like you more. Let’s have sex tonight and if I get pregnant then that’s God’s will!” Dani said to Jean-Luc at the beginning of the promo.

During an April appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen , Dani said that Jean-Luc was “very nice” and “very respectful” during their time on the show together.

The exclusive clip also teases a romantic development between the first officer, Gary King , and Alli after the third stew tells her boss that they kissed.

“I don’t know if that is a turn-on or a turnoff,” Gary, says when Dani later kisses Alli in the sneak peek scene.

Gary has previously spoken about how he and Alli “kind of hit it off” from the beginning. “Yes, I did like Alli,” he shared in an interview with E! News  earlier this month. “She made me laugh, we got along well and, at the end of the day, I was like, ‘OK, well if this is gonna work, let me try.'”

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’: Did Alli & Dani Do More Than Kiss?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Alli Dore made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday night. Fans wanted to know what happened behind closed doors with Alli and fellow stew Dani Soares. They were confused about what was happening between them and rightfully so. Alli previously showed interest in First Officer Gary King and Dani already spent a night with deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux.

In the previous episode, Dani didn’t like Jean-Luc’s behavior. He kept complaining that their crew members were making a mess on the deck. She wanted attention and affection, so she playfully made out with Alli in front of him. She kissed a girl and she liked it, so she took Alli with her into the master suite for some more fun.

On the Monday, May 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live , a fan wanted to know if the Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars really hooked up or if they were pretending to make the guys jealous. Alli and Dani made out and snuck away into the master cabin of the yacht. Dani said she didn’t remember what happened because she drank too much the night before. Their hookup may have been rooted in revenge .

What happens behind closed doors doesn’t stay behind closed doors. A Bravo viewer couldn’t help but ask Alli what happened between her and Dani. Some fans wanted answers and they wanted all the details on their hookup.

“Alli what exactly happened between you and Dani in the master suite?” the person asked. “Were you just trying to get Gary jealous? Or did the two of you actually hook up?”

Andy said it was a “good question.” Alli laughed and said, “Look, I was just going with the flow. I’m a pretty open person and I enjoy life experiences.” She called Dani a “sexy” person and admitted she wanted to hook up with her. Why else would she follow her there?

After Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers watched their hookup play out on television, both Dani and Alli received hateful messages on social media . Dani called out the comments she received. She said there is a double standard since two women hooked up on the show for the first time. Dani noted that when a man hooks up with a woman, no one is bothered by it.

“When Sydney and Gary hooked up, and [Dani] and J.L [Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux] hooked up, it wasn’t such a topic,” Alli added on last week’s Watch What Happens Live episode. “But then when you and I hooked up, that clip has been shown many times. I have received some seriously brutal DMs. We both, because of two girls. Like really horrible things.”

Dani admitted that she hooked up with Alli only to make Jean-Luc jealous. But apparently, there was more going on between the stews than viewers noticed. The hookup took everyone by surprise. It was the first same-sex hookup to take place on the show, even on the entire franchise. This was the first time that fans saw two girls doing more than just sharing a drunken kiss.

Daisy Kelliher dishes Below Deck Sailing Yacht success, reveals if she still stalks to Gary King after scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher has dished about her success on the hit show ahead of Season 5.

Daisy has appeared on three seasons of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and helped turn the show around after a lackluster first season.

Despite a serious rift in the dream team trio of Colin, Daisy, and Gary following Season 4, fans still can’t get enough of them.

Ahead of her fourth stint on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy has opened up about life following her success and how she ended up on the show.

Daisy lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic and at the urging of friends, she applied to be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Speaking with The Irish Independent, Daisy admitted that a couple of weeks after applying, she was filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 in Croatia.

Although it may seem like Daisy’s life has changed drastically since she became a staple on the sailing franchise, she insists that’s not the case.

“My life hasn’t changed dramatically, but there have been small, subtle changes – it’s been fun,” she expressed to the outlet.

As Monsters and Critics previously reported, one big change for Daisy is her new friendship with Hollywood A-list star Christina Applegate.

Daisy also looked back on her life since her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, admitting she didn’t think she would get the gig, but is beyond happy she did.

“The last three years have been kind of a whirlwind, I really can’t complain. I’m getting to do all my yachting work and slowly getting to do other things as well,” Daisy stated.

With her fourth season hitting Bravo airwaves this year, one can’t help but wonder how much longer Daisy will still be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

“I’m just being a ‘yes person’ at the moment. The last few years have changed very quickly, so my attitude right now is just saying yes and seeing where things take me,” Daisy spilled. “I’ve done everything from podcasts to the show, to still doing both, so every day is very different. I don’t know what the future holds right now.”

Along with opening up about her success on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy also shared if she still speaks to Gary following sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Last summer, Gary was accused of sexual misconduct by a production team member. However, even before that, Daisy and Gary were at odds over things that went down during Season 4, especially her hooking up with Colin.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans have wondered where Daisy and Gary stand today following the scandal and their fallout. After all, Gary was removed from BravoCon after the allegations against him came to light, so no resolution to his and Daisy’s friendship was revealed there.

During an Instagram Stories Q&A session, Daisy asked who she talks to from the show. Dani Soares and Gary were two names Daisy brought up immediately.

Although she did mention she keeps in touch with others like Alli Dore, Daisy also declared that they all simply live different lives. Daisy confirmed that no other cast members from Below Deck Sailing Yacht live in London, where she resides.

Daisy frequently hangs with Below Deck stars Fraser Olender and Hayley De Sola Pinto. She also spends time with Below Deck Med alum Courtney Veale since they live in London.

‘Below Deck’ Sails Into a New Era

With a different captain at the helm and new production elements, the reality show about charter yachts is switching up its style.

Starting a new season of “ Below Deck ” can be similar to returning to summer camp as a kid — you know it’s going to be fun and that you’ll be in the same environment, but some of the people will be different and you’re not quite sure what the vibes will be.

This time around, in particular, feels that way because for the first time in the show’s 11-season run, Captain Lee Rosbach is no longer at the helm. It’s a pivotal moment for a franchise that has become one of the most popular entities in the sprawling universe of reality TV since premiering on Bravo in 2013 . The show’s appeal was built on endless romances between various crew members (“boatmances,” as they came to be known), horrible charter guests and some sort of passive-aggressive fight about how many shackles of the anchor chain should be in the water. And there was always Rosbach presiding over the drama as he trudged around the boat, reeling off one liners like “I’m madder than a pissed-on chicken” and “we screwed the pooch so many times we should have a litter of puppies running around.”

At the center of the show now is Kerry Titheradge (the stern yet goofy captain of “Below Deck Adventure” fame), who is managing the Motor Yacht Saint David with the cheeky chief stew Fraser Olender by his side.

With that change in captain, the energy on the boat — both onscreen and off — is different, according to Olender.

“I feel like Kerry this season, as opposed to Lee, has a no B.S. attitude, which I love with him,” Olender said in an interview. “With Kerry, he taught me a lot and sort of forced to me confront issues directly with my team, work them out, as opposed to making executive decisions too soon.”

This shift in management style changes the central conflict — whereas the drama once focused on the captain swiftly kicking out any unpleasant crew member (as we might have seen with Rosbach), the drama now focuses on the whole crew trying to get along (since Titheradge gives people those second chances).

Additionally, Olender noted that the captain’s relationship with the crew can also affect the drama on board.

“Captains absolutely do get involved, whether they know it or not,” Olender said, adding that for the crew, everything is about “trying to impress your captain.”

This phenomenon plays out early in the new season when the lead deckhand, Ben Willoughby, called out a fellow crew member over the radios about not wearing a life vest — something he easily could have done in private. The drama that followed became an interpersonal conflict between the two of them, both with the ultimate goal of impressing Titheradge. (Of course, the two deckhands had kissed on the previous crew night out, which is more in line with the “Below Deck” drama viewers are used to.)

For “Below Deck” showrunners, the changeovers in the cast allowed them to rethink what the show would look like.

From the season premiere, it was immediately apparent that Rosbach’s absence wasn’t the only change this season: The filming is sleeker, the daily, multicourse meals prepared by the chef are given their own glamour shots and the cameras sometimes cut to the perspectives of yachties running around on deck and through the galley.

“Our showrunner, Lauren Simms, is an avid consumer of all different kinds of media,” Noah Samton, a senior vice president of unscripted current production for NBCUniversal, said in an interview. “She pitches us different ideas on how to stylistically evoke different feelings and change the mood a little bit of ‘Below Deck’ without removing what really works.”

Moving through the rest of the season, and potentially through seasons to come, Olender is aiming to bring a cutthroat management style while also bringing affection for his stews, all with his signature British humor.

On Bravo’s side, there are changes in the works for the other “Below Deck” spinoffs — including “Sailing Yacht,” “Mediterranean” and “Down Under” — which collectively, have 26 seasons. Specifically, Samton said that “Down Under” is currently filming and that even though fans should be ready to see new things, the show will stay true to its original concept.

“These are real yachties doing a real job so you have to stay within those confines because the audience isn’t going to want anything that is too produced or fake,” Samton said. “So we have to find ways to reinvent while staying true to the original concept of the show.”

And as Olender said: “I’m sure that every year if I were to work with this franchise again, that I’ll be thrown a collection of total chaotic and disastrous stews — that’s what makes it watchable.”
