What Is Boat School And Where to Find It

Boat School, like the other Schools around San Andreas, will help improve your handling of various vehicles ; in this case, boats! Boat School will become available once you've completed the story mission " Deconstruction ". The school is in Bayside, on the far northwest of the map. The location can be seen circled below:

How to Complete the Basic Seamanship Test

Basic seamanship test completed.

This first test is deceptive. You simply need to accelerate and then brake coming to a stop between the two sets of buoys. Doing this doesn't guarantee Gold, so hit the brake a little earlier than you would expect. Coming to a stop just before the halfway point of the buoys seems to be the sweet spot .

How to Complete the Plot A Course Test

Plot a course test completed.

This second test is simple. You must simply ensure you pass through the middle of each set of buoys. This will demand some sharp turns , particularly with the first few sets of buoys, so don't constantly accelerate out of the gate. As long as you don't miss any buoys, or hit into any for that matter, the Gold will be yours!

How to Complete the Fresh Slalom Test

This is arguably the hardest of the bunch due it the tightness of not only its turns but also the time restrictions. You will want to accelerate non-stop and pass through each set of buoys, but be prepared to hit the handbrake to veer around corners. If this is proving tough for you, beginning to turn the boat as you drift through the buoys also works a treat . Pay close attention to your mini-map to see the next set of buoys to pass through , as you can become disoriented as there are many buoys in view at any one time. So long as you don't damage the boat and finish the course under 1:20 , you will get the Gold.

How to Complete the Flying Fish Test

This test can appear very difficult at first, but there's a foolproof method to guarantee Gold. As soon as you start, head towards the bridge on your right (the further right the better to align with the ramp) , then spin around as you near it, holding the accelerator down the whole time. Then aim towards the yellow markers on your mini-map, and square yourself up with the ramp to launch off of it and land between the two sets of buoys. Anything over 65m will get you your Gold medal.

How to Complete the Land, Sea, and Air Test

The final test is thankfully simple too. It is a long course, but the time allowance for a Gold medal is generous (over 2 minutes), so you should focus on holding the accelerator down, using the handbrake where needed, and ensuring you don't damage the hovercraft - the damage penalty is the one thing that can demote you to a Silver .

Yacht Harbor

Yacht Harbor is the pier and pedestrian mall located in the heart of Santa Maria Beach in Los Santos , San Andreas . It provides recreational opportunities to locals and tourists, and is the final destination of the missions High Stakes, Low Rider and Snail Trail in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas . Yacht Harbor is modeled after Santa Monica Pier in western Los Angeles , whose sign (which bears the words Yacht Harbor ) is strikingly similar to that of Yacht Harbor.

Events of GTA San Andreas

After participating in a lowrider rhythm contest , Cesar Vialpando invites Carl Johnson to participate in yet another lowrider event, this time a street race. Here CJ races through the western portion of Los Santos. He beat the other participants to the finish line in Yacht Harbor, thus winning a prize of $ 1000.

Later, after arriving in San Fierro to find the "prize" he won in a street race to be nothing more than an abandoned garage in the city's industrial district , Carl has his work cut out for him. As he begins developing his entrepreneurial skills in this new city, Carl receives a rather unwelcome (but not entirely unexpected) visit from C.R.A.S.H. officers Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski , who have been monitoring Carl's movements and forcing him to do their dirty work ever since his exile from Los Santos. This time is no different: during the mission Snail Trail , Pulaski, whose corruption has become all too obvious to a witness threatening to speak to the press, demands that Carl follow and kill both the witness and the reporter he is meeting. As the witness leaves by train from San Fierro's Cranberry Station , Carl follows close behind, all the way to Market Station in western Los Santos. From here, Carl stealthfully trails the witness, who hails a Taxi and rides through the streets of the Marina and Rodeo districts, until finally stopping at Yacht Harbor. Here, Carl takes his opportunity, and kills both the witness and the newspaper reporter he is meeting while they talk at the end of the pier.

The Yacht is owned by Juan Cortez , and is featured in all the missions Tommy Vercetti does for him. In the mission All Hands On Deck! , Tommy must defend the boat from the attacking GIGN and DGSE agents. You can enter the Yacht using a helicopter : land it next to the boat and then jump aboard it.

The yacht appearing in TBoGT is owned by criminal Frickie Van Hardenburg . During the events of the game Luis Fernando Lopez is ordered by Yusuf Amir to steal the Buzzard helicopter off the boat and destroy it. This time, the Yacht is larger and has a helipad. Unlike in GTA: Vice City , you can now enter it.

The boat can be driven with the use of mods, and it makes a cameo in GTA V in the movie Meltdown .

Michael De Santa  is told by  Jimmy  that  Tracey  is hanging out with porn actors on a yacht named the Dignity and goes to stop them, then takes Tracey back to shore.

In Grand Theft Auto Online , the Dignity reappears as the location of a heist preparation mission , being owned by the Vagos . It also appears as a location for the Slasher Adversary Mode on the enhanced version .

Also in GTA Online after the Executives and Other Criminals update (enhanced version only) is the Galaxy Super Yacht, which can be purchased by the GTA Online Protagonist , functions as a safehouse , and comes with several other vehicles.
