The client devoted countless hours to finding the essential ingredients, right down to personally selecting pieces of veneer for the central staircase. Feadship has announced the launch of their 71m superyacht Juice . 

This weekend saw the undocking of the 71m  Juice from the Feadship construction hall in the Dutch capital. Observers were able to take in all the features of this new Feadship: a blend of polished stainless steel, glass and teak offer a classic feel while the exterior lines showcase a sleek and contemporary feel.

The owner of Juice , a repeat client for Feadship, has worked with the designers at RWD to ensure a refined exterior with soft lines and distinctive creases. All unnecessary elements have been removed to generate an elegant yet masculine look. Another instantly visible aspect is the walk-around superstructure along with a striking coherence between the decks on a superyacht that highlights Feadship’s ability to meet demands.

From the pillars and the stairs to the base of the large eight-metre pool on the main deck, all structural parts of the exterior have been finished in polished stainless steel. Transparent features are made of glass, including the railings and the sides of the pool, and large flat and curved glazed panels ensure unrestricted views.

Everything one touches outdoors, from the aft saloon doors to the hand and cap rails, has been considered by the designers to give a feeling of warmth and comfort. Beneath the flush foredeck are housed three custom tenders – a 10m limo, 8m guest RIB and a rescue boat – that are launched via the gullwing doors in the hull.

Peter Marino has drawn an interior which is focused on using beautiful materials. Again, the client devoted time to finding the essential ingredients, right down to personally selecting pieces of veneer for the central staircase. This attention to detail are why the owner came to Feadship: every element on board has been meticulously designed and built, with nothing left to chance.

Juice has a complete owner’s deck between the bridge and main decks, an unusual acquisition for a yacht of this size. She also features four impressive guest suites on the main deck, a large beach club, a lower deck cinema, and a gymnasium on the sun deck.

The name reflects the fact that the owner is a keen collector of modern art and the 3D logo of the name on the funnel is inspired by an eponymous 1967 work by American artist Ed Ruscha. Auction connoisseurs will recognise the nod to ‘juice on top’, an expression from that world with a similar meaning to ‘icing on the cake’.

The above graph highlights Feadship's deliveries since 2015 and their average LOA(m). In the six years between 2015-2020 Feadship have on average made five deliveries every year, 2021 saw an increase on this and made seven deliveries, with 2022 hoping to continue this growth.

EXCLUSIVE: 71m FEADSHIP YACHT JUICE LAUNCHED

This morning  Feadship  launched their first yacht of 2022 from their facility in Amsterdam, the 71.10-metre  Juice , formerly known under her build number 820.

The exterior lines of  Juice  are from the drawing board of British design studio  RWD , while her naval architecture was penned by  Feadship   De Voogt Naval Architects . Both of whom worked closely with the owner to conceive a design that is elegant, masculine and in strict harmony across all deck spaces. Polished stainless steel was the choice material for all structural areas, including the pillars, stairs and base of the eight-metre pool, located on the main deck.  RWD  also made great use of glass.

Peter Marino  headed her interior design and configured her with five staterooms: a complete owner's deck, between the bridge and main deck, and four further guest suites on the main deck.   Juice 's other standout features include a large beach club, a lower deck cinema and a gym on her sundeck. This displacement motor yacht has approximately 1,550 gross tonnes, space enough to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests alongside 24 crew members.  

Those familiar with the art scene may recognise the inspiration for her naming and logo. The owner opted for " Juice " to reference the expression "juice on top", which comes out of the auction houses, and which has a similar meaning to "icing on the cake". While her 3D logo pays tribute to the eponymous 1967 work by American artist Ed Ruscha.

Superyacht  Juice  has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure and her top deck is built out of composite.

First Feadship of 2022 Launched: 71m JUICE

During an incredibly exciting weekend for new superyacht launches, Feadship’s latest custom creation 71m JUICE has hit the water.

Built for a repeat Feadship client and flaunting a RWD exterior design, JUICE is another exemplary example of Dutch engineering and British design. ‘ All unnecessary elements have been removed, ’ Feadship issued in a statement, commenting on the yacht’s elegant yet assertive profile.  

Closer akin to a stately home than a yacht, complete with pillars and large 8m pool on the main deck, all structural exterior features are finished in polished stainless steel. Glass surfaces such as the railings and pool sides offer spaciousness and unrestricted views throughout.

Warmth and comfort form the primary design ethos aboard JUICE. Peter Marino, commissioned for the interior, has done this using the finest materials luxury design can offer. Working alongside the client, every detail down to the specific veneer for the central staircase has been meticulously curated. 

Another notable feature is JUICE’s wrap-around superstructure, offering greater synchronicity between the decks. With a dedicated owner’s deck between the bridge and main decks, the yacht offers an alternative configuration for a vessel of her size. These are complemented by four guest suites on the main deck, a large beach club, lower deck cinema and gymnasium on the sun deck.

JUICE has been named to reflect her owner’s enthusiasm for modern art. Feadship has confirmed that the logo of her name on the funnel is inspired by a 1967 work by American artist Ed Ruscha.
