HOME is a luxury superyacht that combines a super-efficient FDHF hull with hybrid propulsion to offer a greener cruising experience with less noise and vibration.

With a nine-metre beam and a spacious 499GT interior, the HOME yacht lends herself well to the charter market.

Exterior Design & Engineering

The HOME motor yacht was built by Heesen in 2017 to an exterior design by Omega Architects. She boasts a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) by Van Oossanen Naval Architects and a hybrid propulsion system.

Powered by twin 805 Hp MTU engines, two e-motors and two generators, the HOME yacht has a top speed of 16.5 knots and cruises at 13 knots. She also comes with Naiad zero-speed stabilisers for added comfort.

The main salon is equipped with a large leather L-shaped sofa facing a TV screen and a formal dining area beyond. Large sliding glass doors connect it to the aft deck, where xxx

The main deck connects effortlessly to her oversized swim platform, where there’s lots of room for daybeds and sunrise yoga sessions. It’s here that you can access her air-conditioned gym, kitted out with a range of equipment including a workout bench, Techno Gym dumbbells, an exercise bike and a rowing machine.

On the upper deck of the HOME yacht, the casual sky lounge with its bean bags and panoramic views provides a breezy extension to the alfresco dining terrace. The sun deck has a raised Jacuzzi, perfect for sipping on champagne while you take in the uninterrupted views. Under the covered area amidship you’ll find a sit-up bar opposite arm chairs with a coffee table. At night, the bar can light up to provide the ultimate party atmosphere. If you need to rest after a big night, or simply want to soak up the sunshine, the sun loungers are perfectly sheltered from spray and wind by privacy screens.

Interior Design

The beach club feel continues with Cristiano Gatto’s interiors which bring the teak inside to create a carefree Ibiza vibe. Floor-length windows help maintain a strong connection to the sea throughout the HOME motor yacht.

Up to 12 guests can be accommodated across six cabins on the HOME yacht. There’s a full-beam owner’s suite forward on the main deck with a dressing area, private office, and en suite with bath and shower. The rest of the cabins comprise a VIP suite, two double guest cabins and two twins on the lower deck.

Toys & Tenders

The HOME yacht for sale is complemented by a 6.5-metre Williams LC Jet tender that can reach 35 knots and seats eight guests plus two crew. She’s also sold with a collection of water toys that includes waverunners with audio, paddle boards, skis, inflatables, and equipment for snorkelling and scuba diving.

Christina O up for Sale

Are you in the market for a superyacht that defines the term legendary? Christina O, the former superyacht of Aristotle Onassis, is up for sale by international superyacht firm Edmiston. For an asking price around $32 million, this palatial 99-meter luxury liner can be yours. The famous vessel was the backdrop to one of the century’s most high-profile romances, between Aristotle Onassis and Jackie Kennedy, the former wife of U.S. President John F Kennedy, and even served as the site of their 1968 wedding. With a high society guest list that included Hollywood stars, reigning monarchs, and the political giants of the day, the elegant vessel has earned an enduring place in history.

Built in 1943, Christina O was originally a World War II Canadian anti-submarine frigate, serving as a convoy escort during the Battle of the Atlantic and present at the D-Day landings. After the war, she was one of many surplus vessels, and shipping magnate Onassis purchased her as scrap metal for $34,000 in 1954. After gutting her, he invested the equivalent of $45 million today in extensive renovations to turn her into a glamorous party vessel.

The luxurious liner was as famous for its on-board romances as it was for its extravagant parties. When Prince Rainier of Monaco wed Grace Kelly in 1958, they held their wedding reception on the vessel. Prior to marrying Jackie Kennedy, Onassis carried on a famous love affair with opera singer Maria Callas on board as they cruised across Europe. Capable of accommodating 36 guests in 18 opulent staterooms, she played host to a guest list that included twice-married Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton as well as luminaries John F Kennedy, Sir Winston Churchill, King Farouk of Egypt, King Faud of Saudi Arabia, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and John Wayne.

Onassis died in 1975, leaving the yacht to his daughter, Christina, in his will. She in turn bequeathed it to the Greek government as a presidential yacht, where it fell into disrepair before a substantial renovation returned it to its former glory in 2001. On-board amenities include the famous minotaur-themed mosaic floored pool that converts to a dance floor at the touch of a button, as well as a library, children’s playroom, fitness center, beauty salon and massage room, and jacuzzi.

How this brokerage firm stole the spotlight in 2023

Sales triumphs

In the fiercely competitive world of yacht brokerage, Edmiston has showcased unparalleled prowess, solidifying its position as a leader in 2023. The brokerage firm has achieved remarkable milestones, with standout sales including the in-house transaction of 60.9-metre Samadhi just 92 days after coming on the market, the in-house sale of 74-metre Andrea (formerly Lady Jorgia ), and the ground-breaking sale of 85.9-metre Aquijo , the largest sailing yacht of the year. Notably, the in-house deal of 49.8-metre Perseus (formerly Silencio ) secured the title of the fastest pedigree sailing yacht sale in 2023.

Edmiston's dominance extends beyond individual achievements, boasting more brokerage deals for yachts over 30 metres than any other firm. The efficiency of the team is evident, with the average time to sell an Edmiston yacht being half of the global average. Notably, Edmiston has claimed 50 per cent of the market share in Feadship sales and a 20 per cent market share for yachts sold over 65 metres. As we look ahead to 2024, the firm is already steering towards success with significant new-build projects on the horizon.

Expanding the fleet

Edmiston's growth in 2023 is further underscored by a healthy increase in new charter yachts to its central agency fleet, including several standout yachts: 115-metre Ahpo , 90-metre DAR , 72-metre Arbema and 64.5-metre Silver Angel . Despite selling five yachts from the fleet, Edmiston's central agency portfolio continues to expand, a testament to the firm's ability to attract and represent some of the finest yachts on the market.

“The key to this year’s successes has once again been the close collaboration of our highly diverse, experienced, driven and nimble team backed by the Edmiston platform," says Alex Koersvelt, commercial director at Edmiston.

Taking centre stage at yacht shows

Edmiston's presence at major events in the global yachting calendar, including the Monaco Yacht Show and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) , was nothing short of spectacular. Showcasing an exceptional brand presence and displaying top-pedigree yachts, these events were pivotal in reinforcing Edmiston's influence and reach in the industry.

In an ongoing commitment to elevate client experiences during boat shows and events, Edmiston has recently undergone a significant redesign of the interior and exterior of the Edmiston London Heliport. This transformation ensures that the facility is not only aesthetically refined but also optimised for the swift and seamless transportation of guests to and from events. Distinguished as the only CAA-approved heliport in the capital, with authorisation for 12,000 take-offs and landings annually, the Edmiston London Heliport offers a premium solution for clients seeking efficient and exclusive aerial transport.

For those traveling to and from Farnborough Airport, the experience is further enhanced with access to the exclusive Edmiston lounge, providing an added layer of luxury to every journey.

Strategic partnerships

In May 2023, Edmiston's collaboration with US aircraft designer and developer Gulfstream marked a significant milestone. Named as Gulfstream's international sales representative for the UK and the Channel Islands, Edmiston now seamlessly integrates luxury yacht experiences with private air travel. This partnership not only strengthens the synergy between yachts and private aircraft but also allows Edmiston to offer unparalleled luxury travel packages to its discerning clientele.

In addition to this, Edmiston's sponsorship of Goodwood for the Festival of Speed and Revival events in 2023 marked a unique collaboration in the automotive industry. This partnership not only showcased Edmiston's dedication to exciting experiences but also facilitated a helicopter airbridge, whisking guests from The Edmiston London Heliport to Goodwood's Heliport in just 20 minutes, adding a touch of luxury to the festivities.

Nurturing the future and preserving the seas

Beyond business success, Edmiston has continued its exceptional work with the Edmiston Foundation, making a positive impact in 2023. Collaborating with UKSA (United Kingdom Sailing Academy) and the Conservation Collective, Edmiston has supported educational and conservation initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to giving back to the community. Edmiston Reveals Full Lineup Ahead of Monaco ‘22

With the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) only two weeks away, leading superyacht brokerage firm Edmiston has revealed what yachts it will bring to the show’s 31st edition.

At this year’s MYS, Edmiston is showcasing a star-studded line-up. With an impressive 12 yachts on display, ranging from 59m to 39m and all for sale and/or charter, the London-based broker certainly has plenty to present to the visitors of MYS. Each Edmiston vessel can be booked for a viewing during the show, offering those interested a chance to explore each impressive superyacht up close.

Oceanco’s 59.1m/194ft Helios will attend MYS 2022: the largest yacht within Edmiston’s fleet in Monaco. Delivered in 2001, the 59m vessel underwent an extensive refit this year and is now more than ready to welcome her new owner onboard, currently listed for sale for €37,000,000. Helios is also available for charter, and is certainly the perfect superyacht to retreat with friends, as she offers accommodation for 14. Her charter rate is currently €400,000 per week. 58m/189ft Twizzle was delivered in 2010 by Royal Huisman. Following a thorough refit in 2021, the impressive sailing yacht is now listed for sale with Edmiston for €39,900,000. Able to accommodate eight guests across four contemporary cabins, Twizzle presents an unparalleled yachting experience in the utmost comfort. Twizzle will be located at Quai L’Hirondelle H12 across the show’s four days.

Available for charter from €230,000 per week is Alloy Yachts’ 56m/185ft Salvaje. The luxury 56m sailing yacht becomes an exceptional home away from home for ten guests across three double cabins and two twin cabins. As an award-winning sailing yacht, Salvaje effortlessly blends timeless elegance with modern finishes. She will be available for viewings at anchor.

PINK GIN VI

Pink Gin VI stands proud at 54m/176ft. Built by Baltic Yachts and delivered in 2017, Pink Gin VI is yet another refreshed vessel, undergoing a unique, industrial-style refit this year. With six trendy cabins accommodating 12 guests onboard, the 54m sailing yacht presents a modern escape that is truly one of a kind. Pink Gin VI is listed for sale for €29,500,000 (EU VAT paid) and will be located at Quai L’Hirondelle H11 throughout the show.

Delivered in 2008 by Ortona Navi, 50m/164ft Arbema is yet another spectacular motor yacht currently for sale and charter with Edmiston. With brand new features after a comprehensive refit this year, Arbema offers 12 guests the utmost luxury in six modern cabins and an array of chic exterior and interior spaces. She is listed for sale at €14,995,000 and her charter rate starts from €170,000 per week. Arbema will be located at Quai L’Hirondelle H19.

SILENCIO  

Another Edmiston sailing yacht listed for both sale and charter is the 49.8m/163.5ft Silencio. Delivered in 2001 by Perini Navi, Silencio underwent a thorough refit in 2021, now boasting sublime interiors that are finished with warm woods and light-toned soft furnishings. With accommodation for eight in four cabins, Silencio is an exemplary short-term charter vessel or long-term personal superyacht. She is listed for sale at €14,500,000 (EU VAT paid), and available for charter from €150,000 per week. Silencio will be located at anchor during MYS.

Feadship’s 48.2m/158.2ft motor yacht Gitana will be on display with Edmiston at Quai Chicane C17. Listed for sale for €16,500,000 (US Duty paid), Gitana is an incredible superyacht from the early builds of the Dutch shipyard, delivered in 1997. Despite her age, a new refit this year has left her in amazing condition, ready to take on the world with her new owner. 

An icon of the water, Feadship’s 46.6m/153ft Kiss will certainly attract the crowds of Monaco to her decks. Currently for sale at €31,500,000 (EU VAT paid), the 2015 delivered motor yacht is 'up-there' with the Dutch yard’s most recognisable vessels. Sleeping 12 guests in six gorgeously sleek suites, and offering several areas onboard for relaxing or entertaining, Kiss has become an even more spectacular superyacht after her refit this year. At 47m, 154ft, Giaola Lu boasts warm and comfortable interiors and an array of versatile spaces both inside and out. Delivered in 2016 by Bilgin Yachts, the 47m vessel can accommodate 12 guests in six cabins, and has an enjoyable cruising speed of 12 knots. Listed for sale at €18,500,000, Giaola Lu will be based at Quai L’Hirondelle H21 for viewings. 

BLUE VISION

A brilliant Benetti build is exemplified in the 2007 delivered Blue Vision. At 43.6m/143.1ft in length with four generous decks and five bright cabins accommodating ten guests, all of which were recently refitted earlier this year, the 43.6m motor yacht is now more than ready to take on her new owner, listed for sale at €11,500,000. LADY CHARLOTTE

Another Feadship build attending MYS as part of Edmiston’s impressive fleet is the 41.5m/136ft Lady Charlotte. Following a refit in 2020, the glistening white vessel now features homely interiors adorned in a calm-toned colour palette, able to accommodate eight guests in four cabins. Lady Charlotte is currently available for sale for €17,500,000 (EU VAT paid) and can be viewed at Quai L’Hirondelle H23. 

STATE OF GRACE

The smallest but certainly not least impressive member of Edmiston’s MYS fleet this year is the 39m/129ft Perini Navi sailing yacht, State of Grace. Yet another yacht to undergo a brand-new refit this year, the 39m sailing yacht features contemporary and carefully thought-out interior design, perfect for eight guests in four cabins. At €11,750,000, State of Grace could be yours. Visit her at Quai L’Hirondelle H27.
