Find your ferry

Krilo ferry company , also called Kapetan Luka, is one of the largest fast ferry / catamaran operators in Croatia. The company’s  main port is Split port , from where it has catamaran lines to the hot spots on Croatian islands. The most popular routes from Krilo are Split to Hvar  and Dubrovnik to Hvar . In addition to scheduled fast ferries, Krilo also offers the possibility of chartering one of the fast ferries for special events.

The Krilo catamarans do not have a unified design , some are white while some are in darker color, but all of them have either   KRILO JET or www.krilo.hr clearly painted on the sites of the vessel. Therefore, you shouldn’t have a problem identifying the catamarans.

Krilo – Kapetan Luka FAQs

Krilo has sale points in each port, some are there own, others are travel agencies located at or near the port. Alternatively you can easily buy the ticket online .

We do recommend to print the tickets and have them with you when boarding. However, if you have tickets on your phone, showing the QR code / PDF of the tickets when boarding should be fine as well.

Krilo fast ferries have plenty of space to store the luggage, and the company is usually pretty flexible with it. You’re allowed to bring one bag up to 20kg in weight, but passengers usually didn’t have problems if they brought heavier bags on board.

Yes you can, but you will have to buy a ticket for yourself and bicycle online upfront as there are only a few places for bicycles on each departure.

Yes you can if you follow Krilo’s rules which are the following: Muzzle is needed for all animals. PETS can only be transported if they do not present danger or disturbance to passengers or boat. Owners take the risk of travel and are responsible for any damages. Dogs need to have a muzzle (except for a blind person’s guide dog) and lead on the apron, cats in boxes and birds in the cage. Dogs and cats must have proper vaccination documents. On the high speed lines, small pets are allowed in the catamaran salon. Small pets are transported exclusively in the bag for carriage and transport of pets (transporter soft bag) – maximum dimensions 45 x 35 x 25 cm. The bottom of the bag must be watertight. The total weight of the bag with a pet should not exceed 8 kg. The bag must be kept under the seat or in the wrist during the entire journey. One passenger must have only one bag with a pet. Large pets are only allowed if the technical conditions are met on board (special boxes). If you are in doubt regarding bringing a pet, you should contact Krilo by mail .

No, except for the line Split – Hvar – Korcula all lines operate only in the summer season, usually from the beginning of April till the end of October.

Can we take the 10 am from split to korcula, leave our bags somewhere safe at korcula port, spend four hours on korcula then take the 16.30 onto dubrovnik? do we have to buy two separate tickets or can we get one allowing for break of journey?

the 10 am departure that you’re referring to is the catamaran line from Split to Korcula, but it doesn’t continue to Dubrovnik. Also, there is no morning departure for this line until June. There are also two more catamaran lines from Split to Dubrovnik that stop in Korcula. They all start operating during April or May with morning departures from Split at 7:30 and 7:40 am and afternoon departures from Dubrovnik at 4:00 and 4:30 pm. Regarding the tickets, you always buy a ticket for a single journey, i.e. you buy two separate tickets, one for Split – Korcula, the other for Korcula – Dubrovnik. In the end, we suggest you check directly with the port in Korcula whether they have some kind of luggage storage service they provide.

Tickets for a catamaran from Dubrovnik to Makarska are currently not available on our site. But you can book tickets directly on the website of Krilo company, or buy them directly in the port.

Ticket changes and refunds are solved on an individual level. It is possible to get a refund / change the ticket, but additional fees may apply. We recommend contacting the carrier directly in this case, the contact number should be visible on your ticket.

Krilo Kapetan Luka catamarans only stop at one port on the island, and that is in Hvar town. You can show your ticket on your phone, you don’t have to print it.

if referring to a catamaran line Pomena (Mljet) – Split operated by Krilo, then the catamaran stops at the following islands and ports along the way: – Korcula (Old Town) – Hvar Town (Hvar island) – Milna (Brac island) So, Pomena port is located on Mljet island, and the line does not travel to Vis island, unfortunately. Hope this is helpful.

We are going to be using the ferry service in August to travel from Dubrovnik – Korcula, Korcula – Hvar, Hvar – Brac and Brac – Split, stopping at least one night in each location. Please could you tell me the port names that each stop arrives at and the location on the islands, this will help in booking accommodation. Thank you in advance

no problem! So, here is the list of ports where you stop, from Dubrovnik to Split: 1. In Dubrovnik, the port is called Gruž and it is located about 3 km NW of Dubrovnik City Walls. 2. On Korcula island, the port is also called Korčula, it is located literally in Korčula Old Town. 3. On Hvar island, the port is also called Hvar, located in Hvar Old Town. 4. On Brac island, the port is called Bol, located in Bol (where the famous Zlatni Rat or Golden Horn beach is) 5. In Split, you arrive at the main port, right next to Old Town.

the departing point for Krilo line Zadar – Silba – Ilovik – Mali Lošinj – Susak – Unije – Pula is located across the Old Town, on Barkajol pier, right next to the marina. You can access the pier from Obala kneza Trpimira street.

according to our information, it departs from the pier on Obala kneza Trpimira. However, I suggest you double-check that, if the Tourist Info in Zadar gave you different information, it might be that there were some changes recently.

Hi, Is there a ferry from Hvar to Korcula that I can take a bicycle on in July?

Yes, there is, but you will have to buy a ticket for yourself and bicycle online upfront as there are only a few places for bicycles on each departure.

I have 2 questions: 1) My Kid is 2.5 years old, do i need to buy ticket for him? 2) Split-Bol, where is the location or stop of Catamaran in Split, how far it is from old town and how soon we have to reach to the catamaran before the departure?

1) Usually, children aged 0-3 travel for free, but I suggest you double-check that information with the company. 2) The catamaran departs from the main city port, the pier is located at the beginning of the port, you will see Krilo – Kapetan Luka stand. It is recommended to arrive about 30 minutes before the departure.

the ferry departs from Gruž port in Dubrovnik, it is located about 3 km from the city walls. Anyway, it is recommended to arrive about 30 minutes before the departure.

officially, you’re allowed to bring one bag up to 20kg in weight. However, passengers usually don’t have problems if they bring heavier bags on board. The company is pretty flexible regarding this and it all largely depends on the space left in the catamaran.

Where exactly is Kapetan Luka Ferry terminal located in Dubrovnik? I am going to Korcula and have 2hrs to make my connection from the airport. This is a fairly tight timeline considering that a flight might be a bit late. Do you know if airport shuttle stops close to the ferry terminal?

Krilo – Kapetan Luka ferry terminal is located in Gruž Port, the main port in Dubrovnik. Yes, the shuttle bus stops basically in the port, so you won’t have problems finding a terminal on foot. The ride from the airport to the port is around 30 minutes, so you should get there on time.

Hello, I wanted to check if the ferries/catamarans are running on schedule since covid? I will of course check with the individual carrier but broadly speaking? You’ve said above that only drinks and snacks are available on board – is there a bar or something to pass the time? Our journey is 3 hours. And last question, can we sit outside on board, or inside only?

so far, everything is back to normal. All the ferries and catamarans are operating according to the official schedules. Yes, there is a small bar on ferries which serves drinks and some snacks. And yes, ferries have outdoor seats, but catamarans usually don’t have much space outside but you can always go outside and find some spot if there’s no big crowd.

if travelling with Krilo, there is only one ticket price, there are no discounts for children. In Dubrovnik, the ferry arrives in Dubrovnik port (Gruž port).

you can book your tickets online as the price is the same in both cases. Just pick the desired date and departure.

I bought a ticket that was supposed to connect Bol (Brac) to Dubrovnik. I got an e-mail less than 48h before departure that this line was cancelled, which forced me to buy another ticket, from Milna (Brac) to Dubrovnik. Of course, I had to catch a taxi between Bol and Milna on the day of the trip, and I’m seeking compensation for this, as it is an additional expense caused by Krilo. We are not talking about €5 or 30kn. I think it’s very poor customer service to cancel a line less than 2 days before the event itself and expect that ‘everything will be fine’ by just issuing a refund.

it is advisable to arrive at the ferry port at least 30 minutes before the departure. That is also the time when boarding starts.

I am catching the 10:10 ferry from Korcula to Dubrovnik tomorrow. Which port does the ferry leave from? I believe there is a wharf on the north side of the town and also one on the south side closer to the bus station. Thanks for your help 🙂

We recommend buying the ticket as soon as possible, as September is still considered high season in Croatia. And yes, there are a few stops on your way to Dubrovnik, but you just stay on the ferry (it won’t be stopping for too long).

there are shelf racks for luggage, on most ferries they are at the rear end. If the departure if full the shelf racks might also be and people then leave luggage on the floor around the rack, but nevertheless you should be able to access your luggage during the trip (Its not in a locked space). I would recommend you to be at the peer at least 15-20 minutes before the scheduled departure time, if you travel from Split i would even say 30 minutes before, as it takes some time to locate the right ferry.

generally, it is not necessary to book ferries in advance, only during the peak season in the summer to secure a place on the ferry. If you want to book the tickets in advance, you can do it the day or two before the departure.

Regarding the luggage, it is not convenient to leave your luggage on the boat because the catamarans continue their journey to the next destination immediately, they do not wait on the islands. Anyway, it might be something you want to discuss with the carrier directly.

When it comes to staying inside, yes, on catamarans you are advised to stay inside. Firstly because there is not much outside space and it is mostly intended for the crew. Secondly, catamarans are faster boats so it is much safer to stay inside.

First of all, leaving your car in the Old Town (the port is 2-3 minutes from the old Town) is something we would not recommend because it can be very pricey. However, yes, there are several parking lots around where you can leave your car. The closest one is at the beginning of Riva. there are also a few on Bacvice beach, from where you would need to take a short walk (up to 5 minutes).

the boarding pier for KL is the first pier when descending towards the ferry port. The dock is called Gat Sv Petra (St Peter pier). For luggage storage, you can ask at the ticket booth whether they provide such a service, but you can always use the luggage storage at the train and bus stations 2 minutes away.

the general rule is that car ferries has outdoor seating, fast ferries / catamarans, do not. From Split to Supertar on Brac, you have a car ferry, from Brac island to Hvar, there is only catamaran, from Hvar back to Split, you can take care ferry from Stari Grad to Split.

Note: The water is normally quite calm during summer months, so to me traveling with the Catamaran, feels like a bus trip.

luckily, the bus station in Dubrovnik is only about 5 minutes by foot from the ferry port. Just follow the road along the sea (Northwest direction), and you will notice it.

you will have enough time to catch the 10:00 AM catamaran. The ferry terminal is a short walk from the train station, but I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your departure. I would definitely book the tickets online in advance. The catamaran docks at Korčula Town.

Where does it read that which port or which dock or where excatly the Krilo catamaran from Split to Hvar leave? And hopefully it will leave on the same place than yesterday? It was very difficult to find the right pear or dock or what ever you call it when there is million ships around the port in Split. And nobody seemed to know where does this Krilo company leave.

je suis tres instable et comme je doute de plus en plus de pouvoir mener a bien mon projet de nav australe ( c'est pas encore pour tout de suite a cause des sous), j'envisgae des portes de sortie.. dans cet esprit je pensais que si j'etais contraint de rester dans des eaux "civilisées" un bateau genre bopmbe extreme serait en accord avec ma recherche d'emotions fortes j'ai regardé les formule 40, les 50 et 60 open d'occas, les newick d'occas, tout ca est toujours trop cher pour moi, alors je me dit quid qu'un cata modeste mais hyper rapide comme le KL28, c'est peu etre bien pour les vieux excités, histoire de faire marseille minorque en 15h!!! a donf. est ce que on peut emmener ce genre d'embarcation en pleine mer, et quid du pres dans la brise...que fait on si on chavire etc....

tres bon bateau mais c est sur pas adapte a la pleine mer enfin c est sur que retourne tu ne serras pas trop alaise !!! mais que veus tu ???pas long pas lourd et bien toile tu as beaucoup plus de risque de te retourne sur un kl 28 que sur un formule 40 !!!! c est pas a toi que l on vat expliquer ca !!!

Il sont presque aussi toilés que mon panzer de 11t ca doit pousser il doit bien y avoir un moyen de les remettre a l'endroit???

pas simple non moi avec un tri du meme gabarit il a fallut a chaque fois la grue pour se remettre a l endroit et quand ca y vat on y vat vite a l envers rien qu a faire un enpanage dans de la mer tu as peur !!! c est grisant mais a oublier si tu veus un bateau securite

Il y a plusieurs KL28 : Le standard petit gréement L'espace avec un mini roof central Le trophée grand gréement.

Tous ne sont pas égaux en terme de performance et de risque de chavirage.

Ce sont de bons bateaux. Pour sortir en haute mer, il faut je pense un bon niveau. Le prés dans la brise, j'ai essayé sur eau plate, ca marche bien, mais j'ai pas essayé dans une mer forte.

J'ai navigué là-dessus. Passage de la Teignouse par beau temps, à rattraper la houle. Entrée dans le golfe un peu avant la renverse, slalom au milieu des croiseurs qu'on croirait immobiles.

Tu pilotes (le terme barrer n'est plus adapté). La barre reste douce malgré la vitesse. Tu places le bateau au millimètre. Il réagit immédiatement au moindre coup de barre. Mieux vaut se tenir pour ne pas être éjecté pendant les empannages et les virements. Une risée sous spi. Tu vois la voile se tendre. Ton corps se soulève lentement pendant qu'à l'autre extrémité, l'étrave sous le vent disparaît peu à peu sous l'eau. Le bateau n'arrête pas d'accélérer. La vague d'étrave monte à la verticale et retombe au niveau du winch de génois. Il fait beau et pourtant, tout le monde est rincé.

Choquer, lofer, ou tenir encore un peu ? A toi de convaincre les autres, qui te regardent avec un drôle d'air, mi envieux, mi inquiets, que tout va bien, que tu maitrises la situation. il y a la petite voix qui susurre à ton oreille que si tu cabanes, ca va chier très fort. Mais, un cata de 28 pieds qui pousse, c'est une drogue dure. Alors, la petite voix, tu m'emmerdes. Impossible de s'arrêter. Tu dis "pas de problème les gars, c'est le pied !" tout en serrant encore un peu plus les fesses. Ils te croient. Il n'y a plus que le bateau. Ou plutôt des éléments du bateau : le guindant du spi, l'étrave sous le vent, ton cap. Tu ressens physiquement le bateau par la barre et par tes appuis, assis au niveau de la poupe de la coque au vent. Tu navigues sur le fil d'un rasoir, et tout est sous contrôle, car tu as entre tes mains l'outil le plus aiguisé du monde.

Un pied d'enfer.

Mieux dit que moi, je confirme en tout point, bien décrit, surtout l'inquiétude des passagers. Drogue dure : et oui ! La sensation du bon réglage au bon moment au bon angle qui te donne la sensation d'un emballement assez furieux et parfois vertigineux. Gueuler pour dire a tout le monde de se mettre a l'arrière, de faire attention à l'écoute, jouer finement avec le stick pour aiguiser cette puissance, profiter d'une vague, etc ... L'impression de voler au dessus de l'eau accroché à un vent puissant.

Tu peut racourcir le mat de moitier. Sinon essaye de mousser l'interieur du mat.

a vrai dire si j'avais les sous ( car c'est au cas ou je vends vraiment correlation) j'aurais deux bateaux un pour la vraie mer et celui la pour le fun.. le F40 a 39000€ le F28 a 25000 le newick 31 tout ca c'est des betes , hier je les ai tous vu ( en image)...

Ca dépend aussi où tu navigues, notamment envisage tu l'échouage ? Parce que la plupart des Kat 28 ont des dérives, mais les safrans ne sont pas relevables. Pour ceux qui ont des plans fixes, je ne sais pas si ca pose problème. J'ai navigué deux fois avec et courut contre, ca déboule bien. J'ai eu 2 catas open, dont un Corneel 26 que l'on trouve d'occasion. Un peu moins olé que le Kat 28. Assez marin, celui que j'avais était venu de mada à mayotte. Pas de problème d'échouage, un peu plus de place que sur le 28.

l avantage du kl 28 c est que c est facile a transporter et que c est vraiment pas cher donc c est sur c est le bateau ideal pour un deuxieme bateaux de fun et dans ce cas la prends un un kl 28 trophe et tu as un bon avion amusant c est a mon avis le super compromis mais de la a faire de la haute mer !!! je reste perplexe et pourtant j ai pas froid aux yeux !!!!!!!!!

ma copine gueulerait en supposant que je pretende maitriser la chose ce qui n'est aujourd'hui qu'un fil du forum...mais si ca arrivait faudra bien qu'elle comprenne ou est pour son bien...grand mere 3 fois bientot 60 ans y'a pas de temps a perdre pour apprendre a barrer. sur mon char tout terrain hyper confort elle peut pas apprendre. je la pose dessus a quai je demarre doucement et quand elle comprend que ca tient on accelere...chez nous y'a le golfe de fos avec une progression bien pratique pour l'exposition au elements: un premier bassin tres abrité , puis le golfe lui meme portégé de la mer ( sauf SE ( S ca existe pas ici) et apres 2-3 mille c'est la mer ouverte, on peut beacher pendant plusieur milles sur la plage qui deborde le rhone ( mis a part l'histoire des safrans)

pour redresser le truc y'a rien dans votre culture genre mat flottant + systeme de paln sur ancre flottante ( ou pas)

Je connais peu le KL, je connais mieux le Corneel. Ce dernier a eu mes faveurs car bien que plus court, les flotteurs sont aussi volumineux et plus haut de franc bord; à ce titre je pense que le bateau gagne en confort. Et peut être en sécurité.

Je rappelle, car ça n'est pas mentionné ici, que la GV peut être arisée, et le génois réduit... ça semble évident mais sauf si Motu choisit la "conduite sportive", on peut très bien naviguer en sécurité pour peu d'adapter la toile. Je réduisais qd le vent atteignait 25 nds. Je pense qu'il vaut mieux considérer cette alternative plutôt que la mise au point un système de relevage

Par ailleurs, en cas de fort clapot, il ne vaut pas chercher à piper; en ouvrant l'angle entre la route et la direction des vagues, on gagne en vitesse et en confort; le bateau est mieux appuyé.

Ensuite, contrairement à ce que dit Christophe, le transport est possible, ok, mais le montage/démontage plutôt ardu.

je suis de ton avis qu il faut une apres midi pour monter le bateau mais c est possible et le poids du bateau n est pas insurmontable en traction donc pour un bateau de cette taille ca permet de changer de bassib de nav ce qui est deja super au dessus c est plus possible ou encore plus complique

Le Corneel est en 4ième catagorie; par ailleurs avec un certificat d'insubmersibilité. On s'éloigne vite des côtés, en effet, alors faudra plutôt songer à les longer. De toute façon, vu l'habitabilité, t'as pas prévu de passer des semaines en mer avec ce type de canot?

Le souci du KL28 comme la plus part des bateaux extrêmes n'est pas de savoir si le bateau peut faire une traversé Continent Corse, mais est ce que l'équipage peut le faire ? . Je ne parle pas que de la technique, car en prenant un ou deux ris on peut ralentir, la météo est plus fiable donc peu de risque de se prendre un gros coup de vent. Je veux parler du physique car se faire détremper pendant des heures sans pouvoir se reposer correctement, c'est pas toujours facile. Ces bestioles peuvent aller très vite, mais il faut rester concentré et attentif. Pour une navigation en pleine assez longue, le KL28 me semble vraiment sportif car assez bas sur l'eau. La version espace avec ce roof est déjà beaucoup plus reposant. On peu aussi rajouter le côté psychologique, car il faut être capable d'encaisser les coups de stress réguliers que peut occasionner ce genre d'engin à grande vitesse. . Je dirais pour s'amuser en côtier, le KL28 trophée super pour qui sait gérer. Pour une navigation en haute mer, je prendrais un multicoque plus facile. Pas sur qu'il arrive moins vite de l'autre coté de la mare, car il sera peut être mieux mené, surtout en fin de parcours.

Ile Rousse, Nice, c'est 95 miles torchés entre 8 a 10 heures si le vent offre des conditions de départ entre 10 à 12 kn. L'equipage qui accepte l'ID de ce cata, c'est pour profiter des sensations superbes de nav qu'il offre (si le vent le permet, on est plus qu'heureux). 2 à 3 (meme si y a un neophite) ne pose aucun probleme de STRESS à partir du moment ou est parfaitement compris que toute la sécurite repose sur une ecoute de grand voile TOUJOURS en main prete a etre choquée LI-BRE-MENT. Cela demande une vigilance parfaite qui est largement payée par les sensations si on se met en condition sportive ce qui n est pas obligé non plus. Pour l'equipement, il faut avoir une combi de plongée car, à 17 ou 18 kn, prendre des paquets d'eau a 19 degres en pleine tete, a force cela épuise si on ne l'a pas ni le masque de ski ou autre gadget. En nav normale, le bateau ne mouille pas. En nav, le roof permet d'abriter des gens qui n'ont peut etre rien a faire là ? mais ne repose en rien la nav. Parler de bateau extreme à cause du retournement possible, oui, mais pour une equipage garder à tour de role la vigilance sur une écoute, c'est pas non plus extrème. Je ne vois pas ce que serait un cata "plus facile", un cata se retourne si on ne fait pas attention, point barre ! Oui ca va vite, la seule chose qu il y a à "savoir gerer", c 'est vite choquer. Que celui qui est certain d'avoir une bande de pote de toute confiance pour aller jouer avec, n'hésite pas à jouer le KL28.

Bonsoir à tous. Propriétaire d'un KL 28 Trophée (à vendre...), je suis ravi de voir combien ce bateau fait toujours le buzz! Vos commentaires sont exhaustifs par rapport à tout ce qu'on peut penser de, faire avec et ressentir sur cette "machine de guerre" épurée. On n'achète pas un tel bateau en faisant une colonne pour et une contre, mais parce-qu'on en a envie, qu'on est préparé à la navigation sportive et qu'on accepte une courbe d'apprentissage. Le Trophée a été initialement conçu pour la course diurne dans la bande côtière; il est marin, simple, marche à 15-20 noeuds en routine, fait un près top, est sûr compte tenu de sa vitesse pour gagner rapidement un abris, et autorise le camping rudimentaire au port ou forain par beau temps, dans les coques et avec une tente sur le trampoline. Il permet de longues distances, 100 miles et plus, avec l'équipage ad hoc, du vent, une bonne météo et le repérage de points de chutes possibles. Les points de vigilance sont l'assiette latérale du bateau, facile à maîtriser (pas besoin de lever haut une coque, 60cm suffisent pour la délester et maximaliser la vitesse) avec écoute + chariot de GV, l'assiette longitudinale en fonction de la hauteur des vagues et de l'allure quand le vent forcit, et le cintre du mat à partir de 2 ris dans la GV (pour une navigation hauturière, le gréement devrait être modifié). Important également: aller vite va de pair avec anticiper la réaction des autres et préparer les manoeuvres. Je navigue dans les Pertuis en équipage réduit, par exemple mon épouse et mon jeune fils, et chaque navigation est un régal (effectivement les autres, voiliers et même moteurs, ont l'air arrêtés), et le jour où on veut "tirer dessus", un équipier supplémentaire ou deux. Au début je pensais avoir besoin d'un gennaker en plus du spi asy, mais GV + solent suffisent; et pour l'électronique, un GPS et une VHF portable. Le reste est superflu!

Est il navigable aisément en solo?

Je confirme en totalité les infos ci-dessous. Bateau tres rapide ( si y a du vent) et tres confortable avec bcp de place partout pour s'allonger. Homologué insubmersible 6 personnes jusqu'a 20 miles donc pas besoin de radeau. Vitesse de 20 kn et plus, 11 à 16 kn GPS sont la règle, plus rapide que le vent selon situtaion. La question du retournement est la meme que celle du coup de bome : vigilance de tous les instants selon conditions. Le confort total : beach dans 40 cm d'eau, aucun pb pour beacher direct sur le sable. Confort total car trampoline à l'avant a l arrière, pas besoin de matelas pour faire sa sieste ou son dodo, quasi 30 m carrés de platefome dispo dont 20 de trampo. Coques permettant de ranger tout ce qui est necessaire pour naviguer 10 jours a 5 : bouffe vetements, sacs de couchage, etc ... Tente Quechua 3 places tient à l'aise sur trampo avant gauche ou avant droit au mouillage. Naviguer seul dessus n'est pas simple sauf à avoir un pilote automatique pour changer les voiles, rentre très bien dans la vague. Dans les bonnes conditiosn de vent, les sensations sont les memes que sur un cata de sport : accélérations impressionantes, levée de coque (sans tout lever). Possibilité de dormir à 4 dans les coques : c'est un barteau pour s'amuser quand y a du vent et quand on est bien fataigué, on est contant de dormir sans aucun pb dans les coques. Le reste de la vie a bord est du camping en plain air et en pleine mer. Les prix du marché dépassent les 20000 selon l'état et c'est bien souvent justifié. Par rapport a un HC16, le KL 28 permet d'y vivre ses vacances pour pas beaucoup plus cher, pour beaucoup plus loin et plus de souvenirs.

je regarde activement le KL28 et le corneel dans l'esprit decrit ci dessus, en attendant d'avoir des sous...et effectivement je compte le cas echeant pouvoir le a seul..je ne vois pas pourquoi non...j'ai envoyé seul des spis de 180m2 j'arriverai j'espere a dompter cette bebette. mais les pratiquants de ce genre de machines pourront me le confirmer

Dans sa configuration initiale, le solo ne me parait pas raisonnable. Cela nécessiterait de repenser certaines opérations notamment l'envoi et l'affalage de l'immense GV, 2 moments où le bateau est peu manoeuvrant. Par contre le duo est facile.

une autre question que je me pose, est ce que cet engin est solide: dans mon coin (PSL marseille calanque est..) il est un peu illusoire de pretendre toujours naviguer par beau temps le vent monte facilement et rapidement a 25-30nds et la mer devient assez dure ...l'engin resiste t il sans se disloquer ( ceci mis a part la technicité du skipper). pour le solo de quelle modif parles tu: a vrai dire ma compagne n'est pas un equipier competent et depuis des dizaine d'années j'ai toujours manoeuvré seul cela est peut etre un ennui majeur??

JE me vois mal naviguer avec ce type d'engin en solo ou sans équipier compétent en Méditerranée où justement le vent peut varier fortement

Dans le clapot court et dur, la plateforme du corneel travaille bcp. Le mat rotatif et le gréément gigote un peu si on est trop serré. Il ne faut pas hésiter à abattre de qq degrés pour appuyer davantage le bateau. Sur le corneel sport (GV un peu plus modeste que sur le kl), manœuvrer seul la GV ne pose pas de problème pour peu que l on est un peu d eau à courrir. Pour ma part, je mettais le bouzin en route au point mort pendant la manoeuvre.

J'ai un KL 28 espace depuis 5 ans en méditerranée, pour des ballades pépères à la journée avec la petite famille, et c'est le pied (trampo pour la sieste, stabilité, place, pas de mal de mer...) Par contre, gros souci de corrosion : mat cassé au niveau barres de flèches l'été dernier, mise au sec et attente du verdict de l'expert sur l'état de structure (liaison poutres/flotteurs, corrosion poutres...). Si c'est réparable, nous remettrons au pot et repartirons en mer, car c'est un vrai bateau coup de coeur !

J'ai un kl 28 espace, je suis en contact avec un autre. Le plexiglass est-il faillencé autour des rivet ? Si oui as-tu fais un devis pour changer les plexiglass de la bulle ? Cordialement Guy

Le Kl 28 ou un engin similaire c'est le top jusqu'à 20 nœuds de vent. Après tu rentres dans le mode survie!! J' ai aimé mais maintenant que j'ai eu ma dose d'adrénaline, je commence a rêver a naviguer plus "pépère"! Avec ce genre de bestiole tu pousses TOUJOURS le bouchon un peu plus loin parce que tu as l'impression de le connaitre. Installer un système de largage automatique d' écoute de grand voile au niveau du point d'amure est une réelle sécurité. Mieux vaut avoir pratiqué sur du formule 18 avant.C'est un plus. Ce n'est qu' un avis...

Hello et bonjour à tous je fais parti du club ATSCAF Voile à Marseille et cet hivers, nous avons acheté et retapé un vieux KL 28 Espace qui pourrissait au port du Frioul. 3 mois de chantier, une grosse rénovation du mat bien corrodé sous les barres de flèche. On naviguait depuis Mars, gros plaisir mais voilà, la semaine dernière, patratas.... exit le mat :( cassé net au niveau de l'emplanture du losange puis flambé et brisé au tiers. Pas de bléssé, pas d'autre dégat mais c'est la cata ! Y avait il une faiblesse, a t'on trop tiré dessus ?

Nous sommes preneurs de tout conseil pour acheter un mat à pas cher (occasion ?) et aussi des recommandations pour naviguer en père tranquille

Quand le losange lâche (câble ou fixation) le mat casse instantanément. C'est le losange qui rigidifie le mat.

Le mat est largement assez solide pour emmener la cata jusqu'a cabaner, si ça a cassé c'est qu'il y avait une faiblesse (oxydation?).

Naviguer en père tranquille .... C'est pas l'idée! :-) Ca marche une patte en l'air ces bestioles là.

Attention aussi au système de forçage de mat - si il bloque - le mat peut flamber après un empennage sportif :-)

Bonjour, J'ai connu la même mésaventure, et heureusement sans blessé. Oxydation sous les barres de flèche... Il fallait entreprendre une restauration complète, en révisant aussi les poutres, changer les voiles bien usées, et reprendre quelques pet's sur les coques. Devant la difficulté pour trouver un mât et l'ampleur du budget, j'ai revendu le bateau à un rochelais motivé, qui voulait le retaper avec ses potes. Fin de la triste histoire
