‘Audacia’ is a 158.99ft  /48.46m  Custom motor yacht built in 1987 by Feadship and last refitted in 2011. This luxury vessel’s sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of De Voogt. Previously named Ulysses, her luxurious interior is designed by Joanne De Guardiola Design.

Audacia’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

Audacia’s impressive leisure and entertainment facilities make her the ideal charter yacht for socialising and entertaining with family and friends.

She is built with steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and has a cruising speed of 10 knots, a maximum speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,500nm from her 56,774litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.

This impressive yacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

A deck Jacuzzi is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the breath-taking views after a long day of exploration.

You’ll find Wi-Fi connection throughout, so you’ll be able to check emails or share your experience on social media. A gym onboard, equipped with the latest exercise equipment, means you’ll never miss a work out.

Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the most oppressive of days or nights.

Motor Yacht

The 48.50 metre (159’1”ft) custom-built Audacia yacht was launched in 1987 by Dutch shipyard Feadship and features a sophisticated exterior style by De Voogt Naval Architects, the in-house design studio who were also responsible for the naval architecture and layout on board.

The Larvor and Paola D. Smith interior flows through the layout offering ample accommodation for 12 guests in both style and comfort. Audacia, built with steel hull and aluminium superstructure, is an immaculately maintained, stable, superyacht with a highly-skilled staff of 9 yacht crew adding the dimension of unrivalled service for those on board.

Refitted in 2007, the sophisticated exterior reflects the unbridled elegance on board, offering characteristic Feadship style wrapped around large volumes thanks to a beam of 8.20 metres (26’10”ft). Underway, guests can enjoy al-fresco dining and relaxation on the sun deck across the huge exterior spaces as well as true day-to-day comfort within for longer crossings. Capable of travelling at a top speed of 15 knots, Audacia can take those on board across the water with low noise, vibration and total seakeeping ability.

A Summary of Motor Yacht AUDACIA

Feadship completed motor yacht AUDACIA in 1987. Accordingly, she has the distinction of being built in the Netherlands. AUDACIA had her yacht design work completed by De Voogt Naval Architects and De Voogt Naval Architects. This superyacht AUDACIA can accommodate overnight a total of approximately 12 guests aboard and 10 qualified crew. Completed by 1987 the traditional interior design and decor reveals the traditional approach in the designing of Pierre Tanter / Paola Smith.

The Building & Design with respect to Luxury Yacht AUDACIA

De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architecture company involved in the formal nautical plans for AUDACIA. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects expertly collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Pierre Tanter / Paola Smith was charged with the overall interior ambience. In 1987 she was actually launched to celebration in Kaag and post sea trials and detailing was then handed over to the owner who commissioned her. The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. Her hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is made extensively from aluminium. With a width of 8.17 m / 26.8 ft AUDACIA has fairly large room. A fairly shallow draught of 2.56m (8.4ft) selects the number of overall marinas she can enter into, contingent on their individual characteristics. She had refit maintenance and alteration work undertaken by 2003.

The Engineering And The Speed/Range That M/Y AUDACIA is Capable Of:

The 3508 DITA engine powering the yacht is produced by CATERPILLAR. Coupled to the AUDACIA engines are twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship generates 775 horse power (or 570 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The sum power for the yacht is thus 1550 HP or 1141 KW. With respect to stabalisers she uses Vosper.

Offering room for a limit of 12 yacht guests sleeping aboard, the AUDACIA accommodates everyone in luxury. Under normal conditions she requires circa 10 able crew to maintain and sail.

In Sept 2009 AUDACIA traveled to Thíra, in Greece. AUDACIA has traveled the location within Kykládes during October 2009. Aqua Air was the outfit which made the air con on the yacht. She has a teak deck.

Audaces knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with an extensive selection of action packed water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. You'll be loving the huge adrenaline rush as you zip over the water on one of the two WaveRunners. Another excellent feature are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Audaces also features a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, beach games. Audaces has a 11.28m/37' SeaVee Chase Tender to transfer you from ship to shore.
