The Galaxy Super Yacht is a yacht introduced to Grand Theft Auto Online in the GTA Online: Executives and Other Criminals update for the PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , and PC .

In A Superyacht Life - Bon Voyage , it is stated that "Galaxy" would provide some compensation for unexpected engine failure. It is not certain whether "Galaxy" is the company name of the ship manufacturer, or just simply a short-form for "Galaxy Super Yacht" as a full company name.

Description [ ]

The yacht is a full-sized yacht/cruiser fitted with a range of luxury features, including one or two helipads. The vessels feature a large bridge and 3 individual decks, while medium and high-end yachts also include a jacuzzi and a luxury helicopter.

There are a few options which can be chosen by calling the ship's captain using the in game phone, and can be used to gain access to the yacht when it is anchored at a location. The options include:

• Calling for the helicopter (if applicable) which spawns on the yacht to be delivered to a location near the anchor point. Costs $1,000.
• Calling for a boat to be delivered to the shoreline near the anchor point. This will always be the Dinghy . Costs $750.
• Requesting your personal vehicle to be delivered to the shoreline so that you can travel from the yacht to the shore and have a car waiting for you. Free of charge.

Yachts can be purchased from $ 6,000,000 to $8,000,000 in GTA Online .

The Yacht cannot be controlled and does not move by itself, but the player can request the captain to move it to another location for $25,000. This fee can be reduced to $10,000 by completing the A Superyacht Life missions.

The ship comes with 2 NPC crew members — the captain and a bartender. The player can select who can access the yacht and its vehicles. Like apartments, the yacht can be set as a spawn point. Essentially, the yacht acts as a floating apartment, although it does not count toward the total properties owned by the player.

When entering the location of the yacht or nearing it, the following format of text will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen: [model of yacht] [custom name of yacht] [player's ID]

Air defenses [ ]

The owner can activate the vessel's weapons defense system through the interaction menu and specify who can pass through, but while the system is active, players cannot access their personal weapons or fire their weapons from armed vehicles in a 150-meter radius of the yacht. The defense system can attack player and NPC aircraft and those with parachutes by emitting nearby explosions within the 250 meter radius, and also giving a warning to intruders to leave the air zone when approaching in the radius of 400 meters. It can even destroy armored aircraft (including the Avenger ) in one direct hit. The air defenses can also defend against incoming rockets from aircraft and launchers.

Owning a Galaxy Super Yacht incurs a fee of $500 per day. Before The Contract update, the fee was $1,000 per day.

The names of the three models are references to constellations and mythology.

The Orion is the cheapest yacht purchasable, for $ 6,000,000. Comes with:

The Pisces is the middle-class yacht purchasable, for $7,000,000. Comes with:

The Aquarius [ ]

The Aquarius is the most expensive yacht purchasable, for $8,000,000. Shares the main features of The Pisces but exchanges the small portholes below the accessible decks for larger rectangular windows. Comes with:

• Four Speedophile Seasharks

Modifications [ ]

Similar to the customized apartments , several modifications can be applied to allow the player to create their own yacht. The following apply to all models of the Yacht.

• Presidential Green (Included; $300,000 to downgrade)
• Presidential Blue (+$315,000)

Essentially, the main difference between the two types of lighting options is that the Vivacious puts light bars on the exterior of the yacht as well as lighting the interior, whereas the Presidential option only lights the interior.

Each of the color options features an additional accent color, this is most visible when looking at the demonstration photos of the lighting when selecting the options when you purchase the yacht. If the player selects the Vivacious Gold lighting for example, the top decks are lit up purple, and there are other places along the yacht which this accent color will feature. Accent colors feature on both Presidential and Vivacious options, however the latter is more vibrant. The following accent colors correspond to the lighting choices:

• Green base color - pale orange accent
• Blue base color - pale green accent
• Rose base color - light blue accent
• Gold base color - dark blue/purple accent
• Pacific - White with blue hull (Included; $100,000 to downgrade)
• Nautical - White with blue hull & stripe (+$135,000)
• Mariner - White with green hull & stripe (+$170,000)
• Merchant - White with red hull & stripe (+$195,000)
• Pristine - White (+$220,000)
• Azure - White with blue hull & sides (+$300,000)
• Uniform - White with black hull & sides (+$315,000)
• Ruby - White with red hull & sides (+$340,000)
• Mediterranean - White with red hull stripes (+$365,000)
• Vintage - Cream/Beige with blue stripe (+$425,000)
• Continental - Cream/Beige with gray stripes (+$450,000)
• Battleship - Dark gray with cream stripes (+$475,000)

Based on the colour scheme chosen, the spawned vehicles on the yacht will take on that color scheme as well.

Personalize [ ]

The player is able to select from 46 flags to place on the rear:

Selecting a new flag after the initial purchase will cost $25,000.

The player is also able to name their ship up to 20 characters. The default name is "Galaxy Super Yacht".

• It costs $500,000 to downgrade to the Orion and $1,000,000 to downgrade to the Pisces.
• Darcy states in A Superyacht Life - Overboard that paper documentation kept onboard identifies the ship and crew as permanent residents of international waters. Without it, taxes would have to be paid to the IRS.
• Multiple yachts can be in the same area, except they are spread out. There are 12 spots around the map which a yacht can be moved to, and there is a limit of 3 yachts at one time in the same location. This means that there are enough spaces in a single 30 player free roam lobby for every player to have their yacht on the map at the same time.
• In addition, it will also cost $250,000 to rename their yacht, and $25,000 to fit a different flag onto their yacht.
• Despite the vessel's size, there doesn't appear to be any staff present other than the Bartender and the Captain, Brendan Darcy . However, there are apparently further occupants according to the Bartender, as she will sometimes comment to the player "The crew are so well trained, you wouldn't even know they were here". In A Superyacht Life - Overboard, Darcy mentions that he will send out crew members to retrieve the jetskis stolen from the ship.
• All models feature inaccessible areas, as evidenced by windows not connected to rooms in the cabin. This could be where the crew mentioned above reside. Additionally, there seems to be a large engine room as seen on the Dignity , as these Yacht models share the same removable access hatch by the stern.
• Vehicles that come with the yacht purchase will respawn on/with the yacht a few minutes after being destroyed.
• In addition, should one deign to sit in one of the designated seats in the Jacuzzi, their health would quickly regenerate to full.
• The yacht hot tubs also have a location where the player can stand and lean against the side of the tub, which is unique to the yacht hot tubs.
• The ash trays that appear around the Jacuzzi have " Buckingham Luxor " branding on them, likely because they were reused from the ash trays present in the Luxor Deluxe .
• The roof and electronic masts vary between yacht models. The Orion has a mostly flat roof and a tall, vertical mast; the Pisces has short exhaust risers, more anti-aircraft launch tubes, and a sloped mast; and the Aquarius has tall exhaust risers, even more anti-aircraft launch tubes and a short mast attached to an arch.
• Despite the number of anti-aircraft launch tubes between yacht models, they all have equal range, firepower, and reloading times.

Example of the generic "true" name that can appear on a yacht when the owner leaves the session.

• When there's someone on a yacht and the owner leaves the session, the yacht will have the name "true" or "false" shown on the back. No-one will be able to use the vehicles that belong to the yacht. When no one is looking at the yacht, it will despawn. In some cases, the defense system will come online, with Brendan warning the player to leave the yacht's vicinity.
• When a player moves their yacht, any other players on it will also be moved on the yacht to its new location.
• If the player moves their yacht, vehicles left on it that do not belong get left behind. If another player is in the area, the vehicle will simply fall into the sea.
• The chair on the right side of the Yacht's bar has unique animations where the player sitting on it will do actions such as head banging, tapping their feet, resting their arm on the chair's head and clapping their hands.
• There is an error with the Hot Tub where the player's clothes will not get visibly wet when entering it, however, water can still be seen falling off of them after they have left it.
• Despite not being near land, strippers from the Vanilla Unicorn can still be called to the Yacht. The phone options menu will state "Invite to Your Apartment" however, but if the player is present inside their Yacht, they will buzz the Cabin door there instead.
• If a vehicle is driven into the hot tub, it wouldn't get damaged from the water, even if it's fully submerged.
• The yacht's anti-air defenses are not able to defend against Merryweather Security 's airstrike service.
• The yacht, especially the Aquarius, appears to be the same yacht from Max Payne 3's "Sun Tan Oil, Stale Margaritas, and Greed" chapter, which is another Rockstar game. Likely a homage, considering that Max Payne 3 came out in 2012, one year before Grand Theft Auto V .

Glitches [ ]

• There is a minor visual glitch that occurs during rainy weather, wherein the ceilings and canopies of the yacht will not block the rain while the player is on the deck, and the rain falls through these surfaces.
• Sometimes, yacht owners may see someone else's yacht marked as their own; it will be marked on their radar and their name will appear above it, as if the player owned a second yacht. This, however, does not affect any functionalities on either the player's own yacht or the other player's, such as accessibility or the air defenses.

For the ultimate room with a view, players have the option to purchase a Galaxy Super Yacht from the Docktease website for GTA Online.

The Yacht property does not count towards the property limit and they have a daily utility cost for owning one. Yachts cannot be sailed: they function as floating apartments and come fully staffed with your own personal captain to shift the boat between your choice of 12 scenic mooring locations (at a cost of $25,000), and a bartender to serve drinks for you and your guests.

Choose from a range of designs , with higher-end yachts featuring hot tubs, and additional complimentary transport options including helicopters and personal watercraft. Name your vessel and personalize it with a custom flag, hull color, and a variety of lighting options. Each Yacht comes equipped with an anti-air defense system to help protect against unwanted attacks from rival Organizations and other Freemode attackers.

As of the 1.51 Los Santos Summer Special Update released on August 11, 2020, Super Yacht owners can participate in 6 Co-Op missions, which are accessed from the Bridge of the Yacht, or by calling the Yacht Captain and selecting ‘Request a Job’.

Players are only able to own one Yacht and they have a selection of three models:

GTA 5: Every Place You Can Get A Helicopter

You don't have to spend all your hard-earned (stolen) in-game money to get a helicopter in Grand Theft Auto 5.

• Finding helicopters in Grand Theft Auto can be challenging as they are usually located in specific places like helipads or airports.
• Locations such as Davis's Sherriff Station, Central Los Santos Medical Center, and Vespucci Police Station have helicopters that can be stolen.
• Fort Zancudo is a dangerous place to get a helicopter due to a four-star wanted level and military threats, but it has helipads with regularly parked choppers.

One of the most enjoyable things to do in Grand Theft Auto games is fly around the city. Driving is fun, too, but there is something so satisfying about being up in the sky and peering down at the streets below. Yet, like in real life, you don't just see flying vehicles around every corner. They're in specific locations like atop helipads or in airports.

This makes sense as you wouldn't park your very expensive helicopters or planes out where the general public can get their hands on them. The people of Los Santos have the same mentality. However, there are still places where you can acquire a helicopter. These are all the spots.

9 Davis's Sheriff Station

While doing missions for Franklin's friend Tonya - someone who isn't among the most likable characters in the game - you pick up and drop off a tow truck from a car park next to Davis's Sheriff Station.

So after driving around in that slow vehicle, you may want to head next door to acquire something quicker. This is because the Sheriff Station has a police chopper on the roof that you can steal.

To reach it, you must go around to the back of the building and climb up the ventilation.

8 Central Los Santos Medical Center

Most hospitals have helipads to allow air ambulances to deliver patients quickly, and they can truly save lives. But come - on this is Grand Theft Auto, so who cares about that? The helipads are still useful, though, as they sometimes have helicopters parked on them.

They aren't there all the time, but it's a regular spawn point.

And luckily, on the southwest part of the Medical Center, there are various ladders and sets of stairs that give you easy access to the roof. Because of this, if any helicopters have spawned, you can quickly reach them.

7 Los Santos Naval Port

Few helicopters are harder to get your hands on than the one at the Los Santos Naval port, run by Merryweather security who don't want random criminals walking around. And they aren't the only threat, as the police also get involved when you enter the area.

In fact, you get a four-star wanted level just by taking a step in the restricted zone.

So, getting this chopper means putting up with plenty of adversaries, including attack helicopters. It's not really worth it unless you are desperate for a chopper and none of the others on the map have spawned.

6 Vespucci Police Station

The Vespucci area is one of the best in Los Santos and is among the reasons the city is so beloved . However, most of the fun you have in the area is likely to be ruined by the Vespucci Police Force. Yet, these cops do have their uses. For example, a helicopter regularly spawns on top of their station.

Getting up there isn't easy, though. You need to climb up various ladders that you can only reach by walking up the stairs in the car park. It's a hassle, and the helicopter isn't even always there.

Because of this, if you're looking for where to find a helicopter in GTA fast , this may not be the spot to check.

5 Vespucci Helipad

The Vespucci Helipad is one you can buy and own, but if you want to save money, you can typically find a helicopter already there. It's controlled by an NPC, who can often be seen landing or taking off from the spot. You can "relieve them of their vehicle," so to speak, and fly away.

Unfortunately, it won't always be there for you to take. But if you're close by and in the market for a chopper, it's worth having a look since you don't need to climb anything to reach it - you can just walk up to the helipad.

4 NOOSE Government Facility

You interact with several government agents throughout the main story. They always cause you trouble, so you deserve some compensation, which you can get in the form of a helicopter.

Admittedly, the chopper doesn't come from the FIB building where most of the antagonists work. Instead, it can be found at the NOOSE facility, which is outside of Los Santos to the east. Once you get there, you can easily climb up the southernmost building using ladders. On top of it, you can usually find a helicopter.

3 Parachute Jumps

The Dom Beasley strangers and freaks missions task you with doing all sorts of wild stunts. And once you finish the one called Risk Assessment, you get more opportunities to do life-threatening activities in the form of parachute jumps.

These jumps vary quite a bit. Some of them have you take a helicopter up in there to get in the correct position. Before they take you up, though, you can just steal the chopper.

This will bring a halt to the jump, but you get a nice vehicle in return.

2 Fort Zancudo​​​​​

The most dangerous place to get a helicopter is Fort Zancudo - you get a four-star wanted level just by entering. And once inside, you're not dealing with police - this is a military base, after all, meaning soldiers with easy access to tanks are trying to kill you.

Therefore, it's hard to survive in the base for more than a few minutes.

The plus side is there are several helipads next to the runway that regularly have choppers parked on them. Unfortunately, getting a helicopter out of there and away from danger without being blown up is very difficult unless you use some cheats .

1 Owned Helipads

Stealing isn't the only way to get helicopters in Grand Theft Auto 5. You can also get helicopters legitimately by buying them through the in-game internet or acquiring them during missions. Once you do, you can spawn vehicles from any helipad you own. Trevor acquires the one in Sandy Shores early in the game, while Michael or Franklin can purchase the one in Vespucci.

Not only do these helipads contain the vehicles you buy, but you also can keep any of the others you acquire there. So, for instance, if you steal a chopper, you can bring it back to a helipad to keep it.

The Havok is another raceable helicopter in GTA Online that was introduced as part of the Smuggler's Run DLC, The best business update in GTA Online (my opinion). The Havok has a futuristic design that features a very small body kit that can only be found on this helicopter.

The Havok has a decent top speed for a small chopper with the handling of a high-end helicopter, this can be perfect for players looking to ease into casual racing. Not too many performance and visual upgrades are available so getting the optimal specs is also quite easy to recreate.

What we love about the Havok

The Havok has the most unique design in all GTA Online, players say flying around Los Santos feels like a Sky Kids movie set in the Bladerunner universe. As a day one purchaser, I can safely say picking up this helicopter for Hangar missions and business resupply is a perfect choice most new players should consider.

The Sea Sparrow is the variant version of the most popular helicopter (Sparrow) in GTA Online (PS5 version) known for its top speed and one-of-a-kind landing on land or in the sea. The Sea Sparrow is the only helicopter in GTA Online that can land on water, putting it quite high on my unique vehicle list.

This Helicopter is only worth buying if players don't already own the base Sparrow from the Kosatka Submarine as you won't be able to use it in its place.

The Hunter is the second attack chopper on this list and for many months was the best offensive aircraft players could use in public lobbies, this powerful machine is well-known and beloved by griefers.  

The Hunter is a formidable helicopter often used in combat situations, missions, heist and activities requiring constant aerial support. I strongly suggest getting if players are looking for a fast and fully offensive aircraft.

Players tend to appreciate the FH-1 Hunter more when partaking in PvP combat or in combat scenarios with aggressive npcs as its machine gun and missile fire is so broken it absolutely demolishes everything in its path.

The Swift is the first and only helicopter to get an all-gold plating as its base design which is a feature we veteran players can appreciate as it shows there's still some love from the developers.

The Akula is the first stealth chopper on this list with one of the best offense and defense capabilities in GTA Online. It is known for its ability to become invisible on other players' radar, allowing for some interesting and strategic operations.

The Akula is also equipped with machine guns and homing missiles that can only be used when not in stealth mode. This can be a hindrance at times but overall, a good feature to keep the game balance.

The biggest and most obvious thing GTA Online players love about the Akula is its stealth feature, for many casual players having a feature like this that doesn't cost money is a welcomed design feature.

The lack of focus on offensive capabilities made this luxury aircraft shine tenfold as it provides players with a swift and elegant means of traversal across the expansive map. This is one of the vehicles favored by players who actively do CEO work as they can spawn it instantly wherever they may be, this feature is quite broken and makes the game so much easier.

The Conada is the most recent helicopter to come to GTA Online that was originally released with the Criminal Enterprises DLC and as expected of Rockstar, the top speed of this machine shatters all racing records making the Conada the fastest helicopter players can purchase in online servers. 

The Conada has the best handling for helicopters in the game, making it the new number one choice for circuit races. The top speed is slightly slower than the Volatus and Swift but substantially makes up for it in the final lap time.

What we love about the Conada

The distinctive design, customization options, and racing performance are the key features players love about the Conada and this carries over to travel in lobbies. The optimal modifications can be quite expensive but once installed, players will never have to buy another helicopter again.

Just commissioned a beautiful new  superyacht with a helicopter deck ? Whether you're new to the aerial world or an experienced buyer, our guide to the best helicopters for superyachts will give you plenty of options for your next purchase...

Compact in size, this helicopter’s small footprint and large, flexible cabin make it the aircraft of choice for on board. The ACH145 can carry eight to ten passengers depending on desired configuration, transporting guests to shore in style. Choose between a standard or VIP interior designed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, or bring your along your own designers. One superyacht owner enlisted the help of London-based design studio Harrison Eidsgaard for two ACH145 helicopters delivered earlier this year. The ACH145 is also the heli of choice for 182.9 metre  REV Ocean , soon to be the largest superyacht in the world, and for 66 metre support catamaran  Hodor ( pictured ).

Leonardo AW169 helicopter

Leonardo’s AW169 helicopter is expanding into new VIP markets. The versatile twin-engine, medium-weight helicopter puts safety first with a crash-resistant airframe, fuel system and seats. It has the latest touchscreen avionics and expansive glass for maximum visibility, plus one engine inoperative (OEI) capability. The cabin can carry five to eight passengers depending on layout and is as luxurious as any jet. There are separate cabin-cockpit air conditioning systems and a wireless cabin control and entertainment system. The variable speed main rotor feature improves efficiency in flight and keeps noise levels to a minimum. At 48 feet in length the AW169 isn't small but if you can find the space you'll be rewarded with a max range of 440 nautical miles. Expect to pay around $8.5 million.

Bell 505 Jet Ranger X

The 505 Jet Ranger X is a lightweight helicopter that offers speed and manoeuvrability well suited to tight landing spots. It has a fully integrated glass flight deck and Garmin G1000H avionics suite with twin 10.4in LCD screens, which makes for enjoyable, safe piloting. The sleek Italian-designed cabin can carry up to four passengers or be configured for cargo by removing the quick-disconnect rear cabin seats or co-pilot seat. The flat floor cabin design and large rectangular baggage compartment allows for plenty of onboard luggage. If you’re after something nippy and practical, it’s a great choice. You'll pay around $1 million.

Leonardo AW109 Trekker helicopter

Despite a pedigree that dates back to the original AW109, when the company was known as AugustaWestland, the light twin-engine AW109 Trekker still looks fresh and purposeful. Making its European debut at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, the AW109 Trekker is capable of carrying up to six passengers in a quiet cabin with luxurious seating that can be arranged in various configurations. It has a range of 450 nautical miles, an altitude ceiling of 16,000 feet and a 175mph cruising ability with fixed landing skids. At 42 feet in length, it’s more suited to gigayachts than mere superyachts, but all that fuselage area does make the ideal blank canvas for an eye-catching paint job. Leonardo has an in-house customisation division, so no two helicopters are created the same. From $4.2 million.

Airbus H175 VIP

The first of Airbus' super-luxe H175 VIP helicopters was delivered in 2016 with Arsenal football club shareholder Alisher Usmanov reportedly installing one on board 156 metre  Lürssen Dilbar . The luxury helicopter can seat eight and has a customisable interior by Pegasus Design meant to rival the finest investment-worthy private jets. Dimmable panoramic windows, mood lighting, TV screens and WiFi all come as standard in the soundproofed cabin and, while Airbus have not disclosed an exact price, the H175 helicopter is thought to be in the range of $20-25 million.

Sikorsky S-76D helicopter

If you have a large family (or lots of friends) the S-76D commercial helicopter could be for you. Capable of carrying up to 13 people, the S-76D is also the helicopter of choice for heads of state, air ambulances, and search and rescue missions. The "D" model is powered by 1,050 hp Pratt & Whitney Canada PW210S engines, providing increased horsepower compared to its siblings, without increasing fuel consumption. Executive and deluxe configurations feature a cockpit cabin divider, tinted windows, leather upholstery and retractable boarding steps.

Airbus H160 helicopter

If you want to be at the cutting edge of helicopter design, put your name down for the recently unveiled H160. It features a fully composite airframe, twin Turbomeca Arrano turboshafts and a shrouded tail rotor for silent travel. It will carry 12 passengers and cruise at 185mph for 500 miles. First deliveries are due in May 2020, POA.

Robinson R44 helicopter

One of the most popular full-sized, entry level helicopters – almost 6,000 have been sold. Powered by a single six-cylinder piston engine, it carries four people, cruises at 135mph, and has a range of 350 miles. In 1997 Jennifer Murray used one to become the first woman to circumnavigate the globe by heli. It costs from $375,000.

List of Helicopter Locations in GTA V

Helicopters are a kind of air vehicles featured in GTA V, they can be commonly seen flying around Los Santos, and piloting a helicopter can be very helpful if you need to get to a very remote place, they are much faster than land vehicles. Helicopters also can be used to explore the city or suburban areas and enjoy the views from high above. Moreover, in some missions, a helicopter will be required to do the tasks, and some collectibles can only be found with the help of a helicopter. Below is a list of the helicopter locations in GTA V and GTA Online (The type of the helicopter at each location is different between the story mode and online). Unlike in GTA IV, none of these helicopters are permanently parked on the locations. So if you don’t see a helicopter in one of the locations, try another.

1. Central Los Santos Medical Center

The Central Los Santos Medical Center is a hospital in Davis, South Los Santos, the roof of the lower section of the hospital building has two helipads, and Air Ambulances (a type of helicopter in the game) can spawn on them. The roof can be accessed via the stairs or the ladders on the walls. Sometimes both helipads have a helicopter, sometimes only one, other times no helicopters at all, the chance to see a helicopter spawned there is higher than many other helicopter locations listed on this page. If you don’t see a helicopter there when you get there, try to leave the area and return after a while, then helicopters will likely spawn there, but this method does not always work. If you still don’t see a helicopter after several visits, consider to go to other locations mentioned below.

2. Davis Sheriff’s Station

The Davis Sheriff’s Station is a two-story police station in Davis, it’s located very close to the Central Los Santos Medical Center, and also features a helipad on the roof. To access the helipad, you can climb to the roof through the ventilation system on the back of the building.

Sometimes a Police Maverick or a Buzzard Attack Chopper can be seen stationed on the helipad, but the chance of this is not very high, usually lower than finding a helicopter on the roof of Central Los Santos Medical Center. However, if you see nothing on the helipad, you can take a look at the roof of the nearby Central Los Santos Medical Center, which is clearly visible from the helipad or the street below, sometimes when you don’t see a helicopter on the police station you will see one stationed on the hospital, and vice versa. But still it’s likely that both buildings have no helicopters on the roof, then you have to go to other locations listed below. As a helicopter on a police station, taking it will attract a one-star wanted level, but can be easily evaded by flying into the sky.

3. The dock of Los Santos Naval Port

There is a helipad on the dock of Los Santos Naval Port in the seaport of Los Santos, and this helipad usually has a chopper parked on it, the chance to see the chopper is higher than most other helicopter locations.

However, the Los Santos Naval Port is a military facility, operated by Merryweather, so it can be a little difficult to obtain the chopper. When the player is very close to the dock, a four-star wanted level will be triggered, and Merryweather guards will start to attack the player, making it hard to get on the chopper. One of the methods to solve this problem is first take out the guards using a sniper before the player is too close to the dock, then you will have enough time to get on the chopper before LCPD comes. To snipe the Merryweather guards, you will need a boat, because the guards will not spawn if you try to snipe them from a great distance. A good location to do this is at somewhere west of the dock, for the west side of the dock has a ladder, through which the player can climb onto the dock.

4. Vespucci Police Station

The Vespucci Police Station is a three-story building in Vespucci, Los Santos, near the Vespucci Canals. Sometimes a Police Maverick can be seen parked on the rooftop of the building, but this is not quite often, the chance to see a chopper there is lower than that of the locations mentioned above. In addition, access to the rooftop of the building is not as straightforward as those other locations, there are more ladders to climb, and these ladders are a little difficult to be found. If you really want to get to the roof, first make your way to the courtyard at the back of the building, and find a stairway on the right hand side to start getting up to the roof.

5. NOOSE Headquarters

The NOOSE Headquarters is a government facility in the Palomino Highlands within the eastern coast of San Andreas. It’s a little far from the city but the chance of finding a helicopter there is quite high, you can almost definitely see a helicopter parked there, except of some special cases which will be explained below. If you don’t want to go that far, consider other locations listed below. The helicopter that can be found there is Buzzard Attack Chopper, it’s stationed on the roof of the building in the facility, you can make your way to it by climbing ladders on the wall of the building. The helicopter may not be seen if you access NOOSE Headquarters via another aircraft. In other cases, you can find a helicopter there without problems. And no wanted level will be given after you take it.

6. The Vespucci Helipad

The Vespucci Helipad is a large heliport in Puerto Del Sol, next to the Puerto Del Sol Marina. Occasionally a NPC-controlled helicopter can be seen landing to one of the helipads, sometimes it’s simply parked there, and still, the helicopter cannot always be found there. So again, if you don’t see it, try to leave the area and get back there after a while. And Franklin or Michael can purchase a helipad in Vespucci Helipad to store the helicopters landed on it or purchased online.

7. Parachute Jumps Locations

If you have completed Dom Beasley’s mission Risk Assessment, Parachute Jumps will be available in many different locations around the State of San Andreas. Some of these Parachute jumps are Helicopter Jumps like the jump in Risk Assessment, and they can be a source for helicopters, as the player can hijack the helicopters used in these jumps. When the player character comes close to the helicopter, holding the enter button will make the character hijack it. Not every parachuting location has a helicopter, many are Base Jumps in which the character will jump off a building or a cliff. In Los Santos, there are 3 parachuting locations that have helicopters, one is in La Puerta, it can be found in the parking area in Puerto Del Sol Marina, next to Puerto Del Sol Yacht Club.

8. Los Santos International Airport

Los Santos International Airport is not only a source for various kinds of airplanes, it also can be a source of helicopters, as sometimes a chopper can be seen parked or landing on a helipad in the airport. The helipad is located near the northeast gate of the airport, to find it you can first enter the airport through that gate (the gate is adjacent to the southeast corner of the overlapped U-shaped roads), then move forward for about 200 feet from the gate, the helipad will be seen on your right hand side. Be aware that entering the airport will trigger a three-star wanted level, this can be avoided if the player purchased a hanger inside the airport, so it’s recommended to buy the hanger first, then it will be much more safe to obtain the chopper.
