Throughout the three prequel movies, there appear a number of starships of Nubian style. One major starship in Episode I for sure the streamlined yellow Naboo N-1 Starfighter .
These little fighter are often used to escort the larger royal and diplomat vessels such as the Naboo J-type 327 Royal Starship and the Naboo J-type Diplomatic Barge .
Besides the N-1 Starfighters, there are also some other designs of Nubian starfighters, like the N-X Police Cruiser , the NB-1S Bomber or the Freefall-class Bomber (which has just been updated today!).
Other smaller ships like the Naboo H-type Yacht or the Naboo J-type Star Skiff are fast and maneuverable enough to not need any escort.
The H-type Yacht also appears in the new Clone Wars animated TV series. If you're a fan of that series, you will have noticed another new class of Nubian craft in the episode "Blue Shadow Virus". It's the Naboo S-130 Shelter Speeder , an atmospheric vehicle.
The Shelter Speeder is of strange shape but has the same colour sheme as the N-1 Starfighter which brings us to full circle and ends our little story for now.

When I look at your minis my first impulse is: Wooooooow! I want them all and I want to build minis too. They are definately awesome! But unfortunately I´m not patient enough to build them... must take you quite a long time to figure out..,. great work...
Have you ever thought of making dioramas with your minis? Must look great! I´d love to see some of them together... keep up the great work and don´t feel bad about posting "old creations"...

I have seen these on Brickshelf before but still, I am very impressed. You got some of, if not the, best Star Wars mini models.
And then lots of them, all well built, all with instructions. Very cool.

This is the most vital and revolutionary ship in the entire Star Wars Saga. If you remember, in Episode III, Revenge of the Sith, Padme Amidala piloted this J-Type Nubian Star Skiff to the Outer Rim system of Mustafar to find Anakin just after his transition to Darth Vader. The most climactic and revolutionary part of the Saga is the lightsaber battle between Obi-Wan and his former apprentice, Anakin, because it marked the entrance to the original trilogy and explains the extrodinary begining to the original story. The only reason Obi-Wan took part in this epic battle is because of this ship (he was a stowaway on board during the flight). Without this ship, Padme would not have died after her childbirth to Luke and Leia (from Anakin's force choke), and the bionic Darth Vader as we know him now would not exist.
This set ( intended for play and display ) is very similar to, but not exactly like the yacht flown by Padme. I used the stunningly beautiful design of the original and added a few of my own ideas.

J-type 327 Nubian Royal Starshipby YamYam. Buy Parts ? I have made two versions of this MOC, one in Light Bluish Gray and one in Metallic Silver (see pictures above). This is due to the Mettalic silver 1x1 plate that was used 14 Times and the 2x2 plate corner being really expensive. With the "LBG" version at ~5 € and the "MS" at ~70-80€.

In LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala use this starship during the cutscene before the Droid Factory level despite the fact they actually use a H-type Nubian yacht. This starship also appears on the landing platform on Mustafar instead of the J-type star skiff.

SEE, r/legostarwars, IT CAN LOOK GOOD WITH JUST LIGHT BLUE-GRAY BRICKS. Lego should make this set with this color of brick. Feels like the whole chrome thing is the only reason they won't make this ship, but most people would be fine with no chrome. It would be unreasonable to expect a chrome release of this ship.

Lego never published the iconic Royal Naboo Starship as an official set, so I built one on my own. It was the most prominent ship in the Phantom Menace and deserves to be released as a Lego set. Although Episode I probably is the worst Star Wars movie, the Nubian Royal Starship is one of the most beautiful spaceships in the entire Star Wars Saga.
