If I could spend every day at Seven Mile Beach , I would- and more often than not, I would be eating at Morgan’s. With its extensive waterfront deck, idyllic location, welcoming Caribbean vibes, and exquisite food- the list of reasons to visit this restaurant just keeps going.

Run flawlessly and lovingly by the formidable husband and wife team, Richard and Jane, this casually elegant and incredibly beautiful spot by the ocean is a must-visit highlight in the area. They recently relocated from the marina to the Yacht Club, and have created a stunning, airy, and ambient space to dine, drink, and absorb Caribbean life and high-quality international cuisine.

In fact, we ranked this at the top our All World List of Top Dining Establishments in Grand Cayman , so we clearly were impressed by it!

Why Visit Morgan’s Seafood Grand Cayman

I could go on and on about why you MUST go to Morgan’s if you are in the area. Here are my top five highlights that keep me going back.

1: Morgan’s seafood restaurant has the most delicious fresh fish caught daily from the waters just a stone’s throw from your table.

2: The setting is unbeatable. Sit on the huge outdoor deck area and enjoy panoramic ocean views in the sunshine by day- or in candle light by night.

3: It has one of the best wine lists of all the top restaurants in the Cayman Islands. You should go even just for some drinks by the water!

4: Nothing beats the welcoming vibes Richard and Jane insist on providing to every guest who walks through the doors. It is the people and their dedication to the excellent experience that really makes this place.

5: There is something for everyone on the menu, with dishes inspired by many different cultures, countries, and cuisines.

Morgan’s Grand Cayman Menu

Morgan’s has two food menus- one for lunch, and one for dinner. Both champion local ingredients- particularly stunning seafood. However, there are many options for meat lovers- including Morgan’s famous chicken schnitzel and to-die-for homemade chicken liver pate.

The lunch menu is short and sweet- with plenty of high points. Choose from nine different appetizers, a selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches, and a dozen lunchtime favorites. There is always a catch of the day on the daytime specials menu- only local fish caught fresh by Morgan’s very own fisherman.

I love that you can opt for a smaller split plate if you want to try different dishes or stick to a light bite.

Dinner options are similar at Morgan’s, but with more main meals to choose from. I highly recommend the Jerk Duck- one of the restaurant’s signature dishes, and a true Caribbean classic. Local lobster, tuna sashimi, and wahoo ceviche are other favorites worth trying.

Morgan’s Grand Cayman Location and Opening Hours

You can find Morgan’s seafood restaurant at Governors Creek, Cayman Islands Yacht Club, Grand Cayman. It is open from 11.30 AM until 10.00 PM every day except Tuesday (they close on Tuesdays) for lunch, dinner, and drinks. It is a good idea to book a table in advance to secure a great spot.

Morgan’s Seafood Restaurant is a stylish waterfront restaurant that allows you to  enjoy fantastic views while feasting on our dishes. Their menu consists of soups, appetizers, sandwiches, and lunch favourites. Our seafood specials  are created using the finest local ingredients and fresh catch. Try their tuna  sashimi, wahoo ceviche, or local lobster (when in season) meals. If you love  meat, their juicy 10oz jerk burger or famous Chicken Schnitzel will satisfy you.

Welcome to bàcaro, Cayman's only authentic Italian tapas restaurant and wine bar. Inspired by the traditional "Bacari" of Venice, their menu features delicious and affordable small plates prepared by their Venetian Chef/Owner Federico Destro. Choose from their menu of wines by the glass, or opt for a creative handcrafted cocktail - enjoyed inside their bright and airy avant-garde dining room, or out on the beautiful breezy terraces, overlooking the passing sailboats of the Cayman Islands Yacht Club.

LUCA, on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, has uninterrupted views of the beach and the Caribbean Sea and the location is unrivaled. Everything is made fresh daily in LUCA's kitchen, from breads to pastas to desserts. The chef sources the freshest locally grown produce possible. He even catches the fish for his delicate seafood dishes on his days off! Freshness of product and simplicity of presentation sums up the dining experience at LUCA. The daily specials and a six-course tasting menu (on request) also highlights the team's on-going creativity.

Agua Restaurant & Lounge

Agua creates a fresh and vibrant dining experience that avoids conventional Italian restaurant stereotypes. After relocating to Camana Bay’s breezy waterfront in 2018 and undergoing a menu refresh, this longtime popular seafood restaurant continues to soar in popularity and innovation! Their restaurant is stylish and airy, featuring lots of natural wood accents and coloured glass, creating a nautical theme that nicely complements the seafood-rich, Italian Peruvian inspired menu. Agua have now extended their reach, opening Next Door , Camana Bay's newest cocktail experience, located, as the name suggests, directly adjacent to its owner's existing Camana Bay restaurant.

Casanova by the Sea

Walk into the oceanfront Casanova by the Sea in Grand Cayman and you wander into an Italian piazza where the food delights your soul and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Tony Crescente, owner and true Italian, prides himself on offering the authentic taste of his enchanted homeland as they are devoted to using family recipes handed down through generations.

On a palm fringed beach front, in secluded Rum Point on the North Side of Grand Cayman, Kaibo boasts two luxe restaurants, with delightful menus and pretension-free service. Unique and authentic, this is Cayman’s favourite playground, with a breathtaking sea view and the promise that you’ll forget your worries upon arrival. Kaibo’s plantation house with remote beach, stylish décor, beach games, coffee shop, honesty library, free WiFi, giftshop, watersports, rum bar, and two destination restaurants (Upstairs at Kaibo and Kaibo Beach Restaurant) ensures there is something for everyone to find their personal cloud nine. Jump on the ferry for the quickest journey over, and escape to Kaibo for a carefree Robinson Crusoe getaway.

Calypso Grill

Blue French doors open out onto the wide deck overlooking Morgan's Harbour as a soft breeze flows in from the North Sound. Views of fishing boats lazing back up to their docks with Frigates soaring above, are your accompaniments to leisurely lunches and delightful dinners. This is the Calypso Grill experience in West Bay, and what a charming and delicious experience it is. Old favourites include the Peppered Tuna Carpaccio, Crispy Mango Shrimp,Wahoo Escoveitch and, of course, Sticky Toffee Pudding. The latter of which has gained such a following that a road has been named after it.

Tukka West brings Tukka's taste of Australia with a Caribbean twist to Cayman's West Bay community. Established in 2021, Tukka West allows patrons to enjoy delicious fusion food and expansive sea views, and introduces some inventive mainstays, including sharing plates and charcuterie boards. Tukka's team promises the freshest local seafood - and you can actually watch the catch of the day be unloaded by local fishermen at Tukka West's onsite dock! Enjoy a refreshing handcrafted cocktail at Tukka West's outdoor bar area, Bobo's Bar, after a scenic drive through West Bay, or pop over by boat for a happy hour beverage.

Tortuga Beach Grill & Bar

Situated on the most expansive stretch of Grand Cayman's Seven Mile Beach, Tortuga Beach Grill & Bar offers an unparalleled alfresco dining experience in a casual setting. Their lunch and dinner menus are bursting with flavour and diversity, featuring foodie favourites such as delicious fish tacos, fresh tuna poke bowl, and truffled flatbread pizza. Evenings at Tortuga offer an unforgettable atmosphere. With the sunset as your backdrop, enjoy a daily happy hour 5pm-7pm with two for one on local beers and selected cocktails.

Karoo is located by the Crescent, overlooking the sea and the majestic fountain in the heart of Camana Bay, the culinary and shopping destination in the Cayman Islands. Karoo is an entertainment destination with no preconceived notions, where cosmopolitan urbanism meets the charm of the Caribbean. Enjoy a crisp designer cocktail paired with a 'Tapas/Small Plate' as a snack, or create a journey with multiple small plates. Karoo is a dining experience where a multitude of culinary creations, with their own unique tempo, create a delicious dinner, one small plate at a time.

Tukka, located in the East End of Grand Cayman, serves fresh local seafood with an authentic Australian flair and a Caribbean twist. They host an Australian night on Wednesdays and also a Fresh Fish Friday, where you can watch the fish being prepared by the chef. Their endless-bubbles Sunday brunch is always busy.

Cracked Conch

Cracked Conch continues to offer one of the most enviable waterfront positions on the Island. They offer up Caribbean delights and international fare in an unparalleled setting. Signature conch specialties including tender Cracked Conch and robust Conch Chowders are served alongside new classics including Seared Local Snapper and Short Rib Ravioli. Open the doors wide, push open those shutters and let the breeze wash over you. Relax away the day or evening on one of the beautiful patios, or unwind in a comfortable chair in the very chic bar with its amazing bubble ‘sculpture’.

Macabuca Oceanside Tiki Bar in Grand Cayman is situated on the West Bay coast with the ocean on two sides of the bar and sun loungers on the deck. If it’s gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea you are looking for, with affordable Caribbean style food and drinks, then look no further. Macabuca has developed a reputation for sun lovers looking to relax during the day and the more lively crowd looking to enjoy music and drinks in the evening. The sunsets are amazing!

Seaharvest Restaurant

Cayman's Seaharvest Restaurant and My Bar are located at the famous Sunset House Resort; both are an essential Caribbean experience. My Bar is overlooking the Caribbean Sea and has a huge open-sided, thatch-roofed cabana with the largest, and at times the liveliest, outdoor bar in Grand Cayman. This ‘Best of Caribbean’ award winner has been a favourite for tourists and locals for the past 50 years. The Seaharvest Restaurant is only a few steps away from My Bar. It offers a spacious outdoor patio on the water’s edge with amazing views of George Town harbour and Seven Mile Beach. Here you can dine and indulge, breathe the fresh evening air under the stars, listen to the waves and watch the sunset.

‘The Sails’ in Italian, Le Vele is a stunning upscale Italian restaurant located on Cayman's waterfront that opened in 2016. Run by Adriano Usini, former head chef of Ragazzi, Paolo Cognolato, former manager of Deckers and Mr. Primo Castellan, they bring years of experience and a passion for Italian dining at its finest.

George Town Yacht Club

GTYC offers you a casual “back porch” dining experience, where fresh seafood and local ingredients are combined to create a menu with Caribbean flavours and an International flair. Saint June is a Cayman beach bar located at the famous Seven Mile Beach luxury hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
