5 Bravo Eugenia Facts: Who Is Her Owner? What Does She Cost?
Ever since Oceanco’s impressive superyacht Bravo Eugenia debuted, yacht lovers have been wondering who her owner is. And what did she cost? Today we bring you 5 interesting facts about Eugenia.
She’s A Giant!
At a length of 109m and with a gross tonnage of 3,418, Bravo Eugenia is undoubtedly a mammoth of a yacht. At her length, she is amongst some of the most notable yachts over 100m, such as Lurssen’s 2021 delivered Ahpo (previously named Enzo) and Lloyd Werft’s infamous Luna , which recently made headlines .
She’s Got A Famous Owner
Jerry Jones is the proud owner of the massive Bravo Eugenia. If you thought owning one of the biggest superyachts in the world is enough, it isn’t for Jones, who also owns the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoys the vessel alongside his wife Eugenia, from whom the superyacht gets her name.
She’s Very Expensive!
Jones, the owner of Eugenia, has accumulated an eye-watering net worth of $8.5bn. Due to his immense wealth, the superyacht, which cost him $250m, only made up a fraction of his overall fortune. The prioritisation of incorporating eco-friendly features over reducing costs is one reason for the yacht’s high price tag.

She’s kind to the planet.
Bravo Eugenia is kitted out with a whole host of sustainability features that make her more eco-conscious. She boasts an enhanced hybrid propulsion system, minimal allocation of technical space and 30 per cent fewer fuel needs. She also has 100sqm of guest space at the waterline level. This reduces the need for extra length, and therefore extra power.
She’s An Award Winner
With four nominations and two wins in 2019, Bravo Eugenia has proven to be a major star in the superyacht world. The vessel picked up awards for her sustainability at ‘La Belle Classe Explorer Awards’ and was the recipient of the ‘Yacht of the Year’ title at World Yachts Trophies.

Jerry Jones becomes owner of new $250 million 'superyacht'
Jerry Jones, the high-flying billionaire owner of the Dallas Cowboys, lassoed one heck of a Christmas gift: a $250 million, helipad-equipped superyacht bearing the name of his wife.
Websites that cover the yachting industry report that Jones took delivery of a nearly 360-foot, Dutch-built yacht on Dec. 20 somewhere in Scandinavia. It just so happens that the field at AT &T Stadium measures 360 feet in length. In other words, Jones' new seagoing toy is, fittingly, as long as a football field.

Famed Italian yacht design firm Nuvolari Lenard drew up plans for Jones' new vessel, with the United Kingdom's Lateral Naval Architects assuming the naval architecture tasks and U.K. yacht specialist Reymond Langton Design handling interior design.

Oceanco has announced that the 109m/357ft superyacht BRAVO EUGENIA also known as PROJECT BRAVO was delivered to her Owners in time for Christmas 2018.
Mega Yacht BRAVO EUGENIA – Credits Francisco Martinez
Delivered on the 20th of December, BRAVO EUGENIA is part of a new ethos for the shipyard, which has created the LIFE Design (Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel Efficient and Eco-Friendly). Her naval architecture and engineering is the work of Lateral, while Nuvolari Lenard worked on her exterior appearance and Reymond Langton Design produced her interiors, which were fast-tracked since her launch on November 17.
Nuvolari Lenard created a sporty low profile in silvery white, accented by a black waterline, bow and foredeck that further enhances her silhouette. The bow, in particular, has room for a helideck, and another helipad is placed to the aft. A sizeable tender garage allows for an extensive range of water toys to be stored on board, while the lower deck interior treats guests to a spa containing a steam room, sauna, massage room, plunge pool and rain shower as well as a gym and beach club. Reymond Langton Design chose light maple wood and white pearl lacquer with accents in ebony and walnut for contrast.
As a result of her single-tiered engine room, she has a long and slender hull shape that allows for greater space in the guest accommodation as well as reducing the overall propulsion power needed. Her sea trials were undertaken in winter conditions and she met and exceeded her targets and projected performance levels. M/Y BRAVO EUGENIA will be returning to the shipyard early in 2019 for some finishing touches.

Oceanco’s New Hybrid Yacht, Bravo Eugenia, Is Changing the Superyacht Game

Oceanco ‘s new 357-foot Bravo Eugenia is a lean, green, sailing machine that’s destined to be a record breaker. While a growing number of vessels include hybrid engines, they are still rare on superyachts, just because of the sheer effort it takes to power boats of that size. But Bravo Eugenia is a sleek example of what can be done at the top of the gigayacht class. Launched in the fall, the custom boat is the first Oceanco to have the new LIFE (lengthened, innovative, fuel-efficient, eco-friendly) design, which combines progressive naval architecture with a clever hybrid-engine configuration.
The design principles, says James Roy, managing director of Lateral Naval Architects, produce a “harmonious balance” among the yacht’s weight, power, technical areas and interior. On the exterior, Bravo Eugenia ’s low profile and slender shape give the hybrid engines an aerodynamic boost and a badass look, enabled in part by its single-tiered engine room. Traditional engine rooms usually need two tiers, eating up cabin or deck space. This yacht’s single-level example allows more space for guests. Oceanco has created some of the world’s most impressive bespoke yachts , including recent launches such as 295-foot Dar , 350-foot Black Pearl and 361-foot Jubilee (recently sold to Stan Kroenke and his wife, Ann Walton, for $310 million). And Alfa Nero , Oceanco’s 2007 launch, was one of the most recognized yachts of its time.
Venice-based Nuvolari Lenard, designers of Alfa Nero and many leading superyachts, was tasked with raising the bar on Bravo Eugenia to craft another revolutionary aesthetic. “Our approach with Bravo was to maintain a stunningly sleek profile without sacrificing any interior space,” says Dan Lenard, a principal with the firm.
Bravo Eugenia is a hybrid yacht worthy of applause. Francisco Jose Martinez Mendez
The edgy, sport-yacht lines can be seen in the dramatic open stern and a curved transom that slopes gently to the water.
The third member of the Bravo Eugenia dream team was UK-based Reymond Langton, tasked with designing an interior that matched the exterior’s lines. Pascale Reymond and her studio team worked with artists and craftsmen on the yacht’s bespoke art, fabrics, and furniture. “It all creates a warm, inviting environment for the owner’s family and guests,” says Reymond. Oceanco did not release many details on the interior, but the superyacht ’s 53-foot beam provided exceptional space for the designers to work with.
Inside and out, Bravo Eugenia could be a trendsetter. “This new exterior style concept is bound to create a new design stream,” says Lenard. We expect it to be increasingly copied.

The 109m/358ft motor yacht 'Bravo Eugenia' has been crowned with the coveted 'Yacht of the Year' title at the World Yacht Trophies awards in Cannes , sharing the spot with Benetti's 107m/351ft charter yacht LANA .
Coinciding with the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival , the World Yacht Trophies were held at a glitzy gala event at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on Saturday 14 September.
The winners of the prestigious awards ceremony have been announced, and Oceanco's Bravo Eugenia has stormed to victory in the "Yacht of the Year" category for yachts measuring over 82m.
This is the second coveted trophy for the Oceanco build, after she was honoured in the Technology and Innovation category at the Yacht Club de Monaco's Le Belle Epoque Explorer Awards earlier this year.
She was launched by the Dutch yard at the tail end of 2018 and she is sharing the win with LANA, which also won Yacht of the Year at the World Yacht Trophies 2019 .
Promising a significant reduction in fuel usage, Bravo Eugenia boasts LIFE-design credentials.
LIFE is a naval architecture concept which takes its acronym from Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel-Efficient and Eco-Friendly, and with this concept in mind, the motor yacht is able to offer a much more environmentally-conscious approach to yachting.
Naval architecture comes from Lateral, while the yacht's attention-grabbing exterior have been penned by Nuvolari & Lenard.
The motor yacht is able to offer a much more environmentally-conscious approach to yachting.
The Italian studio has created a strikingly angular profile, characterised by slender lines and streamlined superstructure.
Previously, Dan Lenard has described the yacht's exteriors as 'stunningly sleek [...] without sacrificing any interior space.'
The motor yacht's interiors have been headed up by Reymond Langton Design, with key materials including maple wood, white pearl lacquer and walnut and ebony wood accents featuring throughout.
On-board features include twin helipads, an aft deck swimming pool, a large tender garage and a spa with sauna, steam room, plunge pool and rain shower.
Bravo Eugenia was jointly awarded with the title, alongside Benetti charter yacht LANA.

As well as Bravo Eugenia, Heesen's 50m/164ft motor yacht ERICA also stormed to victory in the World Yacht Trophies. The 2019 launch won in the 'Best Innovations' category for yachts between 38-50m.

Russia Maps Show 25% of Moscow Without Power Amid Winter Freeze 'Emergency'
R ussian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the nationalization of an ammunition plant in Moscow after a mechanical failure caused tens of thousands of Muscovites to lose heat and water amid freezing temperatures beginning last week.
On January 4, a heating main burst at the Klimovsk Specialized Ammunition Plant in the town of Podolsk, which is around 30 miles south of central Moscow. Since then, tens of thousands of Russians are reported to have no heating in their homes in the Moscow region amid subzero temperatures.
Affected areas include the cities of Khimki, Balashikha, Lobnya, Lyubertsy, Podolsk, Chekhov, Naro-Fominsk, and Podolsk, a map published by a Russian Telegram channel and shared on other social media sites shows.
Other Russian media outlets reported that in Moscow, residents of Balashikha, Elektrostal, Solnechnogorsk, Dmitrov, Domodedovo, Troitsk, Taldom, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Krasnogorsk, Pushkino, Ramenskoye, Voskresensk, Losino-Petrovsky, and Selyatino are also without power.
That means that in total, more than a quarter of Moscow's cities have been hit with power outages and a lack of heating.
Newsweek has contacted Russia's Foreign Ministry for comment via email.
Many residents have taken to publishing video appeals on social media to complain about their freezing conditions. In one clip, people living in Moscow say that they are left with no choice but to warm their homes with gas stoves, heaters, and "whatever else we can find." Others said they are lighting fires in the streets to keep warm.
Andrei Vorobyov, governor of the Moscow region, announced on Tuesday that Putin ordered the ammunition plant to be nationalized because two of its owners have been "located abroad." He didn't name the individuals.
"We received the right to take control of this boiler house within the framework of an emergency," Vorobiev said, adding that the plant's boiler room was managed "very poorly" and there was "virtually no qualified competent personnel."
Russia's Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case over Klimovsk Specialized Ammunition Plant not meeting safety requirements.
On Tuesday, the committee said that because of the incident, the deputy head of Podolsk's administration, the head of the plant's boiler house, and the general director of the ammunition plant had been detained.
Residents of Selyatino have described the situation as "some kind of struggle for survival," Russian Telegram channel ASTRA reported.
Power outages have also struck St. Petersburg, Rostov, Volgograd, Voronezh, Primorsky Territory, and Yekaterinburg.
