The Bates College Club Sailing Team puts away its boats for the summer after sailing one more time this season.

The student-run team competes in the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association conference in the fall and spring, according to the team’s commodore, Ethan Baker, a junior from Jackson, New Hampshire. The Bates sailing team has used Taylor Pond for its home base for more than 30 years, and Sunday was its last sail before heading home for the summer.
