Welcome to the Bali 5.4 “Namaste of Bali” crewed catamaran, a luxurious and well-equipped vessel that is part of the fleet of Adriatic Sailing yacht charter company in Croatia.

The Bali 5.4 is a spacious and modern catamaran, with plenty of room for you and your guests to relax and unwind as you explore the stunning Adriatic Sea. The boat features 6 comfortable cabins, each with its own private bathroom, and a generous main salon and cockpit area where you can sit back and take in the breathtaking views.

On board the Bali 5.4, you will be taken care of by an experienced and friendly crew of 2, including the Captain and a Stewardess/Cook/Deck-Hand.

Speaking of meals, the Bali 5.4 comes equipped with a fully-functional kitchen, allowing the crew to prepare a variety of tasty dishes for you to enjoy. Each day, you can look forward to a hearty breakfast, as well as a simple lunch OR dinner, depending on your preferences. The crew is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have, so just let them know in advance.

In addition to the meals, the Bali 5.4 also offers a number of other amenities to make your stay even more comfortable. The boat comes equipped with Wi-Fi, allowing you to stay connected while on board (1 TB per week included). There is also a coffee machine on board, so you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or espresso whenever you like.

When it comes to water sports, the Bali 5.4 has you covered as well. The boat comes with a variety of water toys and equipment, including a rib with a 25 HP motor, 2 stand-up paddle boards, snorkelling gear, and floating mats. There is always something to do, whether you want to go for a swim, go snorkelling, or just relax on a floating mat in the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic.

Croatian Tourist tax: 1.35 EUR per night per person APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) – 8.000 EUR

The charter fee generally only covers the hire of the yacht and crew, while all other expenses (Croatian tourist tax, requested supplies, port, mooring and other legal charges and fees, diesel and fuel, crew gratuities, extras that depend on guest particular request for services, itinerary, food, beverages etc) are charged extra in addition to the charter fee. These additional expenses are covered by the Advance Provisioning Allowance – APA. The APA is usually equivalent to 30% of the total charter fee, but may be 35% in some cases (if the yacht burns a lot of fuel or if you intend to do more than 4 hours of cruising per day). The Captain will keep an accurate record of spending and at the end of the charter guest will be refunded or asked to pay the difference if additional operating costs are incurred.

Renting  sailing boat in Croatia in summer season it will cost you between 2.500 and 3.500 euros per week for a smaller boat and about 5.500 € for a newer  5 cabin sailboat .

The skipper for all private charters is mandatory pay at the check in except for our crewed catamaran charters , the crew is already included in the price.

How much do you tip a private yacht charter?

That is mostly up to our guests, and their general satisfaction at the end of the sailing cruise . On our crewed Croatia charters gratuities are discretionary, but it's customary to acknowledge the crew effort. We also believe, that the outstanding performances should be rewarded.

The usual tip for services aboard skippered yacht charters in the Mediterranean is  15-20% of the skipper/crew fee, that should be given in cash. The usual tip for  luxury charters  is  5% of the full price.

Captain: Josip Kovacev

YOUR CAPTAIN Josip Kovacev was born in 1982 and comes from a small seaside town on the Dalmatian coast not far from Split. From an early age the sea captivated him and his youth was spent swimming, diving, fishing and sailing with his grandfather. He experienced sailing for the first time as a teenage boy and loved it so much that he decided to obtain his skipper licence, YM100 and ISAF Offshore certificates. Being a native of the Adriatic Sea he knows it’s coastline and many islands perfectly and is eager to share the Dalmatian culture and heritage with you. You will experience many hidden pearls of the Adriatic with him as your Captain aboard the yacht. Josip is outgoing, positive, and really enjoys getting to know new people. He is a responsible, fun, social, and truly loves what he does. WHAT MAKES HIM HAPPY BESIDES HIS WORK, SEA & BOATS: Josip is a true sea-lover and likes all the sports activities related to it. YOUR STEWARDESS/COOK Lucija Grabovac comes from a family with a restaurant background, so hospitality has been her lifelong career. She's incredibly sociable and friendly, known for her reliability, honesty, and self-motivation. With an optimistic outlook on life, she always seeks the bright side of any situation. She thrives on working with people and embraces adventure and open-mindedness, which is why she loves working on boats. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Bali 4.4 Croatia

Our brand-new Bali 4.4 is available for rent in Croatia, but we’re not just happy to have another catamaran in our fleet; There are all the trademark innovations, like the rigid forward cockpit, the large lounge with sunbathing areas, the useful platform connecting the transom with a large bench seat and lockers, and, of course, the aft tilting, oversized garage door that opens with the touch of a button and connects the inside to the sea. The flybridge can be reached from both sides and the helm station is much lower, which makes the views from the coachroof better.

The Bali 4.4’s interior was created by Samer Lasta, and the port side shows a private owner’s hull. The standard 4-cabin charter versions have two rooms with double beds and two small bathrooms. There is space in the middle for a desk, a sofa, and extra closets, which makes smart use of space and provides useful storage. On both sides, the starboard hull has two standard double cabins with bathrooms and a separate cabin for the captain that can be reached from the deck when the boat is not being hired “bareboat.” Bali 4.4 in Croatia is great for families because it can sleep up to 10 people.

THING TO KNOW

Licence and skipper for renting a catamaran.

A licence is required to sail a catamaran in Croatia, you check the list on our page “Acceptable licences in Croatia” . However, if you and your crew do not have a boat licence you can easily add a skipper or any other crew member.

Security Deposit for renting catamaran in Croatia

Similarly to renting a car, chartering a boat requires a security deposit when renting a catamaran in Croatia. The deposit, fully refundable after check-out, covers you and your fellow passengers against accidental damage and ensures that contractual obligations are met. The security deposit varies in value depending on the model and brand of the boat. It will be returned to you after the boat has been inspected and is deemed undamaged.

Insurance of a catamaran and payment insurance

We have partnered with WIENER INSURANCE GROUP to additionally insured all your payments send to us with Wire transfer and also credit card payments are fully insured when renting a catamaran in Croatia. By Croatia law, all catamarans and passangers are fully insured for the time of the charter.

Cancellation policy for chartering a catamaran in Croatia

Europe Yachts Charter Group offers a full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking for a catamaran charter in Croatia. For cancellations made up to 7 days after the booking date, a 12% handling fee is retained. For bookings cancelled up to 30 days before the check-in date, a 50% refund of the total amount is applied. Cancellations made within less than 30 days of the check-in date are not eligible for refund. Please be aware that the conditions of our charter partners’ own policies apply. If you have further questions regarding our cancellation policy, please contact our customer support team.

What happens when I request an offer for renting a catamaran?

Once we receive your request for renting a catamaran in Croatia, one of our booking managers will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones and send it all by email. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you – free of charge.

When can I get in touch with the skipper when renting a catamaran in Croatia?

You can get in touch with the skipper as soon as you’ve completed your booking of a catamaran in Croatia. Our skippers are highly qualified and knowledgeable about their locality. They all speak English. The skipper is to be payed in the marina at the check in (for crewed charter, the crew is already included in the price)

What is a Transit Log?

A Transit Log is a variable payment when renting a catamaran in Croatia, which can include the following: bed linen, cleaning, on-board Internet connection, tourist tax and base marina fees. The details of the Transit Log differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner. Once you choose your boat, our team will be able to outline the specifics of the Transit Log associated with your booking.

Are there any other costs I should be aware of when renting a catamaran in Croatia?

There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your catamaran sailing holiday in Croatia. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight – the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re you like to sail or go with the motor.

Here is the example of all obligatory and optional costs for one of the catamarans .

CATAMARAN: 3,735.00 € Standard charter pack: 170.00 € (OBLIGATORY) Tourist tax: 1.30 € per person per day (OBLIGATORY) Skipper: 1,050.00 € (OPTIONAL) Hostess: 910.00 € (OPTIONAL)

And here are some estimates expenses:

Fuel est.: 250 – 350 € Mooring fees est.: 200 – 400 € Presuming that most of the nights will be on the anchor or mooring buoy. Some people will go entire week with only 150 € spent on mooring fees. It also depends on the weather. It is safer to be in marina if there is a storm. Food: 450 €+ (provisions for boat + skipper) Please note that this does not include dinners in restaurants. Meals in restaurants are 15 € for pizza and soft drinks, while full meals are 25-35 € per person.
