Luxury sailboat BAYESIAN is a Perini Navi build. Important to note, the worldwide leader in designing and building large luxury sailboats. The 56 meter yacht BAYESIAN is the shipyard’s latest megayacht of the 56-meters series, that has as predecessors the acclaimed sailing yachts Burrasca, Santa Maria, Rosehearty, and Selene .
PERFORMANCE
Beyond having the essential characteristics of the 56 meter series of the Italian shipyard, but with an architecture that has been optimized by mega yacht designer Ron Holland to obtain a better sailing performance, charter yacht BAYESIAN presents a singularity that makes her radically different from the previous ones. The mega yacht is rigged with a single mast, that its 75 meters in height and is built in aluminum, turning it into the tallest mast made in this material.
HIGHEST MAST
The mast of this luxury charter sailboat is the second world’s highest after the one on yacht M5 (ex-Mirabella V).
The disposition of the deck also turns this vessel into a unique sailboat for a Mediterranean yacht charter. The owner required a different layout of the outer spaces that would favor alfresco entertainment. To accomplish this, the foredeck is equipped with a real 60 square meter covered saloon, at a lower level than the rest of the deck and surrounding the mast base that is added to the traditional stern saloon so characteristic of Perini Navi.
This semicircular space has sofas and tables. The lateral walkways go down a few steps. Outside elements push away via a waterproof canvas. It acts as a marquee that converges at the mast base. Moreover, it acts as an awning stanchion. Circular transparent panels that allow a 180º vision flank the whole area. The windows can be taken off at will. Subsequently, based on the use wanted to be given to this space.

The interiors of this sailing superyacht are the work of the Parisian interior designer Rémi Tessier. The designer received the owner’s order. They are a young couple with children. Perini Navi sloop Bayesian begins Mallorca refitThe world’s tallest aluminium mast has been unstepped at RSB Rigging Solutions in Mallorca, as the 56 metre Perini Navi sloop Bayesian is prepared for an extensive refit. The 74 metre tall rig was prepped by the RBS team alongside Tony Hawker from Florida based Seahawks Rigging. The unstepping was carried out earlier this month, shortly after the sailing superyacht (formerly known as Salute ) arrived into the Balearics. Steve Branagh, founder of RSB Rigging Solutions, said: “We have hit a number of impressive milestones in the last few years giving us the well earned reputation of being the ‘go-to’ rigging company in the Mediterranean. “The team we have built over the years is capable of handling all situations, acting fast to find solutions for any mast, rigging, and rope related issues.” The refit will be carried out in collaboration with Astilleros de Mallorca, and Mr Branagh added that the whole process will take around three months, with the mast due to be restepped in September. Launched in 2008 by Perini Navi, Bayesian is one of the 50 largest sailing yachts in the world and her mammoth mast supports a total sail area of almost 3,000 square metres. Her naval architecture is by Ron Holland and Perini Navi, while interiors are by Remi Tessier — it is not yet clear to what extent these will be modified by the current Mallorca refit. (Stars and Stripes) CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — A Japanese yachtsman was taken into custody this week after landing at White Beach Naval Facility, according to the Navy and Japan’s coast guard. U.S. military police “arrested a Japanese man who landed within the premises of White Beach on a yacht” and reported it to the coast guard at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, a coast guard news release said. The man was handed over to the coast guard at 3:13 p.m., according to the release. A spokeswoman for Fleet Activities Okinawa said the man sailed a “leisure vessel” into restricted waters near White Beach. The coast guard towed the vessel away, according to an email from spokeswoman Candice Barber. “U.S. Security forces responded, and at no point was the security or protection of the base in question,” she wrote. “As a reminder to the public, access to a U.S. Navy installation is restricted to authorized personnel.” The man identified himself as Minoru Tomono, 77, of Saitama prefecture, just north of Tokyo. He carried no identification and coast guard officials could not immediately confirm his identity, a coast guard spokesman said by phone Wednesday. Some government officials in Japan are required to speak to the media on condition of anonymity. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, the spokesman said. “We only know that he departed from Yonabaru Marina,” he said. Yonabaru is approximately 12 miles southwest of White Beach across the open water. The man remains in custody at the Nakagusuku Coast Guard Office. Japan’s coast guard will either release him or forward his case to prosecutors within 48 hours of the arrest, the spokesman said. If convicted of an offense, the man could face imprisonment for up to a year or a fine of up to 2,000 yen, or $12.67, according to the release. White Beach Naval Facility, near the tip of Katsuren Peninsula, is used as a staging ground for U.S. Marines and their equipment on Okinawa, according to the Navy Region Japan website. Gary King from the show was accused of sexual misconduct by makeup artist Samantha Suarez in 2023-but still remains attached to the show, with the only known consequences being his removal from BravoCon. However, while he hasn't officially been fired, his alleged actions are potentially keeping the already filmed fifth season from airing. Suarez told Rolling Stone in August 2023 that King had allegedly tried to force himself on her during the show's season four production, which filmed in Sardinia, Italy , in 2022. King has continually denied the allegations. Eagle-eyed fans noticed he seemingly got defensive about the situation in the comments on his latest Instagram post, where someone commented he had done something "against someone's will," and he quickly responded. "Against their will, what the f--k are you talking about never have I nor will I ever do anything against anyone's will, get a life and go talk s-t somewhere else. Ps f--k off," he wrote. On Reddit , fans weren't buying, though, saying he would "never take responsibility" for any of his alleged actions. "This is the same guy who kept saying Mads lied to him, made him look like an idiot and that she 'never said anything about their relationship being just casual', and that she lead him on," one person wrote. "Cuts to production literally showing all instances where Mads said to him that it was just sex for her. He will never take responsibility for his behavior or actions." "Gary just doesn't get it. He has horrible impulse control issues around women, but for some reason, otherwise perfectly lovely women like Mads and Daisy reward and reinforce Gary's aggressive arm-grabbing, barreling into and clotheslining around their necks. They like him, and that's their business," another said. "So in his rather simple mind, he thinks he can act like that with all women, and he's confused when women don't like it and find him repulsive." "He can say what he wants, but the bottom line is that the show is now in jeopardy of being canceled (Sailing not BD). That would not be happening if Bravo didn't feel like the heat of liability is out there," another pointed out. "It;s really sad because loads of us have waited months for the new season and there's the potential of it not happening because of f---ng scummy Gary! He's hurt someone, and he's not taken our show potentially off the air. I've seen his comments, and it's hundreds of people defending him! It's disgusting!" another said.
