‘Below Deck Med’ Stars Joe Bradley’s And Nathan Gallagher’s Bromance Is Still Going Strong: “We’ve Been In Contact Every Single Day”

Below Deck Mediterranean is sailing through its ninth season on Bravo with no signs of slowing down! While fans have loved to watch the crew of the Mustique fall in line under the guidance of Captain Sandy Yawn and Chief Stew Aesha Scott , another power duo has emerged: deck hands Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher . The connection between the Liverpudlian and Irishman was instantaneous. They immediately bonded because of their similar personalities, their charm with the ladies, and—most importantly—their efficiency in performing their on-deck duties.

While Gallagher had eyes only for fellow deck hand, Gael Cameron, Bradley quickly found himself caught in the middle of stews Elena “Elle” Dubiach and Bri Muller. Bradley, who made it very clear to both women that he “was not looking for a girlfriend,” doesn’t agree with the minority of viewers who think he should immediately pick just one woman to pursue. “What am I doing? Just having a flirt,” said Bradley. “Am I doing anything wrong at the young age of 27 and exploring?” According to Gallagher (and most viewers), Bradley is doing exactly what he’s supposed to do during a charter season. “He’s dating on the yacht,” reasoned Gallagher.

When asked if the two have kept in touch after Below Deck Med —which both men admitted to being fans of before going on the show—Bradley and Gallagher confirmed their bromance is stronger than ever. “Every single day since the day we met, we’ve been in contact,” said Bradley. “We’re having, like, four- or five-hour phone calls every day,” added Gallagher. “It’s crazy.” The men’s banter was on full display during a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live . Host Andy Cohen was clearly taken with the dynamic duo. “What a legend he is, eh?” marveled Bradley. “Those conversations flew.”

Bradley and Gallagher hopped on Zoom to talk to DECIDER about the season so far, their on-duty and off-duty mishaps, and why strawberries are the sexiest fruit.

DECIDER: Your Watch What Happens Live appearance was a debut for the Bravo record books! You two are taking the world by storm!

JOE BRADLEY: Thank you so much. Honestly, that was an experience. Andy Cohen, what a legend he is, eh?

NATHAN GALLAGHER: It was so much fun.

Andy was clearly enjoying himself. What was your favorite part about doing the show?

NG: Being in the toilets with him, having a piss together. That was the best [laughs].

JB: That was the perfect time [laughs]. Those conversations flew. Honestly, what a man he is. So funny.

What is the secret to your charm? Is it the accent?

JB: I’m going to say 76.4%.

NG: This is where we disagree again. I want to say 74.9%.

JB: Obviously, self-confidence does play a big part. Like, I’m confident in myself. He’s comfortable within his own body.

NG: And we’re cheeky.

JB: We’re cheeky too, I suppose. It comes with your geographical position.

Bravo fans love a bromance, yours especially. Were you worried about keeping in touch after the season ended?

NG: No chance.

JB: Every single day since the day we met, we’ve been in contact.

NG: We’re having, like, four- or five-hour phone calls every day. It’s crazy.

JB: It’s crazy. Even if I trip over a rock and break an ankle, I’m on the phone still. I’m going, “Brother, I think I need to call the ambulance.” And he goes, “Okay, then call it.”

NG: He rang me, lost in the forest.

JB: Yeah, literally. My first point-of-contact was this man right here. I went, “Brother, I’m lost.”

NG: I don’t know Liverpool. And he’s calling me in the forest in Liverpool.

JB: It was a community park!

Well, I’m glad to see you two are still so close. Were you fans of Below Deck before you applied for the series?

NG: We’re huge fans of reality TV.

JB: We’re full fans of the show. To get the opportunity to do a charter season ourselves exceeded our expectations.

NG: Never in a million years would I ever expect to meet someone like Joe on a reality TV show.

JB: Without Nathan, I don’t think it would’ve gone as well for me.

Iain is the bosun this season, and he’ll still proving himself—especially at the end of Episode 6. What were your initial impressions of him?

JB: My initial impression with Iain was that he’s a god [laughs]. His body is crazy. He seemed so confident. He was giving orders, telling us, “This is how the season’s going to unravel.” I felt comfortable.

NG: Yeah, my initial experience with Iain was totally positive as well. We felt comfortable with Iain, but as the season went on, you tend to find out a few different things.

JB: Such is yachting.

NG: You need the ability to deal with different people at different times. It’s not all sunshine and blue skies.

Joe, is this Ellie-Bri situation the first love triangle you have ever been part of in your yachting career?

JB: Listen, girl, no, I’m sorry, but I’m very forward with my intentions.

NG: Very open.

JB: Yeah, I’m an open book. If talking to couple girls is going to hurt someone on a personal level, then I would stop. But what am I doing? Just having a flirt. We’re going to have a little dance in the club like. Am I doing anything wrong at the young age of 27 and exploring?

NG: You’re not looking for a girlfriend.

JB: I’m not looking for a girlfriend. I’ve made it very clear. If one of them had told me, “I’m sorry, Joe, you are hurting me ,” I would have stopped flirting with that girl. I didn’t go back and forth between Elle and Bri and try to stir up trouble between them. That’s being called a player. I don’t believe what I’ve done can be categorized as such. I’m just very forward and ready to have fun at any given time.

I absolutely agree with you. I think you were very clear from the beginning. You three are young, you’re in yachting… stuff happens. I know people in online chatter have been saying, “Oh, Joe should pick one.” Why should you pick one? It’s been like six days into the charter season.

NG: Exactly.

JB: Exactly. I don’t know these women. How can I choose just off the physical aspect? Elle’s just a different kettle of fish socially. I didn’t really get along with Elle on a personal level like I did with Bri who is a fucking Wonder Woman. Elle, she knows what she likes. She knows what she wants, and I don’t think I could give that to her. That’s just how it is. It’s okay if I’m not interested in her whether sexually or otherwise. That’s just how it is.

NG: Let’s say, in the real world, you might have one date with a person that doesn’t work out. Well, that happens in yachting too. Why would you force yourself to stay with a person you didn’t gel with because you’re doing a charter season together? Wouldn’t you explore different options?

JB: That’s why it’s called dating.

NG: Yeah, he was dating on the yacht.

JG: How can I choose a woman within a six to eight-day period? It’s unrealistic. I don’t even know me mom [laughs]. I’m living a normal life. Every single day is a new day for me.

Nathan, I will say that I am into you and Gael hardcore. What was the first thing that attracted you to her?

NG: Initially, it was straight away her appearance. She was beautiful.

JB: Yeah, gorgeous.

NG: As I got to know her, it was her personality that outshined her looks. That was crazy. I just adored her.

I don’t think we’ve ever talked about a piece of fruit on the Below Deck franchise as much as we’ve talked about strawberries. Why is a strawberry the sexiest fruit?

NG: Because it’s nice, subtle…

NG: Easy on the eye. You bite it into it and it gives you a lovely flavor.

Joe, were you rooting for Nathan and Gail as the season went on, or were you worried about the deck crew dynamics?

JB: I wasn’t worried in the slightest because I know that he’s a professional. As a brother would, I did check in with him. I would go, “Listen, be careful you know. You’re in the same department. Just don’t let it disrupt the work dynamics.” I had not one inch of worry. I knew he, and Gael as well, wouldn’t do anything to hurt the team because we’ve got to get the job done.

Nathan, as someone who’s watched the show before, I was so surprised that you thought you could get away from the cameras that first night out.

NG: I didn’t even know there was the camera in that area. I went through the entire season not knowing that wee camera was there.

What was the biggest deck crew mishap so far: Iain forgetting to plug in the tinder overnight or Nathan and the charter guest getting stuck at sea on their paddle boards and having to be rescued by a nearby catamaran?

NG: All of the above.

JB: With the tinder battery, it can happen to absolutely anyone. You’re running on not a lot of sleep; there’s a lot going on in your heard. I did feel for Iain in that respect. Obviously, Nathan and the guest having to be rescued by a catamaran–I don’t think that’s ever happened in yachting history.

NG: I left the yacht and came back to the yacht, and in between I was on a fucking paddle board.

JB: He was on the tinder previously. He was on four vessels that day. So, he’s winning.

NG: The guest loved it. I made sure she was comfortable and having fun.

Who flagged down the catamaran: you or the guest?

NG: We were trying to go back on the paddle board, and we just couldn’t make headway. We were actually going backwards because the current was so strong. We were in Greece, but we were getting pushed towards Turkey. Eventually I said to her, “we have to give up.” We’re shouting and waving our paddle boards trying to get the Mustique’s attention. No one noticed us. So, a catamaran passed by and I waved them down. I said, “Listen, we need to get back to that yacht over there. Will you do us a favor? Pick us up and leave us over there?” And they did. Thankfully.

Our time is winding down, but Joe, I wanted to ask—since your musical abilities have been on display numerous times this season—what is your go-to karaoke song?

JB: Oh, I’d say “Crazy” [by Gnarls Barkley]. [sings] “I remember when, I remember when I lost my mind.” It’s got to be that one.

What about you, Nathan?

NG: Karaoke? I reckon a little One Direction, you know?

NG: “Night Changes.”

JB: What a cue. We’re grown men. We love One Direction. There’s no problem with that, is there?

NG: None at all!

Who Is Joe Bradley from Below Deck Mediterranean? 4 Things to Know About Him

Joe Bradley from Below Deck Mediterranean

Joe Bradley is the lead deckhand of Below Deck Mediterranean , and there are plenty of interesting facts fans should know about him.

Below Deck Mediterranean is a spin-off of the original Below Deck series and began in 2016.

The show follows the crew members of a superyacht who both live and work on the boat during a charter season.

Everything Fans Should Know About Joe Bradley

Joe Bradley in Below Deck Mediterranean

Joe Bradley Has a Lot of Hobbies

Joe Bradley, the lead deckhand on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, has more than one hobby he likes to pursue when he is not on the sea.

According to his brief profile on Bravo's website, some of Joe's hobbies include "rock climbing, go-karting, motorbikes, the awe of sunsets, dancing, playing the guitar, piano and swimming."

While not technically a hobby, it is important to mention that Joe is from Alicante, Spain, and also, according to his Bravo bio, he is fluent in Spanish.

Joe Has Some Wild Yachting Stories

Joe Bradley only has three years of experience in the yachting industry, but that does not mean he doesn't still have some wild stories to tell.

For example, Joe shared via the Bravo website that one time, he witnessed "a Catamaran crash in Italy:"

"There was a Catamaran crash in Italy. A huge Catamaran lost power and crashed against all the boats."

For context, a Catamaran is a type of boat with two parallel hulls on the bottom that help resist rolling and overturning. It is also important to note that Catamarans can be as small as 35 feet long or as big as 150 feet, so if the Catamaran that crashed was rather large, it would have been a major incident.

Another crazy story that Joe shared publicly is regarding what a guest tipped him. Of course, since yacht crews do so much work, it is customary and polite for guests to tip them.

However, one guest must not have received the memo that most people tip workers in cash.

According to Joe, this guest instead tipped him "a packet of nuts," and, ironically, the man was the owner of "a nut packaging company." As if it couldn't get worse than that, Joe also revealed that the nuts "weren't even salted:"

"I had a guy onboard who owned a nut packaging company and I got a packet of nuts. They weren’t even salted."

Joe Revealed the Truth About His Feelings on Bri and Ellie

Below Deck Mediterranean wouldn't be a true reality show without some drama .

Since the show's Season 9 began, it was clear that a love triangle was already forming between Joe and two stewardesses, Elena "Ellie" Dubaich and Bri Muller.

Both Bri and Ellie admitted to being attracted to Joe and wanting to pursue things further with him, with Bri even revealing in a confessional that "everyone has needs, and sometimes, [her] needs need to be met."

Ultimately, Bri and Ellie decide to help one another, with each confident that Joe will pick them over the other.

Since the show is still airing, fans don't know how everything will play out between Joe and the two ladies.

However, after appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (as shared on YouTube ), Joe was asked to play a game called Between Two Stews, where he was given different questions and had to choose which woman (either Bri or Ellie) fit the description better.

Joe admitted to noticing Ellie before he did Bri, but Joe picked Bri for nearly every question.

For example, he chose Bri over Ellie when asked who was the better flirt, who the crew liked better, who had a better sense of humor, and who had the better smile.

It is also important to mention that Joe revealed he is currently blocked by Ellie. While it was not explicitly stated, it seems as though things worked out much better with Bri than they did with Ellie.

Yes, Joe Met His Joe Bradley Doppelganger

Interestingly, Joe Bradley from Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 is not the only person with that name on a Bravo series.

The other (and American) Joe Bradley has appeared on a show called Southern Hospitality .

Below Deck Med 's Joe revealed via Bravo that the two met in person in Miami, Florida when the American Joe Bradley's "girlfriend was DJing:"

"So his girlfriend was DJing at, like, this venue in Miami. I said, 'Brother, get your ass here.' And there it was. I met the American Joe Bradley."

Below Deck Med 's Joe even posted a photo on his Instagram from when the other Joe came down to Miami, indicating that the two genuinely like one another.

How to Follow Joe Bradley Online

Joe Bradley can be found on Instagram ( @joebradley_ ).

New episodes of Below Deck Mediterranean are released every Monday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and stream the next day on Peacock .

90 Day Fiancé’s David Toborowsky Reaches Major Milestone After Announcing Surprising Career Change

90 day fiancé’s darcey silva reveals extraordinary weight loss transformation in rare video with daughter, the masked singer season 12 premiere date announced as backlash against nicole scherzinger’s absence grows.

Gary King raged out against Daisy Kelliher in an unseen clip from the Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 reunion. The hit reality TV show recently wrapped up a season with many dramatic moments. However, the most interesting part was the love triangle between three senior Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew members: Colin MacRae, Daisy, and Gary. The trio has been part of the show since Sailing Yacht season 2 and has been friends for a long time. Unfortunately, their dynamic shifted this year when Daisy hooked up with Colin despite knowing she had a connection with Gary.

Peacock 's official YouTube channel (via E! News ) recently posted a Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 reunion clip that didn't make it to air but was included in the extended version on the streaming service. It showed Gary and Daisy discussing the love triangle situation , surrounded by their cast members. The video starts with TV host Andy Cohen asking Gary to share his thoughts on the hookup.

The First Officer responds by stating he is confused about the situation. He says if Colin and Daisy spent time in the hotel together and fell for each other, why weren't they open about it? Daisy then underplays the hookup by saying, "Oh my god. We kissed each other a couple of times. Jesus Christ."

Below Deck's Gary Accuses Daisy Of Changing Her Story

While the Chief Stew attempts to escape the conversation, Gary doesn't stop there. The 34-year-old First Officer accuses his former love interest of lying and not sticking to the story. Colin had previously admitted to hooking up with Daisy before filming Sailing Yacht season 4. He had said, "Daisy was in my hotel room days before filming." Therefore, Daisy's excuse that they just "kissed each other a couple of times" doesn't sit well with Gary. The First Officer says, " Daisy, now you're saying something different than what happened in the hotel room." The situation then implodes when Gary tries to make a statement, and Daisy cuts him off. Gary rages out and says, "I'm talking!"

Related: The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Love Triangle Is Hurting Daisy

The love triangle between Parsifal III 's Chief Engineer, First Officer, and Chief Stew sounds confusing. However, the trio has already shared enough to explain what may have happened. It seems that Daisy liked Colin and wanted to pursue him. Therefore, she hooked up with him before the show. Unfortunately, she later discovered that Colin had been sleeping with another woman. This revelation set her off, leading her to evaluate her relationship with him through Sailing Yacht season 4. Meanwhile, Daisy also liked Gary, which explains their past hookups. However, she knew Gary was into everybody else and didn't want that to be her relationship.

As for Gary, it doesn't make sense for him to speak his mind about Colin and Daisy's situation. He is known as the "playboy" of Parsifal III and doesn't deserve any sympathy for how he feels about the Chief Stew and Chief Engineer's hookup. Since Sailing Yacht season 2, Gary has tried hooking up with various women and never showed that he was a sincere guy who wanted a real relationship. He became a villain in the most recent season by hooking up with the new crew member, Mads Herrera. Gary questioning Daisy about her intentions is hypocritical, considering how controversial he is with the other Below Deck Sailing Yacht women.

Who is Kenny Novotny? Meet the onion-hating Oklahoma millionaire featured on 'Below Deck'

Portrait of Cheyenne Derksen

An Oklahoma millionaire made waves on Bravo's yacht-based reality show a few years back when a crew member didn't take note of his specific food preferences.

Here's a look back at his 2018 appearance on "Below Deck Mediterranean."

Kenny Novotny on Below Deck Med

In Season 2 of "Below Deck Mediterranean," Novotny appeared as a charter guest with a group of friends, including wife Amberly, according to reality TV news outlet Monsters & Critics

The main drama of episodes 5 and 6 was Novotny's strong dislike of onions, which he had listed on his preference sheet given to the crew.

The ship's chef, Adam Glick, still included onions in various forms, and several dishes were sent back to the kitchen, leading the crew to worry that they'd lose money on the charter.

Who is Kenny Novotny?

Ken Novotny is an Oklahoma businessman with a variety of ventures.

At the time the "Below Deck" episodes aired, he was running a consulting services firm CSI Oklahoma , which manages IT projects for the federal defense department and others.

In 2011, the company was on track for $28 million in sales, and in 2012, Forbes Magazine ranked it as the fourth fastest-growing inner-city business in the U.S.

In recent years, he's branched out of tech and started 1440 Processing , a Choctaw-based marijuana processor that uses specialized lab equipment worth millions of dollars to extract THC from marijuana plants, and infuse the chemical into a variety of products, including edibles, tinctures, pills and more.

Below Deck’s Captain Lee Previews ‘Grisly’ Catalina Island Murder in ‘Deadly Waters’ Season Finale (Exclusive)

Below Deck fans should brace themselves as Captain Lee Rosbach introduces a chilling true crime case during Deadly Waters ‘ season finale.

In Us Weekly ‘s exclusive clip from the season 1 finale, which airs on Saturday, July 20, Lee, 74, sets the scene. “Just a 22 mile ferry ride west of Los Angeles, Catalina Island sits in the vast Pacific Ocean,” he begins. “In its heyday, it was a playground for the Hollywood elite. “Now it is a resort island playing host to tourists, cruise ships and recreational boaters alike. But even in this beautiful beach community, grisly secrets can wash up.”

The sneak peek continues with journalist Tricia Takasugi describing what took place on the island in 2006. “A pleasure boat operator was heading toward Catalina Island. He notices a flock of seagulls who are shrieking and feeding on something,” she recalls. “He sees something floating in the water. It turns out to be a body.”

The synopsis for the Deadly Waters season finale describes how “three missing fingers point to the identity of a body” that is found off the coast of Catalina Island. Authorities are ultimately plunged into “the mysterious investigation of a wealthy mogul, a luxurious yacht, and a manhunt for a killer hiding in an unlikely place.”

During an interview with Us , Lee admitted that Below Deck didn’t prepare him for his new gig , sharing in May, “Not at all. I mean, there’s cameras and water. That’s where all similarities end. … [With Deadly Waters ], you’re talking about bodies popping up and about the effect that it has on the relatives and the mothers and the fathers and the sisters and the people that are left behind.”

Captain Lee s Next TV Job After Below Deck Involves Murder on the High Seas in Deadly Waters 024

The captain used his own time at sea as a resource for the show, adding, “There’s certain aspects that when a murder is committed on dry land, maybe they’re gonna drive the body somewhere or dig a hole and put it in there. When you’re on the water, the most obvious thing is, ‘We’re gonna dump it over the side.’ But what they fail to realize is — especially if they don’t know anything about tides, currents or wind waves — is that what necessarily goes over the side and sinks to the bottom doesn’t necessarily stay at the bottom.”

He continued: “There’s a reason that bodies don’t stay down where they’re supposed to or where their perpetrators want them to. But because they don’t know about the ocean and they don’t know what water can do, it puts them at a disadvantage. That’s where our dedicated men from the people that serve in maritime law enforcement agencies have a distinct advantage because they do know. The Coast Guard when they get involved, the maritime police [and] the Navy. They have a thankless job and it all too often gets extremely gruesome.”

The season 1 finale of Deadly Waters With Captain Lee premieres on Oxygen Saturday, July 20, at 9 p.m. ET.

Too often this week we’re told how terribly something could go and then it’s fine. I’m the unwilling participant in a butt workout with all the cheek clenching and unclenching. The worst thing I saw in this episode was Gael’s boyfriend’s text: “Could use an update. Thanks.” That is a text you send to a co-worker you hate or the Spectrum installation guy who said he’d be there two hours ago. Not to your girlfriend! The punctuation — thanks PERIOD — is a clear kiss of death for this relationship. More on that later.

The immediate drama at hand is that the anchor is stuck on the ocean floor because of a broken windlass. They can’t take the guests back to port in the tender because Iain forgot to charge its battery. It’s like waking up to the awful realization that you forgot to plug your phone in the night before, if that mistake could cost upwards of $65,000 if they have to buy a new anchor. Lucky for Iain, it turns out not to be his fault because the second officer wasn’t turning the intrepid on correctly. Sandy decides to leave the anchor, running the risk of losing it. They put a buoy on the chain so it can be retrieved later. As the deck crew prepares to drop the anchor, Joe tells us, “Someone could get hurt, if not die.” This does not happen. It’s fine, and I’m annoyed by the melodramatics, which are far from over.

The anchor issues put the boat three-plus hours behind schedule, so the guests will miss their flights out. Trishelle is supposed to host people at her house that night. It feels like it could get tense, but her husband is a Delta pilot, so she’s not really concerned. All the guests are incredibly laid-back about the situation. They see it as extending the vacation, and Aesha keeps them in decent spirits with plenty of drinks.

The Mustique finally sails to the port, which is two hours away, so taking the tender doesn’t seem like it was ever a realistic option. The wind is getting worse, threatening their docking ability. Boy, have we seen this one before. Joe takes too long to drop a fender, but the docking is ultimately fine. It’s yet another build-up of suspense that goes nowhere. Sandy can tell Nathan has more experience than Joe and designates him as the bow contact. Joe can’t even tie lines properly. Any rock-climbing tech bro or 12-year-old skipper at summer camp knows their knots; how doesn’t he?! Sandy asks Iain if he’s chosen a lead deckhand, prompting me to do a double take when we realize Iain never told the captain he chose Joe on day one. Sandy says he should reassess: Nate works circles around Joe, who’s merely a good talker. She thinks Iain didn’t read their CVs, and it’s a red flag he didn’t check with her first.

Iain is incompetent not only in leadership but also in flirting. He thinks he’s been playing the long game with Ellie and is ready to make his interest known. Unfortunately for him, Ellie says he has no shot with her. This feels a bit mean on her part, but also, we understand. When Iain compliments her lipstick, Ellie makes her feelings clear by turning instead to Joe for outfit advice. Iain awkwardly butts in: “I concur. Bodysuit.” As the guests depart, Brittany compliments Sandy on running a tight, perfect ship. This is obviously untrue, given the delay, but they leave a $25,000 tip nonetheless. Who wants to look like a bad tipper on TV, right?

Aesha, now an official Marsha Doll Model, holds an interior team meeting, reminding the stews to watch how they speak to each other. Ellie pushes back, saying they don’t have time to be overly sensitive about every word. She insists that they all — clearly meaning Bri — should work on “how we take things.” Aesha can tell the issue isn’t fully resolved but will keep an eye on it. As will all of us.

A team comes to repair the windlass while another emergency-services crew fetches the anchor. I’m disappointed we don’t get to see the retrieval. Later, “Zea Marina” texts Sandy that the anchor is there for delivery. That’s just the name of the marina, but I love that it looks like how you’d save a person, Zea who works at the marina, in your phone. The whole process was cheaper than buying a new anchor but still expensive at $40,419.93. Very exact, those Bravo accountants. Also a great reminder to never buy a boat.

The crew night out is at Six d.o.g.s, a club name whose periods I cannot find the meaning in, unlike Gael’s boyfriend’s passive-aggressive periods. Nathan and Gael lick salt off each other for tequila shots. Jono correctly assesses the pair: “It’s gonna happen.” Back on the boat, Gael worries about being a heartbreaker, but she thinks Nathan is different. Sure, he’s different because he’s in front of her now. She could also save her boyfriend some pain by breaking up with him before kissing another guy, but she seems too afraid to do the breaking up, so she goes ahead and kisses Nathan. The next morning, Gael shows her boyfriend’s sad texts to Jono. Jono asks, “Do you feel like you’re trying?” and I applauded. He could add therapist to the architect-chef title. However, Gael does think she’s trying because she’s always on her phone. Jono gently suggests maybe they need a break. She doesn’t want to disappoint her boyfriend, but it’s definitely too late for that. She explains that growing up, she never heard “good job,” only “you can do better.” I guess the analogy is that now she’s looking for a better boyfriend? Or is it that she knows she could do better by cleanly breaking up with her boyfriend before kissing her co-worker? Whatever the reasoning, she has found that distance does not always make the heart grow fonder.

On the Joe-Ellie-Bri love triangle front, Joe goes to Aesha for advice, and she asks him to take the night off from the girls. He wants to be professional and agrees taking a step back is for the best. He tells Bri he doesn’t want to do anything right now, and she’s okay with that. Again, all that lead-up for nothing. It’s like they keep inflating a balloon, teasing how exciting it’ll be to see it pop, but then just slowly and safely let the air out.

With Joe taking the night off, Ellie’s lace bodysuit isn’t attracting the guy she wanted it to. Iain turns on the cringe: “There’s a lot of people telling you you’re beautiful. I’m another one.” She tries to shut down the conversation, saying she’s “a person of few words.” Iain claims he is too, then continues talking and talking. He drunkenly confesses he’s not connecting with people as much as he wants. Ellie gives solid advice: Ask people about themselves and listen. So he asks her … about himself. That is, if she’s interested in him. She leaves to dance and he follows her, talking the whole time and missing all her social cues.

And Bri is once again missing laundry, specifically Sandy’s. The captain says this is incident No. 4, or maybe 5, and while it’s not a fireable offense, Bri needs to develop a better system. Bri knows she’s making mistakes but insinuates that Ellie might be sabotaging her, so she’s going to log everything for “receipts, bitch.” If this were true, I think we’d get to see footage of Ellie’s rearranging. I won’t be mad if petty rivalry finally motivates Bri to be good at her job.

Sandy doesn’t have time to look for her missing shirt because she’s checking the wind and reports on wildfires north of Athens. It’s difficult to create suspense over events that happened a year ago. (HBO’s The Newsroom , anyone?) While we know the fire won’t reach the Mustique , we don’t know what will happen when a giant superyacht docks right in front of them. Typically, Sandy wouldn’t leave in these conditions, but she wants to avoid the smoke rolling in. The wind dies down enough, and they’re off. From sea level, it looks like they’re heading straight into the huge yacht. From above, it looks fine, like getting out of a wide parallel-parking spot. But the Mustique is close to the other boat’s lines, so the episode ends on a “to be continued.” They want me to clench my cheeks until next week, but I’m no longer falling for it.

Below Deck Med spoilers: Joe gets scolded, Gael and Nathan flirt, and more Captain Sandy laundry drama

Gael Cameron on Below Deck Med

Below Deck Med spoilers reveal that Captain Sandy Yawn has her hands full with the crew as a new charter begins.

The most recent episode ended on a cliffhanger as the Mustique yacht rushed to escape smoke from the wildfire but had another yacht making the exit difficult.

And it was not smooth sailing for the crew to get to this point.

The deck team takes a hit from Captain Sandy, and they aren’t the only ones in her crosshairs.

Bri Muller has once again messed up the laundry. It might be the end of the road for her.

Captain Sandy praises Nathan and scolds Joe on Below Deck Med

In the latest preview video for Below Deck Med, we see Joe get yelled at by Captain Sandy as she panics a bit getting out to sea and he messed up a line.

Once the Mustique yacht is on its way to safer waters, Captain Sandy takes a minute to praise Nathan via her confessional. Nathan has become her official bow guy.

Joe, for his part, knows he’s in a little trouble. In his confessional, he weighs in on being taken off the bow. The change isn’t getting Joe down as he plans to “fake it until you make it” in the lead deckhand role.

Meanwhile, after the chaos subsides, Gael Cameron and Nathan find time to flirt. They are definitely trying to figure out where they stand with each other while also not letting their feelings get in the way of their work.

It’s rare for the Below Deck world to have two people be so professional amid romance craziness.

Below Deck Med has another laundry issues

Season 9 of Below Deck Med has had a laundry mishap during every charter. Charter number four is set to have two, and the first day has just begun.

Hot on the heels of misplacing Captain Sandy’s white dress shirt, Bri delivers not clean white pants to her. Captain Sandy calls Bri to her quarters to show her the white pants were clearly washed with something dark and have a tint to them.

Chief Stew Aesha Scott overhears the conversation as stress and tension mount. Could this be the final straw for Bri?

Tune in to Below Deck Med Season 9 to find out.

As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Kate Chastain helped Aesha kick off the new After Show for Season 9 of Below Deck Med, so be sure to check that out, too.

Below Deck Med airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-9 are streaming on Peacock.

Wildfires Threaten Below Deck Mediterranean’s Entire Charter Season: “We Gotta F-cking Go”

"I have to figure out how to get out," Captain Sandy Yawn said as she navigated a scary issue on Below Deck Mediterranean.

below deck yacht netflix

While a good crew can control almost every detail of a guest's experience on a mega yacht, they can't control the weather. And sometimes, that sets the course for an entire charter.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Mediterranean  on Mondays at 9/8c and next day on  Peacock . Catch up on the Bravo app .

During Season 9, Episode 7 of Below Deck Mediterranean , viewers got a glimpse of the wildfires that tore through Greece in summer 2023. While docked in Athens, Captain Sandy Yawn and crew were pressured to get on the road (er, sea) because of the blazing fires nearby.

"If we don't get off the dock, we're spending the day in the bulk of the smoke," the captain explained before the next batch of guests arrived. Once they did make it onto the boat, she called bosun Iain Maclean up to the bridge to chat. While the waves were looking better (which meant they could depart without major seasickness!), another super yacht had docked right in front of them.

A High-Profile Guest Has Major Complaints for Captain Sandy: "This Is What You Give Us?"

Below Deck Med Returns for Season 9 in a Historic Location — and with Returning Yachties

"Typically, I wouldn't take the risk to leave the dock, but because we have so much smoke coming in I have to get this vessel off the dock, so I'm going to take the risk," Sandy shared in a confessional. "It's crazy. You can see the fires over the hill, I have clients on the boat, and I can smell the ash that's on top of us. I have to figure out how to get out. There's six inches between the ground line, the dock, and the other boats. I'm boxed in, and if I make one wrong maneuver, the season is over."

After dismissing Iain, she let deck crew know their escape window had arrived and they needed to head out. While it was pretty tight to navigate, the pressure was on.

"We've gotta f-cking go," someone exclaimed over the radio.

Captain Sandy Yawn reacts to weather challenges on charter

Earlier in the episode, Sandy foreshadowed the issues while discussing the weather.

“We may be delayed a little bit. It’s a little rough,” she told Aesha Scott about 30 minutes before guests were supposed to arrive. All over the boat, the crew was watching the wind pick up.

“I can’t have a lot of wind when I’m trying to maneuver out of the slip,” the captain added in a confessional. “I have to wait for a weather window. We have to get off the dock before the fires get closer and the smoke starts coming into the marina. So we have to be ready when it’s time.”

Captain sandy explains the anchor issue on mustique.

Before the wildfire conundrum,Sandy had trouble even getting to the marina . At the end of Episode 6 and beginning of Episode 7, the crew was dealing with a "scary" and "f-cking expensive" anchor issue that made their guests miss their flights.

"The anchor shaft isn't working, so we're going to have to leave the anchor," Sandy explained in the episode. "We put the buoy on it and get the divers, and then we get it transported back to the marina. And then we install it there, because we need our anchor."

Luckily, a team was able to retrieve the (important) piece of equipment. But while that issue is solved, we still don't know what will come of the current problem. Find out if Mustique makes it out to sea without incident by tuning into Below Deck Mediterranean  Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo. You can also stream the next day on Peacock.

'Below Deck Med' Fans Are Over This Love Triangle

  • Fans are tired of the love triangle drama between Bri Muller, Elena Dubaich, and Joe Bradley on Below Deck Mediterranean .
  • Social media posts express annoyance with Ellie's behavior towards Bri and fans want the love triangle to disappear.
  • Despite fans' frustrations, Elena Dubaich hints that the drama will escalate even further in upcoming episodes.

When Below Deck fans tune into any of the franchise's popular shows, they are expecting to see lots of drama. After all, that drama is why fans care about what happened to Fraser Olender , how tipping affects the yachties' salary , and about the times Jason Chambers crashed yachts .

Still, even though fans like talking about things like when charter guests engage in too much PDA , there is some drama they are getting sick of. A perfect example of that is the fact that many fans are over the drama surrounding Bri Muller and Elena Dubaich's love triangle with Joe Bradley.

Below Deck Mediterranean Fans Want Bri Muller, Elena Dubaich, And Joe Bradley's Love Triangle Scandal To Go Away

When Below Deck Mediterranean's Bri Muller and Elena "Ellie" Dubaich were first getting to know each other, they planned to be each other's wing-woman . However, it didn't take too long for there to be a huge problem with that plan.

Since Bri and Ellie both had their eye on the lead deckhand, Joe Bradley, things were destined to come to a head. After all, there was a memorable moment when both women were shown expressing their interest in Joe during separate confessional interviews.

At first, many Below Deck Med fans found the love triangle to be interesting to watch. However, that tide definitely has turned over time and now there are multiple social media posts about how sick fans are of the love triangle .

In July 2024, a fan on the r/belowdeckmed subreddit posted arguing that "Ellie is such a snake" . That post went on to argue that Ellie is awful to Bri because she is "just salty cause she couldn’t get in bed with Joe first" .

What are the best Below Deck franchise love triangles , according to Screen Rant ?

In the comments of that post, there were a slew of Below Deck Mediterranean fans complaining about all the drama. More specifically, the show's fans complained about why they found the way Ellie handled the love triangle annoying .

"Ellie is awful. Definitely ranks up among the most annoying stews ever."

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht': Gary And Daisy's Season 4 Relationship Drama Might Force Some Filming Changes

Gary and Daisy argued over her changing the facts about her hooking up with Colin.

Around the same time, another post on the same subreddit complained about "Ellie bullying Bri" . The person who made that post wrote about how Ellie was mistreating Bri because she was jealous of the attention Joe pays to her . The top most-upvoted response expressed that they were so annoyed by the drama that Ellie needed to be fired and go away .

"Elli is Dwight from the office when Jim says 'This is the smallest amount of power I've ever seen go to someone's head' It is also abuse of power when you let a personal issue influence your management decisions. She needs to go."

The fact that a post arguing that Ellie needed to go was the top most-upvoted response shows how annoyed fans are by the love triangle . After all, that means that many fans who care enough about Below Deck Mediterranean to follow a subreddit about it want the love triangle to disappear.

Another fan who commented on that post called out Ellie for how she is treating Bri in no uncertain terms.

"Shes being a bully full and clear. She is using her rank to make Bri feel uncomfortable. Its unprofessional and its all over some guy they barely even know."

The Surprising Truth About Whether Camille Lamb From Below Deck Actually Makes Money From Her Music Career

Is reality star Camille Lamb, who appeared in season 10 of Below Deck, getting rich from making music?

While it has seemed like Below Deck Med fans on Reddit mainly blamed Ellie for how annoying the love triangle is up until now, that isn't the case. Instead, it is worth noting that fans also aren't happy with how Joe has handled the situation .

In July 2024, Joe Bradley spoke to US Weekly about the love triangle. While Joe admitted that he could have handled the love triangle better, he defended his behavior . I could have played it a bit differently. But, obviously, my intention wasnt to be disrespectful in any way, shape or form. And I dont believe that I was disrespectful.

A third post on the r/belowdeckmed subreddit about the drama had a second-most-upvoted response that called Joe out .

"Joe is 100% a f**k boy and its sad that these girls are arguing over him. Ellie especially needs to give it up and move on the way it seems Bri has. Its actually sad to see Ellie throw herself at him - she should really know better by her age that Joe isnt serious about anyone and if he actually liked her then he wouldnt have his door open to anyone including Captain Sandy like he said, he would only be interested in Ellie."

Below Deck Mediterranean's Elena Dubaich Revealed The Love Triangle Drama Is Going To Get Worse

While it seems very clear that many Below Deck Mediterranean fans want the love triangle drama to go away, that doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon. After all, Elena "Ellie" Dubaich revealed that the drama would get pretty wild .

This Athlete Apologized And Blamed The Below Deck Producers For His Nightmare Experience On The Show

The production team on Below Deck was blamed for putting a young athlete in a bad situation.

In June 2024, Ellie spoke to US Weekly about what fans could expect from the drama surrounding her love triangle with Bri Muller and Joe Bradley. According to what Ellie told the outlet, the drama was going to get worse .

Things are about to get messy. If the viewers think theyve already seen the biggest drama you have, this biscuit has not even hit the oven yet. Were just preheating. Its about to get crazy in the mud.

Since this interview took place in June 2024, fans could have already seen the drama at its worst. However, Ellie's comment makes it seem likely that things will still get worse in upcoming episodes.

During that same interview, Ellie argued that Joe was the one who had a lot of responsibility for the drama .

Yes, 100 percent [he is at fault]. After a while, I realized that it mightve been Joe who was playing both parties. Because even watching just episode 2 where he was kind of going back and forth, I didnt really realize the extent to which he was leading her on. Because all the stories that came back to me was more like, Oh, Bri is interested in Joe. Hes not really interested in her. He wants you. It was more like, Oh, she was throwing herself at him. But then I realized actually it mightve been him who was instigating it as well.

Since Ellie has gotten a lot of the blame for the drama, it is fascinating to learn how she viewed the situation.

Why  Below Deck  Guest Trishelle Cannatella Is "Not Ashamed" of Her Nude  Playboy  Pics

Below deck mediterranean  guest trishelle cannatella got candid about her time posing for  playboy , saying she's proud of how good she looked..

Trishelle Cannatella  is happy to talk about what she's done in the real world.

While enjoying a stunning vacation as a guest on this season's  Below Deck Mediterranean , the reality star addressed her past posing for  Playboy  after the topic was brought up by fellow guest  Marsha   Doll  on the July 8 episode.

Marsha was curious if any of the other guests had "ever seen" photos of Trishelle from her time as a  Playboy  model. And instead of shying away from her past, the 44-year-old doubled down on how proud she is.

"I'm definitely not ashamed of it," she replied to the group, "because I looked good."

And Trishelle—who has been  married to fighter pilot  John Hensz  since 2017 —took a moment to compliment her looks, adding, "My boobies are generational."

Before beginning her career as a reality TV contestant, she spent several years posing for  Playboy , as well as for its online Playboy Cyber Club. And while these days she's more well known for her onscreen challenges, the  Real World   star has definitely been an open book about her past—including her dating life.

In fact, during a 2021 visit to  Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen , the host asked  The Traitors  alum if she'd ever hooked up with  Leonardo DiCaprio . And while she was shy to answer at first, she did give the real answer while playing a game of Never Have I Ever, taking a huge swig of her drink when Andy said, "Never have I ever hooked up with Leonardo DiCaprio."

Andy was obviously delighted by the declaration, clapping and replying, "Yes! Good for you."

But Trishelle had a different take on things, joking, "Good for him!"
