RC Yachting at Goolwa SA

This website has been produced to assist sailors at Goolwa SA develop a radio sailing group initially using 'Phantom' yachts and a few one metre yachts.  Include as well a couple of Marbleheads, TS16's, Lasers and more to come.

The IOM International One Metre yacht has gradually evolved as the standard yacht though we are quite happy to welcome all yacht types.

New 'Images' page.  Get a complete pictorial history of the GRYG with action stills and videos from our beginnings in 2011 until the present.

Check the ' Results ' page for the latest race results

Yes we sail rain or shine! Prefer the shine though combined together is not bad either.

Have a spectrum DX6i radio?  Those shocking trim tabs break so easily with no warning.  See a solution at http://www.eastrc.org/estoretrimtab1.htm These work on most spectrum radios and even on the orange transmittter.

The 2024 South Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta (SAWKR) will be held over three days from 5-7 October 2024.  The Regatta is hosted by the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia (CYCSA) in partnership with Port Adelaide Sailing Club (PASC) and the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron (RSAYS).

SAWKR is aimed at women currently participating in sailing, and looking to enjoy the company, competition and camaraderie of other female sailors.

Now is the time to get involved in this exciting event. Courses will be set in two locations, the stunning waters of Gulf St Vincent and also in the protected waters of the Port River.

SAWKR is made possible in large part by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, our major sponsor with support from the Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing, and many other contributors.

Enquiries can be made with the CYCSA Racing Administrator, Inese Lainis 08 8248 4222 or by email  [email protected]  | follow us on social media  @SAWKR
